The experience was very disappointing throughout. Pick-up time was 08:30 but we were left waiting outside our hotel for an hour. Despite my sending messages to the operator at 08:47 and again at 08:58 I received no acknowledgement. I phoned at 09:05 to be told I would be picked in a further 20 minutes. Eventual pick-up was just before 09:30. As a result of the late pick-up our time at some of the experiences was very limited or indeed dropped entirely from the itinerary. For instance, we were allowed 5 minutes at Faja do Rancho Beach and just 20 minutes to explore the majesty of Fanal Forest. One of the advertised stops is "one of the biggest tourist attractions and local spots: The Beautifull Waterfalls and the Luxury Landscapes we have along of the Norte Side of Madeira Island." We didn't go there at all. Despite the late start we were back at our hotel before four o'clock showing that we were the losers on the day. Overall a very poor show by the operators. Think carefully before you book this tour.

This was an outstanding tour in every way! Our fabulous tour guide, Dino, was so interesting and really loves his home here in Maderia! With his guidance and insights, our small group of 5 had plenty of time to enjoy each stop and take in the beauty of this island. Thanks so much, Dino…you were awesome!

Lovely to see the island and driver / guide was really helpful with all the Madeira knowledge so felt very personal Forest was great and I think I would go again there to explore more. Pools were closed but we didn’t mind it was lovely just watching the ocean as you eat lunch . Loads of places to eat at the pools .

Great experience, Dino was a great guide and shared loads of information about the island! We were glad to have two hours in Porto Moniz so we could actually swim there, rather than some other tours where we were concerned we wouldn't really have enough time. Communication good, received a confirmation very soon after booking.

It was a truly special day, the small group experience made it feel very personal, our guide Gino was warm friendly and engaging, he seemed very proud of the island, it’s heritage and traditions and seemed genuinely enthusiastic for us to experience the autonomy and authenticity of his home. Every place we visited he wanted to ensure we got the most out of the time we had. My only regret is we did not book more tours as this was on our last day.

This was our second tour with Dino from Summer Anatomy. The west was such a contrast to the east! Amazing scenery and stop off locations. Porto Moniz and the salt water pools were fun! Once again Dino was an excellent guide with lots of recommendations we wouldn’t otherwise know. Extremely conscious of safety and Dino picked us up from our apartment again. 🙏

Our tour guide Dino was excellent and his knowledge of the island was incredible. Loved Porto Moniz and the pool. We also got some great views at two stops. Would highly recommend to everyone.

It was a lovely day with lots of information history and fun. We had a minivan with people from Wales and Boston and we all got on famously. Dino was our guide and what a character! We saw so much of the west of the island studded with breathtaking views and activities culminating with a fun couple of hours at Porto Muniz. We would throughly recommend this trip to others and Dino, don’t forget THAT rock 😂😆

We had a fantastic day - guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Time allocated for each stop was perfect. One tip would be to bring a rain jacket and suitable footwear for the forest stop. I would highly recommend this tour.

A very successful tour with a great variety of sites, including famous attractions like Fanal Forest and Porto Moniz. What I especially loved were the less touristy spots our guide took us to.

Dino knew lots about the island which was really useful. I enjoyed that we got a lot of free time at each point to explore. Unfortunately for us the weather meant we weren’t able to swim in the pools but otherwise a good tour and safe driving.

Fantastic day from start to finish. Small group of 6 in comfortable transport with dean our guide who was informative, funny and a pleasure to travel with. My personal favourite was the fanal forest(apparently people like to see this in the fog and mist) we had blue sky and beautiful sunshine and it was stunning. Pools at Porto Moniz were very very busy, long queue for paid pools so we opted for the free ones, a bit slippery and rocky but still fun. This trip has stunning scenery you will love it.

This was a Great Value for Money tour. Dino was very talkative and extremely enthusiastic about this beautiful island of Madeira. Would defo book this tour operator again. Great value and saw extra sights along the way, was great that the tour lasted a little longer than planned just for a few life changing mountain top views. Was even better with only four people in the tour..

Booked this trip before arriving in Madeira. Almost cancelled to change to one which picked up at our hotel - so glad we didn't! Our guide, Dino, was very friendly and showed a clear passion for the island and what it has to offer. He shared much local knowledge which if never heard previously, despite having visited the island a few times previously. He kindly walked us to the market and explained the local produce to us and even got us some free tasters! The trip itself had a perfect balance of exploration and relaxation, showcasing the very best of the west side. It was, as promised , a small group - only 5 people - which made it much more special. Would definitely recommend this trip! Dino - Top man!!

I am so pleased that I booked this trip. We saw so many beautiful views and had such amazing experiences. This company is brilliant and very good communication regarding pick up times and place. The tour guide Dino was amazing and added to the experience. His friendliness, courtesy, knowledge and sense of humour was brilliant. The value for money was excellent. Both the tour tour and guide (Dino) were excellent and exactly what we were looking for. It allowed us to explore a large part of the island within a single day, and yet never felt rushed. I particularly liked the Fanal Forrest.

