On the first night we spent at the hotel, the receptionist gave us a room with a very low ceiling. To be able to enter the bathroom, I had to duck my head, and I actually hit my head when I bumped into it. Not wanting to upset myself or ruin our vacation, I didn't bring it up with them; I simply asked to change the room.
I felt like I was in a trench in that room—a very low ceiling and very small windows.
And when I asked them to change the room, they weren't happy about it.
Beware of this room!
As for the price compared to the services provided, it is not worth it.
Our experience was bad.
Centrally located near all major Madrid sightseeing points, Hotel Liabeny offers modern, clean, spacious rooms at a reasonable price.
A friendly staff and a wonderful restaurant make it a complete package for both vacationers and business travelers. Elegantly appointed bar, and a convenient private parking facility with direct access to the lobby. Liabeny is the complete package. Highly recommended.
A wonderful breakfast experience in Madrid
We really enjoyed our breakfast here. The food was delicious and fresh, but what made the experience especially enjoyable was the lovely atmosphere. The restaurant is beautifully presented, the music was perfect, and it was such a pleasant place to relax and enjoy our morning.
The service was also excellent. The staff were warm, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We felt very well looked after.
It was one of those breakfasts where everything came together perfectly — great food, beautiful surroundings, wonderful music and excellent service. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in Madrid.
Location was amazing, very walkable, closely positioned to the metro stations. Very close to Sol. Rooms were decently sized, very roomy and had a walk in closet. Service was great. Breakfast was delicious and had a gluten free section for bread. There is a cute hotel bar, we order off the menu items. Very accommodating.
I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful 4-star hotel. One of its biggest highlights is the location – it’s very close to the city center, yet it manages to maintain a calm and relaxing atmosphere, which I truly appreciated.
Another standout feature was the comfort of the bed and pillows. Honestly, they were the best I have ever experienced in any hotel – I slept incredibly well every night.
If there is one area that could be improved, it would be the room cleaning schedule. When guests are on vacation, they often prefer to stay in their rooms longer in the morning. It would be great if housekeeping could offer more flexible or maybe later cleaning times to better match guests’ routines.
Overall, a fantastic hotel experience that I would definitely recommend.
