Great way to explore two cities. The group is very large-almost fills a double deck bus. Segovia tour was split into smaller groups. Avali tour was too crowded. Guides are passionate about their country. Nice to have someone handle the transportation and translation.

It is located between the systems Sierra de Gredos in the province of Ávila, and Sierra de Ayllón in the province of Guadalajara
The Walls of Ávila in central Spain, completed between the 11th and 14th centuries, are the city of Ávila's principal historic feature. These fortifications are the most complete in all of Spain.
The Cathedral of Ávila is a Catholic church in Ávila in the south of Old Castile, Spain. It is in the Romanesque and Gothic architectural traditions. It was planned as a cathedral-fortress, its apse being one of the turrets of the city walls
The Basilica de los Santos Hermanos Mártires, Vicente, Sabina y Cristeta, best known as Basilica de San Vicente, is a church in Ávila, Spain. It is one of the best examples of Romanesque architecture in the country.
The Iglesia-convento de Santa Teresa is a church and convent located in Ávila, Spain. It was built by the Order of Discalced Carmelites in the 17th century, supposedly on the site where Saint Teresa of Ávila was born
The Aqueduct of Segovia is a Roman aqueduct in Segovia, Spain. It is one of the best-preserved elevated Roman aqueducts and the foremost symbol of Segovia, as evidenced by its presence on the city's coat of arms
Segovia Cathedral is the Gothic-style Roman Catholic cathedral located in the main square of the city of Segovia, in the community of Castile-Leon, Spain. The church, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, was built in a Gothic style in the mid-16th century.
The Alcázar of Segovia is a medieval alcázar located in the city of Segovia, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Rising out on a rocky crag above the confluence of two rivers near the Guadarrama mountains, it is one of the most distinctive castle-palaces in Spain by virtue of its shape – like the bow of a ship

This was a phenomenal trip from start to finish. Our guide, Nacho, is funny and friendly and oh so knowledgeable! The visits to these two beautiful cities were exactly what we had hoped they would be.
From start to finish the tour guides made it a fun day. Special shout out to our tour guide Federico. Specific notables…pick up spot was well marked and easy to find, good price point, tour guides were friendly, bus ride was smooth and comfortable, very walkable, nice pace throughout the day, but most of all thankful for seeing another part of the beautiful country of Spain.
Really enjoyed the day tour to Segovia and Ávila! Everything was well organised, from the meeting point to the comfortable, good-quality coach. Both cities were beautiful, and the tour was a great way to learn more about their history and see the highlights. Federico was a fantastic guide – very knowledgeable, funny and entertaining. He made the whole trip enjoyable and never made the explanations boring. Definitely recommend this tour, especially with Federico as your guide!
The 9 hrs tour was great. Not too stressful for someone up in age. Our guide, Frederick, was very informative.
Thank you for a lovely day. Frederick was knowledgable and friendly.
Fredric was a great tour and answered all of our questions
The tour was very informative. We were able to see so many beautiful places. Our tour guide, Frederico, was very knowledgeable and quite funny 😊
It was a great tour with Federico as our guide. He explained all the history well. Segovia and Avila are must see places when in Madrid.
Booked direct at operator shop in Madrid. Initially I only booked the trip (51euro) with no monuments tour but at the start of the trip paid the extra E26 to add monuments. It was well worth the extra, to not have done so I would have both missed out and struggled with logistics. Travelled Tues 2 Nov. Weather was sunny but cold so be prepared to wrap up warm. There was an annoying begging woman at the meeting point barking instructions. Please do not give her money. two co's go from similar locations Fun and T from no7 and another from the other end of the hall. Bus was a double decker luxury coach, clean, tidy, comfy, felt safely driven. Guides: I had Laura in Segovia and Frederico in Avila. Laura was very engaging, proud of her home town (rightly so) and the in ear commentary was immersive. Frederico maybe less polished but still good. In Avila it was a larger group so harder to manage the guests. There were both English and Castilian spoken groups. Not only were the towns beautiful to visit the drive to and from through countryside was beautiful too. It was nice to be part of the tour and other guests were welcoming too. Seems like folks paid different amounts depending on where they booked. Option to join the group for lunch or do your own thing in Avila for an hour. Thanks for an enjoyable, stress free (apart from the begging woman) full day out. We left Madrid around 08:45 and back around 18:30
Thank you Irene & Luis for the very nice experience visiting Segovia & Avila and learning a lot about the history of both cities!
Nice day trip. Knowledgeable guides. Be prepared to walk a bit. Segovia was so interesting. The walking is easier there. Second stop is Avila. More challenging walking with the pedestrian walkways very small. Organized and efficient.
Excellent tour of Segovia and Avila! It’s not really an in-depth visit because you stay on the move. However, it was a great overview of the incredible history here, and made us really want to come back and spend more time
This is an incredible tour! My husband was at a work conference and I was only looking to see the Segovia Aqueduct when I stumbled on this tour. I feel so lucky! We saw two medieval cities: One with an ancient aqueduct and the other with a beautiful story of Santa Teresa. It has made this trip to Spain even more special. The tour guides were thorough and knowledgeable. The tour bus was more comfortable than the plane ride over-lol. I would fully recommend this trip to friends and family.
Great time. Tour guides informative and friendly
Great one day trip to Segovia and Avila - both have unique attractions and well worth the day trip. The itinerary is efficiently managed by Fun+Tickets, with a 10 hour round trip to Madrid. The group size was a bit large (double decker bus + one single decker) but logistics were well run by David the lead guide. The pace was quite good and information provided was excellent.
Beautiful scenery and highlights! The bus ride was comfortable with a convenient meet and return point. Our guide, Carlos, was friendly and kept a good pace for the group to visit all the sights. The treats includes in Avila were delightful, although the lunch location in Segovia felt a little touristy (yes, I see the irony given that we were part of a tour group), and overpriced. As a whole, it was a good experience.
