Wonderful, well organised, respectful to nature and a magical experience. We saw spotted dolphins, pilot whales and flying fish. Our guide was so passionate and knowledgeable.

Everything was perfect and we loved it very much! We saw 4different species (dolphins and whales) and the guide Monica as well as the skipper Nelp were very nice. The boat and the jumps on the waves were so much fun and we even got an extra by driving very close to the cliffs and a cave. Thank you for the amazing experience!

Our guides Melanie and Cristiano made the experience amazing. Melanie had such care with everyone, making sure everyone had a great experience in their native language. We saw three species on the water, including sperm whales! And the adventure of the boat ride was amazing, with the seats very comfortable to ride over any size waves.

Amazing experience, Dolphins were beautiful and the customer service and expertise from Francesca and Cristiano were second to none. Will go again and I highly recommended anyone visiting Madeira to give it a go 100% ❤️

We had an absolutely brilliant time on this tour with Francesca and Christiano Ronaldo! We were lucky enough to see a sperm whale, several different species of dolphins, and pilot whales (the ones that are actually dolphins!). 🐬🐋 The whole experience was fantastic — really informative, great fun, and the speedboat made it even more exciting! The setup was excellent, the seating felt safe and secure, and being on the speedboat meant we could cover so much more ground. Francesca is a great guide and made the whole trip enjoyable from start to finish. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Madeira! ⭐️

Francesca and the captain were fantastic. A really brilliant and fun tour. Only thing is pleased be warned there is no bathroom on the speedboat and you have to go 2 and a half hours without going to the toilet! Not practical or comfortable. I had drunk a lot of water and really needed to go so I was quite distressed.

Fantastic expierience!!! Small boat was perfect, beautiful views, great stuff and of course dolphins where the stars🤗 We saw pilot whale with a little one, spotted dolphins with a few babies and bottelnose dolphins♥️They where so close to the boat, amazing feeling!!! Thank you Francescą and Netio👏

WOW! We changed our original choice of dolphin/whale excursion to this speedboat ride as we wanted to experience the thrill of the journey out and back with the added crashing waves. All I can say was they didn't disappoint on anything. The sea was a little choppy and we elected to sit towards the front...every crash into the waves is compounded in these seats so be prepared! We saw bottle-nosed dolphins immediately once we had arrived at the spot, but then had to return back to the marina as one of the passengers wasn't feeling well. But we were soon back out, and the crew had an alert that there was a large pod of spotted dolphins seen so we headed for them and we were soon in amongst them...and what a show they put on for us!! Can't recommend this highly enough, lots of information along the way about what we were seeing, and every minute of this trip was a thrill. Many thanks to the guide/pilot for a truly unforgettable day.

This was a wonderful 2 hr cruise through the waters of Madeira. Our guide, Francisca, was full of knowledge. She gave us fun facts about the species we were seeing, as well as, about the island itself. And the boat captain, Cristiano, made our ride a smooth as possible . We were able to see a couple of Sperm whales (one was even taking a nap) and several pods of Pilot Whales. Being down at water level allows you a closer look at the marine life. Highly recommend!

The Dolphin & Whale Watching Tour with VENTURA was one of the highlights of our Madeira trip. The boat ride alone was so much fun. Quietly floating next to the whales was a very special experience.

Ater going on a sailing boat earlier in the week and being slightly disappointed with not seeing any dolphins or whales, we opted for this trip,. The speedboat took us further out and straight to a pod of dolphins . They then decided to put on a show for us!...Excellent "driver" and guide...Would recommend this way than the sailing boat or catamaran, as less people and more chance of getting to the the wildlife quickly once spotted from land

Amazing experience, see the animals guaranteed, Francesca was lovely, enthusiastic and she have a lot of knowledge about sea creatures and there behaviour. Andrea as a shipman was great as well. They know ther job and makes this experience super exciting.

Francesca is a great guide, wonderfull trip!

I have done several dferent trips with different operators. This one is specific as it is a rigid dinghy that goes high speed. The 2 hour tour was great and we covered a large distance to a point that I thought we could run out of fuel. We did see dolphins and I could almost touch them because the boat lies very low in the water. Great experience ! For potential candidates, plse consider a few points: A) there is no sun cover so you need to use sunprotection oil B) there is no toilet on board; just to know. C) people with a weak back or a weak stomach I advise: don't do it

Absolutely amazing time. Definitely choose speed boat over the catamaran boats you can zoom along to where the dolphins/whales are. We saw pilot whales pretty quickly and then went along the coast and saw some dolphins too. We also had an added treat and were allowed a dip in the beautifully warm sea below Cabo Girao viewpoint. Also got to have a look at Camara de Lobas. It was very hot but cooler speeding along. Crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. Wear your swimming clothes just in case you get to swim like we did it was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend Venture. .

