Essential Madrid: Walking Tour

Highly recommend! Great introduction to the city. Our guide Miguel was engaging, answered all our questions, and did a great job showing us around.

We had originally booked this tour for a Thursday right before a national holiday. The tour company was so kind to let us know the palace would be closed due to last minute preparations for a state dinner. They asked if we could go a day earlier so we could see the palace. It saved us from not being able to see one of the highlights of our trip. Both the palace and the prado were included plus a guided walk between the two museums. Andrea was so pleasant and well educated. We throughly enjoyed her wit and knowledge. Kudos to her for making this an unforgettable day in Madrid. Highly worth the five hour tour

Tour got changed after we had been trying to find start of tour. Received email change of time 11.30 to 1.15 other end of town! Didn’t go to any of the places shown. Only thing we learned was the door for the tooth mouse! Complete waste of time

The time was changed from 11:30 to 1 pm then moved to a different starting location. We walked over to the new spot 20 mins away) then it was canceled at 12:30 this left us no time to book any other tours that day.

This was a very good tour and excellent value for money, providing a comprehensive introduction to the main sites. The guide was full of interesting information, the pace was excellent and I acquired the information to decide where to return to for a more in-depth visit.

Andrea gave us a fantastic tour in English. Took about 90 mins and was worth every penny to see the main sights and understand the history.

Terrible company whi.misold us a tour and then refused to answer our concern Sold a 1.5 hour tour and gave a very por 30 minute tour. Even the guide was embarrassed. Please avoid this company

The trip started on the wrong foot; got word it would start late. Then the guide contacted us and refused to give us any answers on how to identify her; an umbrella? A flag? A sign? Just assurances everything would be alright. Then we couldn’t understand her. Initially , we thought it was the cheap audio equipment before we figured out it was just her. How awful! She gushed over all the stores and hotels of luxury, the royalty, and the elite in power. So if you are avaricious, you might love the tour. I would have much rather heard about the Moorish wall 25 Ft from where we were standing…that never was mentioned.

Guide was late to the meeting point and I rang the company. Guide then arrived. Very interesting tour.

Tour guide never showed up. I called the company multiple times and they kept saying he was on his way and he was close by but after 40 minutes of waiting I decided to cancel, and I am still waiting for my refund.

To be honest we didnt enjoy it... 1. The meeting point changed to the Royal Palace and we were not briefed about the royal palace or even about the Cathedral opposite it. 2. At different other monuments there was no time given to take pictures at each spot. 3. Some landscapes like the bear and tree symbol of madrdid was show to us from a distance of 400miles 4. The tour was so short that it ended in about 1hr..

Commentary was very basic and tour finished half an hour earlier than expected. We also started late because the guide had lost a guest at his previous stop and we were left waiting like lemons in the rain. The guide also took a call during the tour which I discovered when I asked him to repeat something. Underwhelmed big time. Shame, because Madrid is a beautiful City.

This trip never happened to me. The guide never showed up twice and canceled the trip once. At the time the guide didn’t offer private trips and she didn’t have enough people people to continue with offered trip. Viator confirmed but trip operator didn’t so, I waisted my time and money getting to the meeting point 3 times and no one showed up. I would not recommend this trip Sorry

We had a wonderful experience in Madrid thanks to our guide Miguel. My partner and I had a great time throughout the stay; the treatment was always close, pleasant and very professional. We chose Naturanda for this tour as in August we had done a tour of the Royal Palace with them and the experience had been very good. In this Tour it was quite the opposite, the guide arrived 20min late (he came with a group from another Tour), 5-10min after starting he made a break of 20min, the total time of the experience was not even 1 hour. On the other hand, the guide tired of making political comments for much of the time, ideologies aside, the comments were completely left over. A disaster in general, it was my family's first time in Madrid and we could not have chosen worse. 0% recommended.

I took a guided tour of the Prado Museum. The guide Angel is knowledgeable about the works exhibited with implicit history of each painting seen through historical periods and with anecdotes that make the presentation very interesting for those who are interested in a tour concentrated by an art teacher. Highly recommended

It was a great visit, a different way to spend the day, it was my partner and I, we appreciated places in Madrid that we had never paid attention to before despite the interest they have. We will make other such excursions and repeat with this Enterprise. The attention and knowledge of the guide is remarkable

In the experience put Madrid delighted and d delighted had nothing. It was good because we learned things but I was expecting another visit. The guide didn't wait for the whole group to be there, she was telling the story to those she had by her side and the rest if we found out well but also. (I think if we had a flask with headphones we'd be listening to the information all the time) The guide assumed that everyone had knowledge of the history of Spain which is not always the case. The farewell was painful, the guide left quickly without saying goodbye and the tour ended 10 minutes earlier.

They changed the time from 11 to 11.45, but we started at 12.15 waiting for other people to leave the Prado. I hurriedly walked with few explanations, less time than hired, our guide Silvia without microphone, we heard nothing, and to top it off she had an Americana next door to which she had to translate everything, it was supposed to be in Spanish. Because it was already paid if we hadn't left. I was terrible with my friends. Last time with this agency.