Dino was an excellent tour guide, informative as well as being entertaining. We visited so many places but stopped for just about the right amount of time at each. It was great to get away from busy Funchal into the hills and to see the real Madeira and Dino brought this to life for us all. The air conditioned minibus was a delight and well worth the comfort of this rather than the cramped 4x4s. I would highly recommend the tour as well as Dino as the tour guide.

What an incredible trip we had with the exceptional Dino we travelled the West Side in absolute luxury made unforgettable memories Every minute was precious and we were given so much interesting information about beautiful Maderia and shown many precious gems..absolute 5/ 5 exceptional cant wait to come back and book again

This was such a fun experience! I can’t recommend it enough! We were meant to be with another two people but they cancelled so it ended up being a lovely family friendly, personal tour with the brilliant Dino. He was hilarious and very knowledgeable about the areas we were visiting. He gave us so many tips about the locations including where to eat at Porto Moniz. We really appreciated this. It was such a lovely day for our trip and we had so much time to visit everything. We wouldn’t have been able to visit all of these locations had it not been for the tour. We particularly enjoyed Fanal Forest and Porto Moniz. Our trip was just magical! Thank you very much Dino!

Fantastic West Madeira Tour and the most impressive scenery me and my husband have ever seen. Dino our guide is extremley friendly and an engaging storyteller, knowledgeable and passionate. Dramatic cliffs, Atlantic waters, green mountains, natural lava pools.... etc. We loved the trip so much that we booked the East Tour too😀 This Island is truly the "Pearl of the Atlantic". Highly recommend it.

It was a great day out. Only us and another family in a bus so felt personal and not rushed all the way. Dino's knowledge was outstanding, all the way the stories, history and fun facts were delivered amazingly. Would definitely recommend! Weather was kind to us and no warmer clothing was needed. Any footwear was appropriate as well.

West Side Tour by Dino in small mini bus for total of 7 people. Dino was a really pleasant and knowledgeable guide. We worked our way through the schedule. No rushing / but still plenty of time at each location. We were staying in Funchal and didn't rent a car, so getting out for a day visiting areas we couldn't get to on foot was fantastic. We visited lots of places, including a gorgeous village, Funal Forest and even got to watch a local car rally !!!

Dino was an excellent driver and guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the island, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had more than enough time at each stop to explore, take photos, and do everything we wanted without feeling rushed. Overall, it was a fantastic tour, and we would highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful trip, Dino was our guide and was fabulous, he told us so much information. I loved all our stops and having 2 hours at Porto Moniz was wonderful to swim and have lunch in the middle of the day. The tour was in a minibus which was comfortable and we never felt uncomfortable or too hot. I have nothing negative to say, great tour and good value for money.

Its nice to try it, make sure you have enough time to try swimming in nature pools but it can be so windy and cold water as well.

A very eventful day with Dino! We had a private van for our group and it was great. We had sufficient time at each stop and we never felt rushed. Dino is a safe driver and I’m glad we chose this tour to explore the west/north coast.

Absolutely fantastic experience, our tour guide Dino was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and made the whole experience super smooth and enjoyable. The itinerary and timings we found to be almost perfect, with just enough time dedicated to each stop to get the most out of the tour. Highlight was absolutely Fanal Forest even if the weather was not perfect when we arrived but every stop was worthwhile and we'll be happy to book the Eastern tour next time we visit.

We had a wonderful day. Dino is a great tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about Madeira and very eager to share the history which we were very interested in.

The guide is friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself goes through many different towns and sights that would have been a bit more stressful if we had rented a car and tried to replicate on our own. Narrow roads and busy parking. The local fruit market is a diamond in the rough. We got to sample a tutti frutti passionfruit for the first time and it was delicious. All the sights were gorgeous. It's difficult to take a bad picture in Madeira! Obrigado!

A great way to see and experience the highlights of Madeira's Southwest and North coasts. Multiple stops at incredible vistas, a traditional market, the Fanal Forest, a north shore seaside town for lunch and an optional swim before two stops to view the North Shores highlights (rock formations and waterfalls) along with the famous black sand beach before heading back to Funchal. And our driver Dinarte filled the windshield time with many interesting facts about Madeira's people, the food, agriculture and small interesting facts. Gus small can is extremely comfortable for 8 guests - and very comfortable for the drive back to Funchal at the end of the day. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed this tour and i am happy that we took it on our first day to get a sense of local culture and the island. Our guide was very friendşy and informative, he organised the timing such that we could see all the stops very comfortably. We had efficient amount of time and the stops were beautiful like Fabal Forest, Porto Moniz. We had a very nice lımch ourside ün Porto Moniz, and our guide shared interestüng information with us.

Dino was the very best guide! He had so much knowledge about everything on the island. He treated us like royalty and at the same time made us feel like family! If you can go with Dino you will have the best time!
