An elegant, timeless property with beautiful rooms, exceptional service from start to finish!
The breakfast was phenomenal, and Athenea took fantastic care of us with incredible hospitality. After exploring the city, the Club Lounge was the ultimate space to unwind and relax. A special thank you to Sara, Andrés, Daniel, Suzanna, and Deyanira—their warmth, professionalism, and incredible service truly made our stay unforgettable.
Every staff member made us feel welcome and valued. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Madrid!
Room is a bit outdated. Pillow too soft. Location is great though. Many good restaurants nearby. Club lounge service is exceptional. The server Deyanira serving breakfast is so friendly, efficient and has especially good memory. She remembers our order details after the first day. Impressive.
Beautiful hotel with highly attentive staff. Fantastic location with lots around the hotel. Staff were amazing and very helpful and polite. Room was lovely with a massive bathroom and great air-conditioning! Breakfast was stunning with all needs catered for. A beautiful experience at the Intercontinental Madrid.
We had a fantastic stay overall. The location is excellent and made it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful throughout our visit.
We stayed in Room 524, which felt a little dated compared to the rest of the hotel, but it was still comfortable. A nice touch was the Byredo toiletries, which added a more luxurious feel.
One of the highlights of our stay was having Club access. The lounge was a great place to relax with a coffee or a drink throughout the day. The happy hour from 5:00 to 7:00 PM was excellent, with a good selection of drinks and hot food included.
A special shoutout to the Club Lounge staff, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality really stood out and made a great experience even better.

The Club Lounge itself was one of our favorite parts of the stay. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the staff consistently provided outstanding hospitality.
The only suggestions I would have are to add more conveniently located power outlets in the rooms, as they were somewhat limited, and to make the room lighting controls a bit more intuitive. The various light switches were confusing to figure out at first.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay at the InterContinental Madrid again. Thank you to the entire team for helping make our trip so memorable!
