All the staff were very nice at this hotel. I was not satisfied with bathroom in our room. The drainage system was pitiful in the bathroom, the whole bathroom filled with water with any length of time with the shower running, even after a staff member came to clean out the drain immediately when we noticed the issue. I also noticed a lot of hair on the bathroom floor & under trash can/toilet brush that was not ours the second we checked into the room. There was even someone’s used floss under the trash can in the bathroom, pretty grossed out from the bathroom scene. Twice in the 20 hours we were in the hotel, the was no one at the front desk to help us. It took 10-20 minutes each time waiting/trying to find staff on the floors to come assist. Overall, I would not return.

This hotel/apartment is perfectly located, offering both convenience and charm. The unit we stayed in was exceptionally spacious and thoughtfully designed for comfort. It featured two bedrooms, each with a king-size bed, and two full bathrooms—ideal for families or groups. The kitchen was compact yet fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, while the open-concept living and dining area provided a cozy space to relax. Each room had its own air conditioning unit, ensuring a comfortable temperature throughout the stay.
I stayed in these apartments with a large party as we were taking part in the Rock n Roll running series. They were in a great location for both the start and finish lines of the race and not too far to walk into the city centre. My husband and I ended up staying another night as we couldn’t leave Madrid as planned as the trains were cancelled due to the black out. We were ever so grateful that we were able to book in for another night when other establishments couldn’t access their online systems to allow us to book in. The apartments are very spacious especially the two bed apartments. Would highly recommend if you are thinking of visiting the city.
Now I understand why since I made the reservation in September, Boutike Cibeles was offering an apartment “upgrade” to another one. They were aware of some of the problems the apartment had, and they still let me stay with my family. The outdated apartment was spacious, and it had a lot of mirror decorations on walls and furniture. One of the pieces of furniture that was cover with glass around it was cracked. As soon as I got into the main bedroom, I realized that the walls were containing mold from the ceiling and the wall, this is without saying the clear appearance of dust bunnies in the corners of both bedrooms. To top it off, I was unable to grab an alive roach that I found in my bedroom floor since it was able to escape through a hole in the wall. I don't consider that the master bathroom was safe at all. You could not go into the bathtub unless you were to hop inside and walk into the faucet. You are unable to come next to the bathtub and open the faucet because you are unable to open the glass door. The sink next to it was not given any space for the glass door to freely open it so you can reach into the faucet before getting into the shower. From day one, I have spoken to the receptionist and told them that through the night I could hear water dripping through the walls. He immediately explained that it was not their fault…that they had a flooding into the apartments and there were waiting for the insurance company to come and fix it. On the second bathroom. You could tell that the edges of the bathtub were filled with mold. They promised you for a soundproofing wall apartment, but you can hear the other tenants walking back and forth in their own apartment all the time. In overall, I have stayed in many booking.com places with my family and for the first time I was totally dissatisfied by this experience.
By Spanish standards, this place is luxury, but by anything else it is quite underwhelming. You pay high price for the central location which is great, but the apartment itself although big, has a basic kitchen, the beds are bot the most comfortable, and the living room is full of old random furniture, some of it not very clean.
