Place is very crowded with not allowed of space so it can be hard to see some things as you will wait ages. It’s not amazing but it’s definitely something to do if you have time to pass

Was very dissatisfied with the museum and its displays.
Had a fun experience at this interactive museum. Staff was very friendly, English speaking and offered to take our photos on several occasions, also guiding how to interact with displays.
All soo nice and funny, we will repeat. The sraff are so nice they are willing to help you with fotos.
We spent about an hour and a half in this attraction. It was a fun thing to do, we were surprised and amazed at many of the challenges before us. Take your camera.
Overpriced, very limited and dated illusions. Place was overrun by uncontrolled kids screaming and bumping into everyone while the "bigger kids"attendants stood by and watched. Worth €3 not €16
The activity was somewhat interesting and existing. The things to see are nice, but lack organization. It is a small space for what it is intended. Did we enjoy it? To that I'll answer, a little. Could I have enjoy it more, yes. The problem is the this is an activity for young and old to enjoy. When you mix these two, the young dominates and the old have to move aside. This is no bueno, especially if I paid to go in. The activity could be split for every other hour. Families with young kids would have the same opportunity as the older people who try this alone or in a small group. I left with a bitter sweet taste because I had to give way to kids on some of the areas. I love to see exited children, but my purpose there was to enjoy the illusions of the program. There are many different ways to make it more exiting for people and even more profitable for the company that rus it. Would I recommend it. Don't really know yet.
Most of the activities were engaging and fun. Two floors of activities and things to look at. The place was too crowded and some of the activities were hard to get a shot at. Didn’t last the full hour. Staff were friendly and clean toilets.
After visiting museums and doing shopping this was a welcomed activity to do something different. The entry fee was 15 euros for adults and 12 euros for kids and students. The illusion museum has two floors and will keep you occupied for about one hour. My family enjoyed this because they were keen to try everything! They had fun taking photos in the illusion rooms and attempting all the puzzles. Some of the previous reviews said that the museum was small. However, we haven’t been to one before and whilst we had previously seen some of the exhibitions, it was pretty new to us and therefore we enjoyed it. Tips: we arrived without booking before hand and we were lucky enough to enter. When we exited just before 6pm there was a long queue of people waiting to enter. So check beforehand for available slots You have to walk downstairs to access the other floor so it won’t be feasible for wheelchairs nor strollers/prams. All in all a great activity if you want to do something different with your family and you hadn’t experience a museum of illusions before.
Really cool hour and a half kids loved it and I love watching the kids have fun so its a massive winner for me. Even as an adult some of the illusions are amazing and it's bang in the centre so its close to most other places of interest. Very friendly shopkeeper opposite. It may not be Spainsh centric or historical but it's really fun and creates a memory of somewhere so it's worthwhile.
We ducked in here because it was raining and even though we are 3 adults, we couldn't stop laughing!! Playing around with illusions, taking silly photos of each other and laughing and feeling like kids again. Some of the reviews on here state that it's only a few illusions and a bit pricey (and both of those are true), we still enjoyed it and considered it fun
Was expecting a bit more than what was available Did enjoy some parts of the experience but felt needed more (Adults only)
Great place to visit and very close to Plaza Maior. Worth a visit especially if accompanied by kids. Ideal family attraction.
This Museum is pretty bad for what you think it is. This museum seems good on it's surface but firstly it was pretty expensive (like 40 Euros) for a single adult. Fine maybe it's a good museum, right, wrong! This Museum is a bad museum for the "biggest illusion museum in Europe", because the illusions are very bad, the only good illusion is that spinnye thing that is the main selling point everything else is pretty bad and it is small. Honestly, don't pay 40 Euros just to experience this small expensive museum, you will be better off watching a YouTube review of this thing, that is completely free. Don't recommend this museum. Go on a tour of the city (Madrid is a very beautiful city) or something.
For an early entrance time it's best to book online. It gets very crowded quite quickly. The museum is a lot of fun for both adults and kids. It takes about an hour to see and photo the different exhibits
So much fun, had a great time in there with my 13 year old son. Took some really cool photos and loved all of the different rooms, illusions, pictures and games. I read some negative reviews about the size of it ,but its more than big enough - it won't entertain you all day but for an hour, I thought it was brilliant. I also liked the fact that it explained the illusions and how your eyes/brain adapted to make them happen. Super clever, fun and educational
Went to this amazing place very good value for money amazing photos enjoyed it a lot especially since it was raining and this was an indoor activity
My whole family enjoyed the experience of the museum! I totally recommend it, if you want to spend smth really different!
Pretty cool stuff in there..adults and 12 year old enjoyed it..not huge only an hour but very interesting and fun with decent pricing..lots of people in a pretty small space with most taking photos (cool ones!) so may not be for everyone!