We expected to simply go out and spot some dolphins and whales, but it turned into so much more than that. You gave us a beautiful tour, shared lots of interesting information, and even gave us the chance to jump into the ocean for a swim by the spectacular steep cliffs and the little beach that can only be reached by boat or cable car. It was a wonderful and amazing adventure. We cut through the waves and got completely soaked. It was so much fun. We also saw three whole pods of dolphins of different species. I 100% recommend it.

This was a brilliant trip! Our guide Francisca and our skipper Nelio were great. We managed to see 3 different types of dolphin and a bonus of flying fish! Francisca was really informative, friendly and funny - we couldn’t have asked for a better guide, and Nelio gave us a really exciting ride as well as knowing exactly where to take us to see dolphins and moving the boat so we all got to have great views. On the trip back to the harbour, Francisca and Nelio also gave us a sightseeing tour which was a real added bonus! We would highly recommend booking this trip with Ventura - it doesn’t disappoint! We chose to go on a rib (Tiger 1) which was perfect for us as some of our group can get seasick but they had no issues on this boat. Francisca advised us where to sit to avoid feeling seasick and she was correct! Fabulous!

Very lucky to see baby pilot whale in their natural surroundings and mainly great to see the guide Francesca and Captain having fun whilst caring for their environment and protection of the animals. Collecting plastic bags on route. A little bit of cornering fun at the end. Good mix of stopping viewing and of a little adventure.

Very kind and prepared guide! The boat is small but nice

From the moment we booked with Matilde, everything was excellent. The whole team was incredibly friendly, professional and attentive, and throughout the experience we always felt completely safe and well looked after. The yellow speedboat was fantastic, fast, exciting and, most importantly, very secure. Sitting in the front row made the experience even more incredible because we could really feel the speed and every turn! The fun manoeuvres out on the sea were absolutely brilliant. Everyone was laughing and having an amazing time. A special mention to Francisca, the biologist and our guide. She was fantastic! She speaks excellent English, clearly knows her subject and was able to explain so much about the marine life we encountered, including the dolphins and other species. She made the whole experience much more interesting with her knowledge, enthusiasm and sense of humour. She was constantly checking that everyone was comfortable, safe and enjoying themselves. And then there was our captain, Ronaldo, yes, the same name as the famous footballer from Madeira! 😄 He was great fun, very professional and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. Together, Francisca and Ronaldo made a brilliant team. The trip itself was spectacular. Seeing Madeira from the sea, with its incredible valleys, cliffs and coastline, was something completely different. They explained the history and geography of the island along the way, including the famous Cabo Girão, and made sure we understood what we were seeing. We went further out into the ocean and then came back along the coast, seeing Madeira from a completely different perspective. And, of course, seeing the dolphins in their natural environment was unforgettable! 🐬 That alone would have made the trip worthwhile. The whole experience, from booking with Matilde, to the time on the boat with Francisca and Ronaldo, and right until we returned, was simply amazing. Everyone was genuinely interested in making sure we were safe, comfortable and having fun. We have done several activities during our holiday in Madeira, and honestly, this boat trip and the zipline were the highlights of our holiday! Location was easy to find, the check in was very quick and efficient. Boats are small but comfortable, felt very safe (life vests are included and mandatory). Our guide, Francisca, was very energetic, knowledgeable and entertaining! The boat ride was very fun - the captain gauged the speed and entertainment by everyone’s reactions, therefore, making in pleasant for everyone. We saw two dolphin species and one whale species - absolutely spectacular! As always one cannot expect wildlife to show up, but the crew knew great spots and with great knowledge came great views! Absolutely recommend! A must experience within the season.

Experiencia NEFASTA! The guide claims to be a biologist, but she's not; she has no idea. The boat captain, a very young guy, seemed to have slept very little or to have been on a boat for the first time. The boat was very uncomfortable, and the captain was completely unfriendly. There are much better options from other nearby companies.

It was a life experience, I haven’t expected to see a whale at all…. I was thinking to see a dolphins and maybe, just maybe a whale… unbelievable. Francisca and the capital were so nice and friendly and she shared so many information about the mammals. I was there with my daughter (16) and my son (6) and they were both speechless after seeing beautiful animals in the wild. Thank you guys so much, definitely recommend 👍👍👍

Our guide, Francisca was brilliant, she told us information on the bryde whale and dolphins we saw and was fun and bubbly. The boat driver Andre was great at getting us to the whale and dolphin sightings quickly making us trip very exciting. Overall, the perfect boat trip.

what I loved about this tour was the energy of the guides! And the animals ofc haha We did not see whales, but we saw different species of dophins very close to us. The captain Andre took us also to check the Garaju bay and did his best to make us see the dophins. The guide Francisca had a lovely energy! She gave us very interesting information about the animals and looked so passionated about the her work that was impossible to not transmit her happiness I would definitely come back!
