A modern, spacious and very comfortable hotel in the modern area of Madrid. Hotel Barcelo is music themed but does not play loud music. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The concierge staff are fluent in English and everyone is very friendly. There is a pool which is very clean and has a lifeguard and towel person available at all times.

We only stayed one night, but had a very good time and a great experience. Our room was lovely, spacious, and very clean. The aircon worked well, and there were slippers and robes to use. The pool area is amazing with a large pool and ample loungers, and the bar/restaurant just adjacent. The pool service didn’t work via the app and it’s easier to just pop down the few steps to the bar and order there. You can rent instruments to use during your stay which I found super cool. The location is good too with Chamartin station a stone’s throw away. The breakfast was good, but I didn’t find it great. They had a nice selection of gluten-free things though, and also vegan yogurts and plant milk options. Overall, 10/10 stay! I highly recommend and would stay again.
This place is AWESOME! It is a music themed hotel.I had no idea, I just chose it because it was next to the train. There are instruments for the guests to play and while I sat at dinner (very general/standard food) some one started to play the piano and he was really good. Amazing place. Only here for 1 night but glad I chose this place for train convenience.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable, which definitely made the stay enjoyable. Service was solid overall staff were helpful and professional, but it didn’t quite reach the level I would expect from a true 5-star hotel. One thing I appreciated was the unique concept offerings, like being able to rent a Nintendo Switch or even a musical instrument. It adds a fun and creative touch that sets the hotel apart. I also liked the idea of having proper espresso available in the room, which is a nice upgrade from standard coffee setups. That said, while everything was good, nothing really stood out as exceptional. Overall, it’s a comfortable and pleasant stay, but I wouldn’t classify it as outstanding or truly 5-star level.
Great hotel with a cool music theme throughout. The lobby has a giant keyboard that my son enjoyed as well as a grand piano and other features. The staff were excellent and always very helpful, this was especially important due to a last minute change to the dates I was staying at the hotel and they were very helpful in resolving this for me. I had a standard twin room for myself and my son which was clean, a good size and had all of the amenities you would expect as well as some additional nice touches such as toiletries that are not usually provided (tooth paste, Bluetooth connectivity in the bathroom). A useful mini bar and steamer also came in handy. Overall a great hotel that I will almost definitely stay at again when returning to Madrid.
