A day trip very much worth seeing. Good food and a pleasant pace. Madeira is beautiful, very impressive. The driver was safe, even on the winding road over the mountain. Our German tour guide accompanied us in a friendly manner. Many thanks
Unfortunately, the tour had something of a sales trip with a drill instructor instead of a tour guide. Only a little information about the tour, which then didn't even take place as announced because a rally suddenly took place, and therefore large parts of the route had to be driven twice. Plus the fact that over an hour passed before we had picked up the numerous other guests from the surrounding hotels, and the same again on the way back. For that alone, over 2 hours were lost, which would have been better invested in the tour itself to actually be able to see something at the sights, some of which were completely overcrowded, and not just have to rush through. Definitely not a recommendation for this tour; better to pay a little more and do it with a smaller group size and more individually.
Incorrect pickup location. Were 30 minutes late. Would have preferred to stop in Camara de Lobos instead of Ribeira Brava. I also would have liked to learn more insider knowledge. The German language was very easy to understand. It would be desirable if it were not a large tour bus, but rather a small group. Furthermore, it was announced that we would stop on a mountain. This was not the case.a
Everything was very good and we are very happy with it 🙂
Beautiful and well-organized excursion.
A very nice excursion through a beautiful landscape. Learned some interesting facts and got a good idea of the island. Highly recommended
Very interesting tour! A lot of information and good food
Nice tour, unfortunately the stops are too short to fully enjoy them.
Excursion au top, les pauses n’étaient pas trop longues. La guide expliquait bien
Good guide and good tour, magnificent scenery and little known, pleasant climate
Tour that allows you to see the main sites of the west coast. We would have appreciated a stop in Seixal.
Beautiful excursion with a friendly and perfectly bilingual guide.
Magnificent landscapes and stops at beautiful viewpoints. A big downside for an excursion whose highlight is Porto Moniz. 1h50 stop including 1h10 at the restaurant. A good meal certainly, but very few opportunities for swimming. The restaurant is above the "natural" pools, a 10-minute walk from the developed pools where access is secure. It would have been necessary to offer a "free meal" option. Which would have given the leisure to go quietly to have a snack at one of the terraces bordering the pools, and to enjoy the latter quietly. If I come back, I will no longer take this excursion, I was very disappointed with this point.
Very extensive route. You get a good insight into the landscapes of Madeira. Our tour guide told us a lot about the country's culture. Unfortunately, there was a little too little time at the natural pools to fully enjoy the swimming experience.
Very beautiful sites to visit. Top-notch driver and guide!
Very nice tour 👍🏻 can only be recommended further.
Very nice excursion, saw a lot. The tour guide was excellent, explained a lot and well. The driver was also great.
We were 6 people, which was completely fine; the driver of the jeep, Victor from Canical, was very nice, funny, knowledgeable, and could answer all questions. We had a lot of fun, and the food offered was very good and reasonably priced. I can only recommend this jeep tour.
A very varied trip to the west.
A beautiful day well-paced in terms of visits and stops to take photos of magnificent landscapes! The guide provided us with a lot of information about the island.
Nice route across the west coast.
One was traveling with a large coach. An elderly lady did the tour guide. The audience had an average age of over 70. Some photo spots were approached where you could get off for a few minutes and take photos. Only at two points did one stay longer. In a fishing village where you were directed to a cafe where you can eat cheesecake and at lunchtime. It was explained in German and French. Unfortunately, less about the landscape than more about Madeira in general and this was constantly repeated.
