Great hotel, great location 5 mins walk from Metro and a short journey into the main Madrid centre. Lots of coffee shops and supermarkets near by and 10 min walk away from the beautiful Retiro Park. Our room was upgraded to premium for free, complementary water and mini bar. Spacious bathroom and comfy beds. The place to be if visiting Madrid
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Madrid Retiro from 3 July 2026 for three nights in Room 307. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the metro station, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bed was, without a doubt, the most comfortable we've ever slept in. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of high-quality options. We would also like to give a special thank you to the wonderful team, who were consistently warm, kind, and attentive throughout our stay. Paloma at Reception was exceptional, and Monica from Housekeeping was equally amazing. They both went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were always happy to help with a smile. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madrid.

I loved the location, as it is close to the city center while still being far enough away to ensure a peaceful and restful night's sleep. The staff were amazing, especially at the reception desk. They were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. The rooms were fantastic—spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable. They were also well-equipped with a kettle and complimentary beverage sachets, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, including eggs, bacon, pastries, and much more. Overall, I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable.
Wonderful experience at check in thanks to Paloma! I was given a lovely room with a balcony. Breakfast was great, with lots of local delicacies to try. Neighborhood was very safe to walk around as a solo female traveler. There is a well-equipped gym in the nearby sister hotel, accessible by an underground tunnel.
Was actually impressed with this hotel. Service was excellent at check in. I stayed 3 nights in room 404 which was a very nice room. It had a queen bed, absolutely massive. The bed does take up most of the floor space, but I didn't mind this at all. The bathroom was very spacious and even had a spacious shower with very decent water pressure and a rainfall shower head. Nice large TV which also has Chromecast, ideal to catch up on YouTube. Everything was clean and tidy. No issues at all.
