Transfer From Achada Do Teixeira To Pico Do Arieiro

Much cheaper option for the transfer. I parked my car at Achada do Teixeira & was the dropped off to the PR1 start. Ride takes about 1 hour. After my hike, my car was waiting for me.

Punctual. Great conversation. Safe driver. The transfer took around one hour and dropped passengers at either the top or bottom car parks.

I booked a transfer with Levadas In & Out from Achadas do Teixeira to Pico do Arieiro, and everything went perfectly. The whole service was very well organised, the team was always very attentive and even sent me messages during the hike to make sure everything was going well. The pick-up times were clearly arranged in advance and everything ran exactly as planned. Really friendly, reliable and professional service. I would definitely recommend!

This was easy and well run. Our driver messaged us before the pickup with the vehicle and exact place of meetup. The drive was an hour and our driver filled the time with lots of interesting stories, facts about the island and language.

We booked this transfer super easy through tripadvisor. Our guide Flavio was very clear in communication: info about pick up place and time were always communicated well in advance through whatsapp. Upon meeting Flavio he greeted us with a big smile! The car was comfortable, he drove very good and took care of all the passengers. And he gave us plenty of Madeira cultural knowledge, the ways of life and tips and tricks for tourists. Top guide!!

Decided spontaneously to make the pico to pico + Achada do teixeira hike (PR1 + PR1.2). As I did not wanted to walk back 4h I checked how to get back easily and found this transfer. Booked in the morning, got the confirmation instantly and ~1h before the pick up I got contacted asked if I started the hike. I got again the pick up location send and a picture of the car which will pick me up. ~5min before start the car arrived, the driver checked the tickets and after 1min we started to drive back to pico do Arieiro which took ~55min. Perfect service!

We booked through getyourguide. Everything went very smoothly. Flexible and reliable. Well priced. Why die doing the pico to pico both ways when you can also choose to enjoy it. When you start the pico to pico at 7 am you can relax and take your time and take the 2 pm transfer

It was really great. Fabio drove very pleasantly, we had a great conversation, he gave us tips and told us a few more things about the island. I would ride with him again immediately. €60 is not a small amount, but we also drove for almost an hour, gas is expensive, he has to drive back, and he also wants to earn something. Ride in itself good, left more than 30 minutes later because 2 people were late.

Overall everything was good, although if the driver had driven more smoothly on an island full of curves and steep climbs, it would have been appreciated.

Very clear instructions for the meeting (WhatsApp contact, sending the Google Maps location + photo of the vehicle). The driver was present at the scheduled time, very courteous and available. The vehicle was spacious (5 passengers) and comfortable. I found the driver's driving remarkably cautious, smooth, and pleasant, despite the many curves on the transfer route. I do not regret choosing this provider for my hike on the PR1 and I recommend it! It is the ideal solution for doing this hike when you already have a rental vehicle elsewhere: parking at Achado do Teixeira, transfer to Pico do Arieiro, hike on the PR1, and finally picking up your vehicle upon arrival at Achado to return to the hotel.

Our driver Fabio drove us quickly and safely to our destination back to the parking lot of Pico do Arieiro. In advance we were informed via Whattsapp about the exact pick-up location and got a photo of the pick-up vehicle, which made things very easy and we would use this service again and again and can recommend it accordingly very well! Especially since the PR1 is currently only released in one direction and you don't have many options for the way back.

Nice ride for a one-way walk over the Pico de Ariero to Pico Ruivo. Continue a short distance and you will reach the Teixeira parking lot. The driver will be waiting for you there at exactly the agreed time. You will receive a message in advance whether you have completed the walk and that the driver is on his way, great experience and definitely recommended!
