Stayed here during November 2025 for 1 week. Breakfast was amazing , specially fruit quality. Evening time groundfloor snacks are also good. Room TV has good into music which starts on entering room, but could not find it anywhere on YouTube. Near by metro station is there, counter staff also very helpful.

Superb hotel. The location is very convenient, with easy access to transport and everything we needed close by. Our room was immaculate, quiet and well equipped, and the bed was really comfortable. What stood out most was the staff: attentive, professional and genuinely welcoming, always ready to help with directions or recommendations. Breakfast was good and the whole place is well maintained. A 5 star experience in every sense. Highly recommended, and we will be back on our next trip to Madrid.
I only stopped by Hotel Elba Madrid Alcalá on a very hot day to have a coffee, so I cannot comment on the hotel overall or on the rooms. That said, my experience at the café was positive. I was served very quickly, the coffee was good, and the staff were friendly. The seating was also comfortable, which was exactly what I needed at that moment. Overall, I cannot say anything negative about my short visit. It was a pleasant and convenient stop.
Do you know the worst experience a guest can have? - A disturbed night's beauty sleep. My family and I changed rooms *twice* in the middle of the night(2-3am) because: The first room had no working air conditioning, and in the second room, there was a hazardous water leak coming from the main bathroom light. To make matters worse, the staff on duty on two different nights showed a noticeable *lack of hospitality.* We had to move all of our luggage ourselves without any assistance, no one asked if we needed help, and no basic refreshments were offered to ease the inconvenience. This experience did not align with the standard of hospitality we anticipated.
I recently stayed at Elba Madrid Alcalá and overall the experience was acceptable, with friendly staff and a good location. However, there were some significant issues that affected our stay. The main problem was the air conditioning. On our first night, the room temperature remained between 26–27°C and would not go any lower, making it very difficult to sleep. The following day, a technician came to inspect the system but was unable to resolve the issue, and the hotel eventually moved us to another room. The temperature in the new room was better, but it still was not as cool as expected, especially considering the summer heat in Madrid. We also noticed that the lobby and common areas felt warmer than they should have been. Another disappointing experience occurred at the café next to the lobby. During my stay, I had already visited the café several times and purchased coffee on multiple occasions. Later, while sitting there to rest, I had my own bottle of water with me and was told by a staff member that I was not allowed to drink it because I had not ordered anything at that moment. I found this approach unnecessarily strict and quite rude, especially as a hotel guest who had already been a paying customer throughout the day. Overall, the hotel was okay, but the air conditioning issues and the handling of the café situation negatively impacted what could otherwise have been a much more comfortable stay.
