Hotel Ilunion Alcala Norte

ILUNION Alcalá Norte was a really good hotel for my stay in Madrid. It is a 4-star hotel in the San Blas-Canillejas area, relatively close to Madrid-Barajas Airport and also practical for getting toward Chamartín and other parts of the city. What I liked most was the staff, because they were very kind and helpful, especially when we needed a taxi. That made the stay feel much more comfortable and relaxed. The hotel itself felt nice, clean, and pleasant, and I think it offers good value, especially if you are staying in Madrid for several days rather than just one quick night. The location is not central, so that is something to keep in mind, but I actually liked that part of the experience. The neighborhood feels more local, with a different atmosphere from the tourist center, and that made the stay more interesting for me. There are also transport options nearby, so even though you are not in the middle of the city, it is still manageable to move around. I would especially recommend this hotel for longer stays, like around a week, because it feels practical, calmer than the center, and more affordable than many hotels in the main tourist zones. It may not be the best choice if you want to be within walking distance of Madrid’s biggest attractions, but if you do not mind staying in a more local area, it is a very solid option. Overall, I had a positive experience and would recommend it.

Best trip to Madrid i ever had and hotel Ilunion Alcala Norte I have been to was delightful, the food was great the services were amazing. I 100% recommend for anyone else to have their stay here, 10/10 hotel, thank you Robert for helping us during this trip, with love from Romania, see you in the future ! ❤️

The location is a little bit out of the centre of Madrid but can be a quiet retreat from the crowds. The rooms were immaculate, the bed was super comfy and the housekeepers were so attentive. A great place to stay in Madrid.

Stayed here in December 2025. Ok location not far from the airport and was a €25 taxi trip from the airport. McDonald’s, small supermarket and break fast places all within 5 minute walks from each other. Subway station not far away too and rooms quite spacious. Asked the reception for another blanket one evening and they couldn’t give me one due to not having access to the room which they’re stored in… erm what kind of hotel reception doesn’t have access to the storage area? Told us they will note down the room number and give us one the next morning. Did that happen? No. Cleaners have no regard for being quiet when they start work in the morning. Moving chairs and beds on a wooden floor like they are creating the next big pop song.
