What I will remember most about this hotel is the quality of the staff. Antonella and Mar at the front office were outstanding. I watched them welcome guests arriving tired and stressed after long journeys. They handled every interaction with warmth, patience, and genuine empathy. They listened carefully, stayed calm, and made people feel cared for rather than processed. That kind of human connection makes an enormous difference. Hotels are ultimately remembered for how they make guests feel. Staff like Antonella and Mar are a credit to Voco.

The hotel is average, but the lobby has a strong, unpleasant odor reminiscent of a used toilet, which could be improved by installing air fresheners. The rooms are generally okay; however, the beds are already quite worn out. If you prefer sleeping on the edges of the bed, it may cause back pain due to the lack of support. Regarding the breakfast, it remains unchanged and repetitive, offering the same options for the past four days.
A delightful hotel in a quiet neighbourhood ideal for a break to Madrid. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bed and pillows were great! I had a wonderful nights sleep. We paid extra for the premium room so the minibar was complimentary which was nice. My only one issue was the inconsistency in service as my friend had booked a premium room too but he had gifts given to him after each room service including a bottle of wine. Other than that - a highly recommended hotel and I’d definitely stay again next time we’re in Madrid. Also, it was Conveniently located within walking distance to the metro station!
I've had a very pleasant stay at the Voco Madrid. The room was clean, the location is excellent, and every staff member I encountered was friendly and welcoming. What really made the experience stand out, though, was Matheous. He has been incredibly kind and helpful from the moment I arrived. Whether it was carrying my bags up the stairs, recommending great restaurants, or giving walking directions around the city, he consistently went above and beyond. Matheous is an absolute rockstar, and the hotel is lucky to have him on the team. Employees like him are the reason guests come back. Thank you for making my stay even better!
We spent total 5 nights in Voco Madrid. The room is excellent and exceeds our expectations. Service is friendly and with very good breakfast compared to other 4 stars hotel. Highly recommended and no regret choosing this hotel. Location is ok if you mainly take Uber and it’s near to Atocha train station. 3-5 km away from major attractions. Bed is slightly soft side for me but can fall asleep.
