Urso Hotel & Spa

I recently spent quite a long stay at URSO Hotel & Spa while I was in Madrid, celebrating my 40th birthday here, and I really couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the food is great, and everything is done to an incredibly high standard. But honestly, what has really made the experience so special has been the staff. Everyone has been wonderful. From reception and food and beverage to housekeeping and everyone else around the hotel, people have just been so warm, friendly and helpful throughout my stay. When you’re somewhere for more than just a few nights, I think you really notice these things, and by the end of my stay it genuinely started to feel a little like a second home in Madrid. I also had some unexpected medical issues come up partway through my stay, and the hotel was incredibly helpful during what was a pretty stressful time. They helped coordinate things for me, made calls on my behalf and generally went well beyond anything I would normally expect a hotel to do. I was genuinely very touched by how much they helped me and how much they seemed to care. I especially want to mention Leandro, who was absolutely wonderful throughout my stay. He was incredibly attentive, kind and helpful, and really went out of his way to make sure I was okay and that I had everything I needed. I’m extremely grateful to him. I came to Madrid to celebrate a milestone birthday and ended up having a much more eventful stay than I expected, but the team at URSO made the whole experience feel incredibly special. I would recommend URSO without hesitation to anyone looking for a beautiful luxury hotel in Madrid, particularly if you value genuinely warm and personal service. A huge thank you to the entire team for looking after me so well. I will definitely be back.

I smelled the lilies immediately! They were everywhere and so beautiful. Rooms were excellent. Bed and linens were perfection. Chocolate turndown service snd afternoon cookies in the room. We used the spa with hammam and massages for even more pampering. Great location in Madrid and close to 2 subway lines. Oh and breakfast was excellent. I can't wait to return!

Everything was lovely. The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. I felt very comfortable and welcomed. All of Luciano’s dinner suggestions were great. We had fun at all three restaurants he suggested. I loved talking to Aneta during my service at the spa, and the water circuit was wonderful, therapeutic and relaxing. ( I even did some laps). House keeping was impeccable and extremely quick with each and every response. The bell hops/doormen were super sweet and aiming to please at all times. I also enjoyed Carmen and all the other staff at breakfast. What a beautiful hotel. We thought the elevator was pretty special too!

I stayed in URSO for five days and it was such a great experience. I booked this hotel to experience the Chase Sapphire Reserve EDIT hotel benefit and it was everything I wanted and more. The hotel is BEAUTIFUL and very centrally located. We had metro nearby and it was walking distance to La gran via. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was SO helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the serving staff remembered how we liked our coffee and drinks every day. Best part of the hotel experience was the little touches that made the stay a special one. I was celebrating my birthday in this trip and I don’t even remember whether I happened to mention it in the reservation or whether I mentioned it verbally to a staff member during my stay but when me and my friend got back to the hotel from being out and about on my birthday, the hotel had left a hand drawn picture and a small cake to wish me happy birthday. Such a small gesture but left me with all sorts of warm fuzzy feelings. If I ever come back to Madrid I will book with URSO again for sure.
