Madeira Airport Transfer Anywhere In Funchal From Funchal Airport

My experience with Icon was less than pleasant. At the time of booking with Viator, I had to advise the flight number, arrival time and the hotel for drop off as well as contact info. The arrival transfer was never communicated at any point by Icon that they didn't have the info needed. They only messaged in Viator app at the last minute which we didn't get until much later that they couldn't do the pick up due to no information. Icon didn't reach out on any platform (Viator, text, Whatsapp) before hand to advise they had no information, and when called because they weren't at the airport, they said no info was provided so they didn't show up. For the return transfer, 4-5 messages were never responded to until less than 24 hours prior to scheduled pickup and only when pressed by Viator for them to respond. The first message for the return transfer was initiated 2.5 weeks prior to scheduled pickup. They showed up 20 minutes late the day of the pick up, and then with traffic got to the airport late leaving no time for luggage drop off due to cutoff requirements. This left a mad dash to the plane. Less than pleased by this company's response and service.

Our flight wasn't due in until 22.30 so we needed a tranfer. We had a delay with our flight, but didn't need to worry as our friendly transfer was waiting for us. Great peace of mind to have.

I should have request the company and name to call if there was a promblem ,I walked all over looking for our ride finally after a hour called viator they got ahold of company with a excuse driver was backed up in accident ,Well ,if so why didnt i get a call or text that he would not be there ,after calling i said i want the ride i booked and in a half hour they showed up but, i didnt like i wasnt notified and i walked all over looking for company i didnt know name of to see if someone had my name on there pick up ,

Flight arrived early but no problem smooth pick up good comms and easy to find. Driver was polite and helpful.

Airport transfer cancelled the booking mid flight so we didn’t receive until after we landed. Excuse was they did not have any drivers available.

Was there for us with a sign with our name on it when we came through arrivals, decent comfortable car and ride was about 30mins to our hotel in Funchal.

Our flight was delayed by several hours. However this did not prevent Gregory from providing a 1st class service from airport to accommodation. Polite and well mannered assisted with luggage and advice on local transport. Safe driver. First class service which will result in future bookings.

I would give them more than 5 stars if I could! Both pick ups were on time, and the drivers were polite and efficient, and the cars were comfortable and clean. I had to change one of my bookings several times due to flight changes and the company was very understanding and accommodating. Highly recommend and would definitely book their transfer the next time I am in Madeira. Obrigada! :)

Bit of a delay getting the car at the airport as first car had puncture then was not 1 but 2 car crashes on way to airport. However managed to communicate with company via WhatsApp and they made sure we got another car and onward travel to hotel. I will be booking again for return trip to airport

We booked two separate bookings via Get Your Guide. One to collect from airport the other for our return from the hotel to the airport. Confusion on arrival at the airport in Funchal . We received a message to say we were a no show. But the car had gone to collect us from our hotel which was we arranged for our return journey a week later! After a call and a couple of messages, we got collected from the airport. Nice clean car and friendly driver. Return journey. After our first experience we were a bit apprehensive on whether our pick would happen. We did message the day before and had confirmation that our booking was confirmed. As booked, 08:45 promptly the driver arrived at our hotel. We were fortunate to have the same driver and car as before. Perfect timings as we went straight to check in.

In addition to two airport transfers which were punctual and the drivers helpful and polite, we also did the East Coast tour. This was great value for money and gave us an opportunity to see a wide range of environments - mountain tops, levadas, windswept coastline to name a few - all in the space of a day. Highly recommended company.
