Checkin Madrid Mostoles

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. We have stayed there a week with our cat because of the wildfires. They have been really welcoming and gave a sense of home in this complicated time. The receptionists were always plaisant and smiling and the cleaning lady was adorable with our cat. The hotel itself is clean, with AC and well located. There is everything we needed with cleaning service and close to restaurant and shops.

I have never stayed in a 4-star hotel like this before. The rooms were not clean. We were told that there would be water in the minibar/refrigerator, but there was none. The Wi-Fi did not work throughout the night. The room key cards stopped working, and I had to go to reception twice to have them replaced. There was often no one available at the reception desk when assistance was needed. During breakfast, the staff stood nearby with their arms crossed, constantly watching the guests, which made us feel uncomfortable. Overall, it was a very poor experience. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

So, I was in this hotel with a school tour with my daughter. First and foremost, the staff of this hotel went above and beyond for me, and I'm a simple tourist. The first night there, I asked about laundry service. Rajaa, our front desk clerk, literally reached out at that moment and got in contact with the laundry service. They outsourced and my cousin, my daughter and I were in a pinch, because we were leaving two days later, so we didn't have a lot of time. Y'all...this amazingly beautiful soul went above and beyond for us and our laundry! They were SO nice at this hotel. Everyone was amazing! Shortly after this, my cousin and I came down and we ate dinner at the bar! Our server, who was also our bar tender, her name was Anett, chef's kiss, phenomenal. I cannot even BEGIN to explain how amazing everyone in this establishment was for our entire group of 42 people. And the hotel? It was SO nice! The rooms were so clean, and they actually gave washcloths in the bathrooms...(IYKYK). If I could give it three thumbs up, I would do it so quick, you wouldn't even recognize my hands had changed until it was in front of your face. PLEASE, if you are in the Madrid area, do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel. It's less than twenty minutes to the airport, less than an hour to Toledo and honestly, part of what made Spain, one of my favorite spots on our trip. Do yourself a favor. Put your stay in the hands of Rajaa and Anett. They will treat you like family, genuinely. You won't be sorry. Trust. To the owner of Checkin Madrid Mostoles, you have an AMAZING crew, both night and day. I'm a little partial to your night crew because we were with a school trip and were definitely more subjected to your night crew, but all were incredible. That said, please take to heart what incredible people you have in Rajaa and Anett. Personally, I cannot even begin to explain to you how amazingly incredible they were, and I KNOW they aren't just like that with some random no one off the streets. They are like that because that is who they are as people and please know, you have some INCREDIBLE employees. In all, but especially in Rajaa and Anett. Please make sure you share the love with them. Going above and beyond for someone you've never met? That's unheard of. That is what we got. Mad love and respect to Rajaa and Anett: You two hands down made our trip incredible. It's business as usual to you, I'm sure. But for some random American tourist, it was SO MUCH. Even if you don't stay with this establishment, know that wherever you are, if I'm there, I'll ABSOLUTELY book where you are. Legit.

Great service. Super clean rooms. Austere but spacious. Awesome shower and modern bathroom . Atrocious low quality breakfast. Not even real butter but margarine! In Europe. Ok for a night max 2. Too far from Madrid main center.