We were visiting Madrid and a friend recommended Thea visit to the museum. All of us had great fun and we took many pictures to remember the experience.
Very small and very busy when I visited on a Friday. I was expecting for the entry fee of 12 euros more than an hour’s worth of entertainment.
We had some time to kill on our last day in Madrid. We made a great choice with this place! The staff on arrival were friendly, welcoming and great fun. One of them even helped us to understand a couple of the illusions which were too complicated for our old brains!!! Super place, highly recommended, especially if you're lucky enough to meet the same staff we did.
We had a good time here, dinner cool illusions. We probably stayed for about an hour and had a go at everything. We didn't have if wait to long to try things if anything. We liked a member of staff wondering round offering to take photos as some things require a third person. I would recommend.
Killed an hour for us. There were too many people let in atonceso you had to queue for a long time for some things. Some people treat it like they're on a private visit and don't respect others being there. Staff all very friendly and helpful but we thought had there been 3 of us ot would have been better as a lot of the illusions need 3 people. Not sure how a single person would get on.
A great fun place to escape the sunshine for an hour. Kids and adults had a great time. Easy to get to and a great ice cream shop just down the street for afterwards.
Enjoyable. Well presented in both Spanish and English. Didn't take long to get round. A bit busy with everyone wanting space to experience and photo at each spot so it is good that they limit entry numbers. Pretty good for all ages from about 6.
I had so much fun. It was amazing! I would repeat it. It is a godd place for kinds and couples, also you can take incredible photos
There are plenty of options here to take truly mind bending photos. A lot of fun, and we have photos that don’t seem possible. There’s also a range of exhibits designed to play with your vision and trick your eyes.
Great fun for the kid inside of you! We had a great time experiencing the illusions throughout the museum and really appreciated the markings on the floor indicating where to stand and where to take photos to capture the illusion. Staff was really friendly and we learned a lot.
Went as a group of university students and we all had great fun. Tickets are 12 euros but 9 after showing student ID. Didn’t take that long to get around but was good fun. For your entry fee you get a maximum stay of an hour. The tunnel was probably a highlight. Many great photo opportunities too!
Suitable for all ages. Especially fun for those with an aversion to typical stuffy museums. Easily accessible via public transit. No overwhelming crowds. Allow 90 min. Visit was prior to covid-19 pandemic
Very small museum, which is done much faster than what is advertised. You barely start discovering the different illusions before it is already over. Too bad. Very welcoming staff, by the way.
I went this week with my two children and I was disappointed; the price is high for what it really is, plus the visit is done in 30 minutes, so the price seems excessive to me, and you go without a guide, just a brief explanation at the beginning; I do not recommend it, as there are more options in Madrid to do.
No problem, everything normal It was the only entry where I had success With previous entries it went terribly for me
Nice fun experience, not great but worth a visit
Not worth it, for a family with 3 kids costs 65€ for a few rooms and really boring illusions. Absolutely not a recommendation.
If you want to throw your money away, this is your place. We have gone to several similar museums in Spain and outside and this is by far the worst. I wouldn't pay a euro to visit again. My daughters got bored like oysters and we don't even count it.
We went on a Sunday because we had no plan and it was very good. It is a small tour, but fun and enjoyable.
Carefully reading descriptions and enjoying has fantastic visual illusions or things you can interact with
We went there with such enthusiasm and came out disappointed. Museum too small for the cost of the ticket, few illusions and still too many people not to appreciate the same.
Enough class in 15min c done, some people don't wait until we finish making the photos. The staff ok they are there to take some pictures.
Bad experience, too many people, you couldn't see anything. I don't recommend it. And it doesn't have that much content to do with it either. Totally overrated
A curious experience, certainly suitable for a smaller audience (in my opinion from 8 to 16 years), however an hour spent in the name of curiosity and entertainment. The photos will surely remain an unforgettable memory.
Lousy, expensive, too many people and also have no slogan. When you've been in the public address for just over fifty minutes, you'll be warned to leave the venue.
Das Museum ist gut gemacht. Ich persönlich hätte mir mehr erwartet und die Beschreibungen an den einzeln Punkten waren nur auf Spanisch.
A very good experience, my children are 6 and 2 years old they loved this museum. The illusion is there. Very nice and fun for all families
We are disappointed with our visit. There are very few rooms, we went around in less than an hour. Nothing like the Barcelona one which is much more fun.
I went with my daughter. Big disappointment. Few activities and relatively uninteresting. The one in Lisbon is much more worth it.
Nice, especially if you've never seen others. Cute and well-explained illusions, but really small, in an hour at most you turn it all.
