Stayed 5 nights on 9th floor. Quiet, spacious rooms, with comfortable beds. Our request for king size topper was fulfilled in a timely manner. Gym was on smaller side, but due to overall footprint of building, this is understandable. We did observe some small pest issues which we did communicate. The resteraunt on lobby/steet floor was excellent. We ate there on three occasions.
When we first got there we were startled with the entrance, it did not match the quality of the facility, specially the maintenance of the carpeted area, that is the only let down. Location, superb. Staff outstanding; Our stay was great from the beginning to the end. As soon as we got there, Karla in the reception area went out of her way to accommodate our request for a room with balcony, she was attentive and very helpful. the room was spotless. Adrian, the young man that helped with our luggage was very respectful and helpful. The same with Emir, who helped us decipher the safe in the room. The Pool/sauna area was spotless and the staff was very helpful(Francisco and I do not recall the name of the massage therapist but she tried her best to be accommodate our massages but our schedules did not match,still very nice. We must also mention the housekeeping staff, they were flexible and simply great. In the breakfast room, the lady in charge of making the omelets(Elena) was consistently nice, fast, professional and accommodated my wife's special nutritional needs without hesitation, we must mention the team members that cleaned the tables(Trinidad); Jose(?) the bartender in the Lobby's bar was great as well as the young lady that worked with him but in the weekends helped in the restaurant, simply great. We must also mention the Front desk young man with glasses (sorry, forgot the name) extremely helpful!!Sorry about missing out on some names but they all make a great team. We know that next time this is were we will stay, we truly recommend it.
A beautiful hotel with a lovely view—perfect for those who enjoy quiet contemplation. It is conveniently located near the train station and close to key streets. The service is truly excellent; I hope they maintain this high standard. Every single staff member was helpful. The room was lovely, the breakfast offered a great variety, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. They made a thoughtful gesture I have never seen another hotel offer: for travelers departing at dawn (before sunrise), they set up a station with pastries, a coffee machine, juice, and water. They were generous, kind, and classy. Thank you—we will miss you!
Excellent hotel! The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with every question. The rooms are large and spacious, and the housekeeping service is top-notch. The location is unbeatable—right on Plaza España and Gran Vía, within walking distance of all the main attractions. When the staff realized we were celebrating a birthday, they left balloons, champagne, and a plate of sweets in our room. It was such a lovely surprise to receive! We will definitely stay at this hotel again.
Excellent stay at Barceló Torre de Madrid ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I stayed six nights at Barceló Torre de Madrid and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The location is fantastic, right on Plaza de España, with the metro directly in front of the hotel, easy access to taxis, and many restaurants and cafés nearby. Several major attractions are within walking distance, including Gran Vía, the Royal Palace of Madrid, Almudena Cathedral, and the Temple of Debod. It’s also close to beautiful green areas like Parque del Oeste, Jardines de Sabatini, and Casa de Campo. The hotel is perfect for both business travel (my case) and vacation. The Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, the breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of variety and healthy options, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable. My room was spacious and very comfortable, with great blackout curtains, a large bathroom, and an excellent shower with strong hot water. The hotel provides quality amenities (soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner) and leaves a complimentary 1-liter bottle of water every day, which is a nice touch. They also do a daytime room refresh, often leaving a thoughtful good-night note on the bed. The staff truly stands out — extremely kind, attentive, and professional. As a lovely gesture at the end of my stay, they even gave me a complimentary snack with cashews and gummy candies as a thank you. It was delivered by Helena, who greeted me almost every morning at breakfast and was always very welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again whenever I return to Madrid.
