It’s really bad for the accommodation (business trip)
In the room it has no kettle no tea or coffee. With the price I paid at least should have something. Water straight from the tap only.
Cup (paper one) never change one for me, it was almost broken.
However, the cleanliness of the room was quite decent.
Breakfast line is quite limited, nothing much or fancy like Asian hotel. — specifically like where I am from (Thailand)
Elevator has no closed button (maybe normal here in Spain) and no light when pressing…
The key card always have a problem with the magnetic… with my phone when it stick with my phone, I need to come down to get my card fixed because cannot enter my room.
Never been at a Motel One before but what a pleasant surprise. Bed, and I am critical, perfect balance between hard and soft. Aircon, wow, one that actually works! Perfect. Shower.. Just perfect, correct height (I am 1,90 plus). Would definitely go back when in Madrid. No drawbacks.. Yes, one, someone thought it was a good idea to do scented area in the lounge.. Please don't..
Why Service a four.. Reception was quite distant and not friendly at all.
The hotel is good, simple but clean, decent breakfast, comfortable beds. All the team members were very nice and professional except one - Pia, who on a contrary was rude and first greeted us with words “what do you want?”, every time we had any contact with her it was bizarre especially in a comparison to other team members who have been five star employees.
Great place to stay! Big bed, just the view was facing the wall but it’s ok for only one night.
Good design, beautiful lobby bar. Great breakfast for €15,50 - you can buy it on the spot. Location is just amazing, distance walk from all attractions. Pet-friendly, close to a park where you can walk your dog and see city panorama with incredible sunset.
It was all fine. No issues and also nothing special. It was a good price, clean room, decent breakfast, friendly people, good location. Only comment is if you have trouble sleeping avoid getting a room above the hotel entrance as there is a pub across the street that can be loud (and the city workers appear to empty dumpsters at 2am 😕)
