Hotel Riu Plaza Espana

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolutely phenomenal experience at Riu Hotel Madrid! 🇪🇸✨ From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, informative, and helpful. The service was exceptional, and every detail made our stay feel special. The amenities were impressive, but the rooftop was definitely one of the highlights! The views, atmosphere, and service were simply wonderful. It was an unforgettable experience and a beautiful way to enjoy Madrid from above. 🌇✨ The breakfast was fantastic—so many delicious options, everything was fresh, and there was absolutely no waiting. It was the perfect way to start each day. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations. I would definitely come back and highly recommend Riu Hotel Madrid to anyone visiting the city. The combination of excellent service, beautiful amenities, a spectacular rooftop, and a wonderful location makes this hotel truly special. Thank you for making our stay so memorable! This was our second stay at Riu Plaza and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It is spotlessly clean, well organized, and run with real precision. The location is unbeatable too, right on Plaza España, which is simply stunning. I do want to mention two small issues, especially since this was our second visit and we’re Riu Class members. We booked almost a year in advance and specifically requested a room with two separate beds, since I was traveling with my daughter, but we were given a room with one large bed instead. We had also asked for a high floor and ended up on the 6th. The other issue is about the rooftop, which is genuinely magnificent and one of the reasons the hotel is such a must for visitors. The problem is that non guests are can pay to go up and take photos on the glass platform, which means there’s a constant line late into the evening. As actual hotel guests, we never managed to get up there for even a single photo. Given what you pay to stay here, it would be nice if there was a separate line, or priority access, for guests only…

We really liked the family room in this hotel. It is also very centrally located so you can walk to most places, call a taxi or use the underground. It has a fabulous rooftop and a secure way to use the elevator (you can only reach your own floor). Only, the breakfast can be a bit busy if you go after 9

Very nice hotel with great staff and good opportunities inside the hotel. Rooms very spacious and clean, with refrigerator, locker and AC. Very nice view to the street. The breakfast was fantastic with various opportunities and high quality. The hotel has 2 roof top which are very nice specially at night and they have bar and restaurant there. As a hotel guest you have the priority to use the roof top bar when it is so crowded which was nice. The location is perfect, close to city center by 10, 15 min walk, close to sightseeing and so close to metro and bus stations( metro is exactly in front of the hotel). Highly recommend:)
