Nh Collection Madrid Palacio De Tepa

The NH Collection Palacio de Tepa is an outstanding hotel in the heart of Madrid. We had an amazing 4 days staying at this hotel. The service was impeccable and the rooms were beautiful. The location allows you to walk to all of the major sites and the concierge service was fantastic! The GM of the hotel, Carlos was always around and available. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the hotel ( built on ancient ruins) and the City of Madrid. We had a tremendous time and highly recommend this hotel.

*SERVICE* Simply excellent! This hotel is classy. We were tired when we arrived and we were offered a drink immediately. They had water, juice and "cava", the Spanish champagne. The lady and the man at the front desk were amazing. They made us feel like family! We were very impressed. Their instructions for everything are very clear. They gave us clear directions for attractions. The last day they called our taxi for the airport at no extra charge. It's the usual 33 euros flat rate. This seems to be the rule in Spain, they hotel calls your taxi as a courtesy, no extra fees. *ROOMS* The rooms were clean, the beds are very comfortable, they provide quality toiletries, bathrobe, (not slippers), soft towels, etc. The shower is wonderful. The coffee station in the room has very good coffee and teas. The balcony was a beautiful touch. You can enjoy the fresh air of Madrid in the morning and it's not loud at night. They have double doors for the balcony so it blocks the noise. *BREAKFAST* Wow and wow! Their variety is wonderful. Plus, you can choose other things from the menu like Benedict eggs or avocado toast, and it's included in the breakfast. Totally worth it! *LOCATION* It's very well located, you can walk to main attractions. There's a Dia mini market around the corner, restaurants, a movie theater, etc. You'll want to come back!

Beautiful rooms, convenient and walkable location, but what stands out the most is the service! Every member of the team was kind, polite, and welcoming. Nuria helped plan a very special birthday celebration including a sweet surprise along with coordinating a beautiful dinner. When my wife wasn’t feeling well, Nuria and the hotel manager Carlos quickly coordinated a virtual doctor’s appointment to help access prescriptions at no cost. We were also running late to the train station and Carlos and Jonathan helped us every step of the way to ensure we didn’t miss our train, including running down the streets of Madrid to catch a taxi! We appreciated the impeccable hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here and hope we’re able to come back!

My stay at NH Collection Palacio de Tepa was wonderful. I had high expectations given the ratings, but they were exceeded. Staff were both professional and welcoming, and I never once felt like I had a question or a request that wasn't addressed. I checked in an hour early and the front desk staff offered a complementary beverage and directed me to an area where I could get some work done while I waited for my room to be ready. Once I checked in, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my room. It was on the first floor right above a busy plaza, and yet, even with the ample window area, it was peaceful and quiet. The loudest noise actually came from other guests in my hall opening and closing their doors, but with the door in my room separating the bedroom from the entry and bathroom, I was able to minimize that noise while sleeping. The location is fantastic, the design elegant and understated, and the amenities just served to elevate the experience. The breakfast was also fantastic, with lots of fresh options and many items for different dietary needs. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family, and I would stay here again myself!
