The hotel is truly beautiful. Breakfast in the garden was lovely, although there were quite a few bees around the food and my son was scared of them, so we ended up eating indoors every morning. All the staff were kind, polite and helpful. We often used Uber, and there was always someone there to help us when arriving or leaving. I would especially like to thank Mr Kamal Amigo, who took care of us at breakfast. My sons had a five-day football camp, so we had to leave early every morning. Kamal quickly remembered our usual orders and always made sure everything was served promptly, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed breakfast before leaving. His kindness, attentiveness and friendly conversations made our stay even more enjoyable. I understand that he is currently an intern, but I am sure he will become an excellent hotel professional that any hotel would be lucky to have. I hope we have the chance to meet him again someday. Thank you, Kamal, and everyone at the hotel, for a wonderful stay!

We visited for a drink and had a sensational time! Nesto was amazing, so kind and even made me a surprise drink! Amazing service and the gardens are gorgeous.
I didn’t sleep well. Avoid and delete this hotel is my self note. In a hotel that is going for the luxury market it is unforgivable to not sleep well. The top sheet is too short for a king size bed. The Air conditioning system was very noisy and bothersome. My suite was advertised as having a tub on the Marriott site but it s a lie. Only 4 rooms apparently are equipped with a tub. The night light is almost inexistant in the bedroom (makes it quite hard to read). in the suite living room which in my case was accessible only by an accordéon stairway like a mezzanine the natural light is barely there as is the electrical lighting. A disappointing layout. We also had to wait for our suite to be ready when checking in after 5pm. That being said the restauration staff and the doormen are very kind and helpful. The hotel is in a small street and has a garden which seems to attract some local clients for drinks in the summer. The location for tourism is not amazing. The esthetics of the building common areas is fantastic. My room was in the annex which I highly recommend you ask NOT to have. If it rains or snows you ll have to walk through that weather to go to bed or breakfast. Finally the pool is closed for an I definitely time.
An absolute masterpiece of luxury and hospitality! From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were treated like royalty. This hotel redefines 5-star luxury. The attention to detail is unmatched, and the design blends modern elegance with ultimate comfort. Our room was pristine, incredibly spacious, and offered breathtaking views. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the turn-down service each evening was a lovely touch. A special mention must go to the staff—their hospitality was flawless. They were warm, intuitive, and went above and beyond to anticipate our every need without ever being intrusive. The dining experience was equally spectacular; breakfast was a culinary highlight every single morning. If you are looking for an unforgettable, flawless stay, look no further. We cannot wait to return!
Just spent a week here. Really incredible experience. We were placed in a secondary building on the ground floor across the courtyard from the main building. We loved being able to walk directly outside right from our room. The room was really nice and spacious. Only complaint was there are basically no windows and not much sunlight. But the room was otherwise great. The staff was helpful and courteous at all times. The outdoor bar was a welcome respite for a cool midday drink to rest up and people watch. Santo Mauro is quiet elegance all the way and would definitely be my top choice when returning to Madrid.
