Pestana Cr7 Gran Via Madrid

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for several days while we were packing up her apartment for her to move back to the states. It’s in a wonderful location, central to everything. There are stairs at the front entrance, but there is a staff member stationed just inside the door who’s happy to help carry luggage up if assistance is needed. The room was not huge, but was clean and comfortable. The rooftop bar and restaurant were very enjoyable and everything we had up there was just right. Our bartender David Solis was very accommodating and made sure that our experience was exceptional. I would absolutely stay here again when I come back to Madrid since the location and staff were excellent.

Rooms are on the smaller side, ideal for business or short stay. Stayed in a double room with grand balcony, so it was nice to have a balcony and people watch on Gran Via. Rooms don't have an iron or ironing board. They have a roof top bar with music and a plunge pool. Drinks are decent. The pizzeria serves nice pizza and sports bar can be busy. Service in general is pretty good, not spectacular, but also not bad.

We had an amazing stay at CR7 Pestana Madrid. As we were celebrating our anniversary, the hotel kindly upgraded us to a Studio Suite, which made our trip even more special and memorable. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay—always friendly, attentive, and available whenever we needed anything. Their excellent service really helped make us feel welcome and well looked after. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!!! Location was also amazing as it was a short walk to everything! They also have a roof top pool, you have to go up there its a must!! Had the most beautiful views and although the pool was small it was perfect! Never too busy and great to cool down in the 35° heat we had!

Splurged on this hotel and room (deluxe grand view) for 3 nights. Gran Via is noisy but the rooms are designed well. I had to play white noise while sleeping as I am a light sleeper; emergency vehicle sirens are common. It's nice they had a security member controlling who enters the building so we felt safer. Check in was easy and the staff was very nice and spoke great English. The room was great and felt upscale compared to the other 4 hotels we stayed during our Spain trip. Literal steps to all sorts of shopping and restaurants. Our day trip meeting spot was also just a few blocks away. Close to metro stops and many taxis pass frequently. The 360 rooftop bar was a great feature and there was a DJ playing deep house music (10th floor). Great photo spot. There's also a pizza restaurant and sports bar on the 9th floor. Would stay here again.
