Why did I keep getting told off for grabbing sugar from the buffet area. They said the area was closed but it's completely opened up whyyyy and the rooms weren't disgusting but you guys do need to do a better job cleaning them, and there is a green light you can't turn off. Also why does the hot drink machine lockable.
I dont usually review places ok google however this time i just have to Do it,very Disappointing stay and not worth the price,I booked and paid for a double king bed room but was given two separate single beds ,not what I reserved or paid for. The receptionist Beatrice was so rude and unwelcoming from the moment I arrived that I didn't even bother raising it. A 4-star hotel should have staff who make guests feel valued. On top of everything, the price is way too high for a hotel located in the middle of nowhere. Would not recommend.
Check-in went smoothly and quickly. However, when we went to sleep, we found bugs in the bed. Room 127. We were given a new room, which was fine. The bed was great, just check it before you get in. The restaurant is closed. FYI Google does not accept the photos and videos because they do not meet the quality requirements
My experience at Hotel Villa Villaviciosa de Odón was disappointing. 1. The welcome was very poor, with unfriendly staff at check-in. 2. The room we stayed in had a sleeping area located upstairs, and accessing it required climbing stairs, which was very inconvenient. 3. Housekeeping services were not provided for two days during our stay, which is unacceptable. 4. We requested a simple plate and some cutlery – it turned out to be an impossible task. After insisting at the reception, we were finally provided with them, but only for one day. 5. The only positive aspect was the hotel’s good location. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on my experience.
The facilities are above average and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We purposefully chose this location because we were attending a concert nearby but the area was very rundown, like an old warehouse district. I wouldn't recommend the area unless you need to be there for some purpose. The on-site restaurant was a bit overpriced but the food was decent. The breakfast was fantastic! I honestly would have overlooked any mild complaints but we had a terrible experience with the late-night staff. We are a family of six with two older teens, a young teen, and a pre-teen child. We came in very late after a summer concert and wanted to refill our water bottles before going to bed. The complimentary water jug in the front was empty and the woman at the front desk refused to refill it. It was a ridiculously simple request - iced tap water - after being in the hot sun all day and evening, but she adamantly and rudely refused. We ended up filling our bottles with lukewarm water from the bathroom sink, so we were able to quench our thirst, but I’ve never been so pointlessly refused for a basic human necessity. It was incredibly off-putting.
