Learn about Spanish culture and gastronomy, cook and have fun with your group of friends. Drink sangría to pair with 10 different tapas you will learn to prepare. Wine is available but not included in the class price. Almost half of the menu is vegetarian but we cannot adapt all the tapas to vegetarian option. No children under 14 admitted You will cook in small groups of 3 4 people and taste all the tapas prepared.
Great class and a way to learn about Spanish cuisine! Had a lot of fun; even got the cookbook! Definitely consider this class if you want to do something a little different when visiting Madrid!

I highly recommend taking this cooking class. We cooked traditional Madrid fare and there was so much food we could not eat it all. We met lovely people during the event and the chef was very well organized.
Great way to try Spanish dishes that you have a hand in creating. The chef / instructor was enthusiastic, very knowledgeable, and fun, combining cooking lessons with Spanish history. The dishes we cooked were very simple and we were sent the recipes in advance. There were only 11 of us, making it nice to chat with other participants. The only criticism I have was that while I was making the dish I was “assigned” I didn’t know how it was going with the other dishes being made. It was great to eat all that was made afterwards.
They were so kind and good at teaching! We will likely take another with them if we can!

The class is very well organized. Each position around the countertops had all ingredients ready to go to prepare each recipe. We all chose a station & began cooking right away. Chef Gustavo assisted al9ng the way. Everyone learned a bit about each recipe. The food & sangria were delicious!
Gustav was kind, patient, funny and knowledgeable! He gave us the history of the food— we learned so much and the food was yummmayy!
This was tons of fun. An engaging chef who was very knowledgeable made this a first class experience. The food was delicious! Would love to do another class with this chef if I only lived in Madrid. The chef was funny, appropriate, helpful and approachable. Can’t wait to try the recipes at home.

This is a great activity. We were 7 in the group and we were able to make 10 tapas plus aioli. The area is easy to locate, near Calle Fuencarral and Gran Via. Our chef Gustavo was great and the tapas were very tasty. Very worth the time and cost.

Such a fun experience! Our class was small so we got a lot of hands on time cooking multiple stations. Tapas were delicious and we learned some good cooking techniques to take home!

Was a great experience, I was a little skeptical that we could get so many dishes complete in time, but with everyone helping out and multiple stations(not everyone cooks every dish) we got a beautiful table of tapas together. Was fun to chat with other participants and generally was a great time!

Gustavo was a delight! Was sooo nice and educational, you can tell he really has a passion for what he does. Miss Gloria was amazing as well she kept the whole show running behind the scenes. This was one of the highlights of the trip! Gustavo also made sure we received the recipes so we can recreate at home! He had more confidence in us than we did and let us lead the way, he was there for any questions when we needed him. Such a skill to manage a room of 13? People and make sure that everything was on time, nothing burned, he was able to keep an eye on everyone and everything. I would totally come again or take one of the other classes he teaches. 10/10 experience

This is a fun activity suitable for families, friends, couples, and solo travelers. The menu includes 10+ popular tapas, including salmorejo (chilled tomato soup), garlic shrimp, tortilla espanola, and fried calamari sandwich. There is something to accommodate most diets from vegetarian, pescatarian, and carnivores…I would check if you or someone you know is vegan. The format of the class is very informal, with dishes assigned to individuals or teams. Guidance is provided to keep things on course. Together, the class will produce a buffet meal of the 10 or so tapas, then eat together at the end. There is not a lot of demo, nor will you make all 10 dishes yourself, though the recipes will be emailed after. You can also purchase their cookbook, written in both spanish and english, for about 22 euros. You will leave the class full and better informed about the tradition of tapas. The location of the cooking school is also ideal for a post-class stroll through the shop district near Sol.

We had an amazing time. Gustavo was a wonderful teacher. He was the perfect blend of hands on and hands off. Our group got along very well and ended up working together on tasks. We did 12 total items including the Sangria l, which was plentiful. Gustavo also provided the history behind several dishes which was very much appreciated. Highly recommend!!!

The 10 tapas cooking class with Chef Gustavo was everything I could have hoped for. Even with a small class we made all 10 dishes.
Fun and casual. Every group works on one station while the chef supervises and the assistant helps keep it clean and stocked properly. Perhaps a little rushed at the beginning with the instructions, but overall a great time with sangria and 10 items to eat at the end.
We had the best time with Gus and his team! We made lots of dishes and some new friends and were sent with food and leftovers after. Would highly recommend for an interactive evening!

We had an absolute ball during this cooking lesson. Our chef trainer, Gus, was fun, patient & instructive and we tried several dishes we had missed trying in cafes. Only issue we had was missing the email with the recipes - but I’m sure they will follow up with that ( fingers crossed as it was really good food !)
Cooking class made really fun! Gustavo and crew made this a great activity and the final product was delicious! The freshness of the ingredients was excellent, and we enjoyed this very much. Highly recommend.
The chef and supporting staff were very friendly, the place was well set up and clean, however I hesitate to call this a cooking class. 10 dishes in 2 hours is too many. Due to this, I only got to participate in making part of ONE dish. I wasn't even able to fully complete this one recipe, as someone else who had already made two dishes was encouraged to come and finish it off. It's a lovely social event where you can drink sangria and enjoy a meal together, but unfortunately I only learnt how to make 1 out of 10 dishes. I didn't even get to see the others being made, so I could have learnt more off YouTube.
Our experience was great. I went with my 16 year old grandson and we thoroughly enjoyed the chef and the tapas that were prepared with our co-students. Unfortunately I was not able to download the recipes and I truly wanted the recipe for the salmorejo. Maybe there is some other way I can get it. Thank you.
You will be making tapas with serval other people. Each person will work on at least one of the tapas for the whole group. This was a fantastic experience and we really recommend that if you’re considering you should definitely book this class.

We attended the class with Gus. And it was an awesome class. Really enjoyed ourselves! I went with my daughter but if I can get my husband to come with me I will repeat the experience with him. 5stars.