Frederico is a very good guide and was patient with us as we shopped and had lunch. Laura is very passionate about Segovia and explained everything we saw. She is very knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions from the tour members.
the tour was very organized..the tour guides Carlos/Laura/Fredericko were great..the places we visited were with amazing views.. History.. beautiful nature and amazing buildings
The tour was fantastic such gorgeous cities. Laura was an incredible guide for Segovia - a really knowledgeable local who was super interactive and engaging. Frederico also fantastic in Avila - really knows the city. I think the tour would benefit from more opportunities for food and drink.
It was an amazing day. I saw so much and learned so much history. Federico was the best. He was very friendly and knowledgeable.
We loved the tour with Laura, Luisme and Eli they provided ǰ̣a grest experience
Very good experience with guides David, Laura, Ellie, Diana. They were organized and informative and spoke English very well although a bit fast. The bus was very comfortable and the sights were wonderful. Not too rushed, not slow or boring. This involved a fair amount of walking but the pace was slow. Great tour.
- David communicated with us very well. He kept us informed and on time. -Bus driver (Lewis I think) was very good. - Lara was a great guide around Segovia. Would recommend having a little time to take pix at each location. Additionally the lunch at the restaurant was a nice break after walking, the drink and appetizer was a nice treat, but the food was just okay.
Carlos and David were awesome!
David, Irene, Laura, Eli, Carlos (my tour guide), Diana, and driver Luis Miguel, were wonderful, kind, knowledgeable, and attentive guides. the tour was amazing g, the bus was so nice and comfortable, everything was perfect. well worth the money.
An incredible trip thanks to David. Diana, Irene and Luis also helped us on our tour. It was an amazing experience. We got to see and learn a lot in one day. I recommend this tour!
Arrived at the location off Gran Via, and the coordinators arrived promptly, separated us into groups based on tour selections. Went a short walk to the bus, a block away. The double decker bus was very clean. We drove up to Segovia and were separated by language preference, English or Spanish. The tours were excellent. David and Diana, who did the English tour, kept the group pace and information was very clear. Luis and Irene took care of the Spanish tour. Would definitely recommend this tour to others. Was totally comfortable and had zero issues.
David, Diana, Irene and Luis(driver) did a great job managing a large group and were a wealth of information. The headsets were a bit wonky, occasionally cutting out, but still much better than trying to stay near a guide to listen. Overall an enjoyable and engaging day in beautiful historic towns.
An excellent tour. Very good value for the money. Guides were knowledgeable and professional. David made the experience very enjoyable and fun.
David war excellence. Vielen Dank
This excursion moves very fast, and some of the guides are very hard to understand with them talking very fast slong with their scent. Our guide did not explain in any depth about St. Therese a of Ávila.
Very well organized tour with enough time in each place. Beatrice was very knowledgeable. She made sure that we were all together and kept us on track. I would definitely recommend this tour if you are looking for something different to do from Madrid.
The whole day tour was a blast. Admired the professionalism, expertise, patience and understanding of our tour guide Beatrize. Very well-phased walking tour with lot of learnings about the attractions history and Spanish history in general. Special thank you also to our driver Luis Miguel for the smooth and safe ride. Highly recommending this trip!
Beatrice was great, kept the tour lively and fun. Pace was good considering the tour includes visiting 2 cities.
Beatrice is really fluent in English which is a big help for us to understand the history of all of the visitor spots.
Wonderful day. Our guide Beatrice was fabulous and would highly recommend. She was extremely knowledgeable, funny and personable. Juan Miquel, our driver, did a great job also. The day was packed so I’m not sure how to make it happen but we would have liked some shopping time in each city.
The tour was great and very time-efficient! Our tour guide, Beatrice, was knowledgeable and friendly. I learned a lot and had a great time!
Beatriz was awesome! Best tour guide. She kept the tour moving right on schedule and had the best personality and sense of humor. Would definitely recommend
We had a very enjoyable day with Beatrice. She gave us plenty of time for pictures and made sure noone got left behind.
The tour guide was very interesting and informative. The two cities were stunning and beautiful with so much to see and appreciate. This was a highlight of my time in Madrid. The bus was comfortable and all staff were professional.
Very informative guide providing us the rich history of these two beautiful towns
Sergovia is a beautiful town full of charm and history and Avila is a pretty religious town set within a walled city surrounded by y medieval walls. Both places were very interesting but if you had a choice I would visit Sergovia and spend some time afterwards having free time for lunch and shopping. Thanks to Frederico for his extensive knowledge and insight into the history of these areas.
Long day but worth it & great tour & Frederico ,our tour leader had excellent knowledge of the areas & his subject -ably supported by Laura & Gloria . Beautiful places to visit of great historical significance helped by stunning weather
A highly recommended trip. Thank you, Frederick and Laura.
Fredrico, Lauda and Gloria..... Excellent and VERY knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend this tour again! Just be prepared to do a lot of walking.
Frederico was an absolutely great tour guide. Great facts, great hospitality, great history. He also seems to have many friends in the locations that allowed him special access. Booking both cities in one day makes it slightly rushed in each location, but that was exactly what we were looking for - to see a lot in a short time. Exactly what we were looking for.
Laura, Gloria and Federico were great and knowledgeable guides!
In my opinion Fredric and Laura were great..the only thing it didn't like was limited free time to explore and shop..only an hour to eat in Segovia and at a restaurant of their choice ..swing one city is enough but I know I signed up for both tours ..good bus people
Good general tour to 2 historic towns. Tour was well organized and went at a nice pace, with breaks as needed. Oscar did a very nice job as our tour guide.
