The bedroom walls are thin—not great—and the cleaning staff make a lot of noise, waking us up with the sound of doors, beds being dragged, and so on. It’s a standard hotel, good for a quick stay. The bathroom is quite spacious, which is a plus for me.
I recently finished a 7-day stay at NH Balboa, and I can honestly say it was the best experience I’ve had in the city. This will officially be my staple hotel whenever I visit Madrid. The Service & Staff From the moment I arrived, the front staff were incredibly helpful at all times. Every single interaction I had with the team was a pleasure; everyone was sweet and consistently went out of their way to assist us. A huge thank you to the housekeeping team as well—returning to a perfectly clean room every single day made the trip so much more relaxing. They even saved the day when I forgot my phone charger by letting me check one out from the front desk! Amenities & Dining The little touches really set this place apart. There is fresh lemonade and coffee available downstairs every day, which was such a nice treat. I also had the chance to eat at the hotel restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. From the service to the quality of the rooms, everything was perfect. The Location If you are a tourist, this location is ideal: Transit: Both the airport and the train station are within a 10-15 min reach. Sightseeing: Central Madrid is easily accessible within about 10 mins. Convenience: Ubers and taxis arrive here very quickly, making it a breeze to get around. I highly recommend NH Balboa for your next visit to Madrid. I certainly won’t be staying anywhere else!
I am regular. So that's the best comment I can give. Rooms and services are similar to other NH, but this hotel has one the best breakfast in town, and the restaurant at the hotel is great. The only thing they could improve is the gym, new and more equipment would not hurt 💪
I stayed in this hotel overnight because I missed my flight to Hamburg from Madrid. It was a compensation. It was a moderate stay for me. Nothing to complain. Room was spacious, clean and organized. Reception was attentive and helpful. Buffet breakfast was wholesome and delicious. Overall a pleasant stay for my family.
