We have been to Madeira many times and have taken a few tours, but today we toured the east side of the Island and saw so many things we hadn’t seen before. Miguel, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. He gave us historical facts about many of the places we visited. We had lunch in a lovely restaurant up in the mountains. We went on a Levada walk, and as a person who suffers chronic pain, I found this walk quite easy to do and I’m so glad I did as it was amazing. The views we experienced on this tour were spectacular. I would highly recommend this tour to anybody whether they’ve been to Madeira before or not. It was worth every penny. If you get Miguel is your tour guide you will be extremely lucky. He was such a lovely person and knew so many things about the island.

We had an amazing day. Miguel was our guide and you could see the pride and knowledge he has of his company. He never made us feel rushed and answered all of our questions.

What a fantastic adventure. Our guide Miguel was very good to explain flora and fauna as well as the history about the places we visited. It was a very good idea to visit the statue of Cristo Rei as the firts place, since it was less crowded. After Levada dos Balcões we had lunch at a restaurant that Miguel recomended. The food was fantastic. Local and original. As a bonus we got to do some off road driving. All in all a perfect day where you get to see and learn a lot of Madeira and spectacular views. Miguel is a great guide and the best driver.

If you want to truly experience a place rather than merely be driven through it, he is someone quite out of the ordinary not a driver, but a companion who opens doors you would never have found alone. He takes you to hidden corners well off the beaten track, threading each stop together with stories that bring the whole island to life. As Krasicki wrote, the world becomes a great theatre, and we its players; travelling with him felt like discovering the island afresh, for the very first time....Really recommended !!!

We booked a second tour with Miguel from Warriors Adventure for the east part of the island, since we enjoyed so much the first tour we did with him on the west side and it was great again! We knows exactly the best spots to stop and the time frame when it's not crowded, we had plenty time to enjoy Pico do Areeiro and an excellent meal at his recommendation. The levada walk was also beautiful and then we were rewarded with some excellent driving skills on some off roads. Miguel gave us 2 beautiful days, he is really knowledgeable, kind, polite and fun!

This was my second time doing a tour with Miguel, and once again, it was absolutely outstanding! Every tour with him has been an amazing experience. The off-roading is so much fun, and you get to see so much of the island’s breathtaking scenery. Miguel is an excellent driver, incredibly friendly, and makes the whole experience unforgettable. We did the full day East tour with Warriors Adventure led by our amazing guide Miguel. He was friendly, very engaging, proactively telling us about the stops but also about customs and life on the island. Highly recommend this side of the island for the dramatic scenery and relaxing vibe. Way better than hiring a car and trying to find the places (&parking!) yourself.

My husband and I did an East of island tour. Miguel picked us up from our hotel and had been in touch before with information and answered any questions we had which was a personal thing to do. I especially recommend Miguel, our guide. Punctual, drove safely, provided good explanations, and was friendly; you can tell he puts heart and soul into it. Miguel was lovely to be with during the day, knowledgeable and planned the day perfectly for us. A great way to discover beautiful parts of the island away from Funchal.

A full day excursion which was thoughtfully organised by Miguel. Highlights included: Cristo Rei garajau viewpoint Pico do Arieiro -Levada dos Balcões walk (with the birds watching at the end, around 1.5km walk, very easy) , after the walk, we had an excellent lunch at a local restaurant. Santana traditional houses Guindaste viewpoint Ponta de São Lourenço (for the end) Would highly recommend Miguel as a guide, he has excellent knowledge of the island having lived there all his life. He has a great sense of humour and his English is excellent.

Full day tour with Miguel which took in Cristo Rei garajau viewpoint (mind the steps!); Pico do Arieiro (unbelievable views); Levada dos Balcões walk; Santana traditional houses; Guindaste viewpoint; and Ponta de São Lourenço. Miguel messaged me within minutes of booking and kept us informed all the way upto the trip. He had lots of ideas and as we were a private trip was happy to suggest and tweak the tour for us nothing was too much trouble. Also did a couple of things I’d never seen on previous eastern maderia tours. When he recommended lunch go with it you won’t be disappointed it was fabulous. This was our 2nd tour in 2 days with Miguel. Weather was on our side once again and we had a fabulous day out exploring the east side of Madeira. From seeing the Cristo Rei statue first thing (to avoid the busy times) to the final view point of Ponta Sao Lourenco, Miguel explained all the key points on the east side of Madeira to us through out the tour. Miguel even added in a rum tasting tour for us at Porto da Cruz (not normally part of this tour) which was greatly appreciated. Being a local, born and raised in Madeira, we could not have got a better guide to show us round Madeira than Miguel. Communication was excellent through out, from collecting us on time to reserving our lunch stops! Nothing was no hassle for Miguel. We will definitely recommend Miguel to our friends who will be visiting Madeira in the summer.

Miguel is an excellent and very thoughtful driver and guide. He appeared promptly and everything was superbly professional. As with everything in Madeira, the weather must be determining and when my initial plan to see sunrise at a Pico proved impossible, Miguel produced a bespoke alternative that was just as good as the first plan! I recommend him to anyone who needs a knowledgeable and convivial driver on the Island.

We had the most fabulous day with Miguel seeing 1 or 2 popular sites we had seen before, more importantly Miguel was aware we wanted to see sites that not many tourists visit and he did not disappoint... the whole experience was superb allowing as much time as we wished at each stop... We had a jeep trip with Warriors Adventure with Miguel as our driver, and what a fabulous time we had. Miguel was knowledgeable of the areas, we loved his passion for nature and the environment, and loved his chat. We went on the Santana trip which we would highly recommend, as it covers so many places.We did a short walk; stopped at stunning view points; had a coffee with cake; bit of off roading; all on an amazing island with so many inspiring views that we wouldn't have seen without Miguel. We were picked up and returned from our hotel which was so convenient.

We did this 4x4 tour with Miguel on our recent trip to Madeira. It was an ideal way to see the beauty of the island as we didn't hire a car. Miguel was a super guide adding insight and interest to the day in a lovely relaxed (and humorous) way. Although we thoroughly enjoyed every stop along the way the highlight for us would have to be Pico Arieiro where the views are just stunning. Another great day out with Miguel. The weather wasnt on our side but we still enjoyed our day hearing about the history of the area, and had plenty of laughs as Miguel tried to teach us a bit of Portuguese. Another year of constant instruction and I'll be fluent :-)) Our day ended on a high note with stunning views, sunshine and plenty of photographic opportunities at Miradouro da Ponta do Rosto, Sao Laurenco. Miguel from Warriors Adventure was an excellent guide, as he took us to Curral das Freiras and up to the top of Pico do Arieiro with its spectacular views. His knowledge of the history of the area was extensive and we'd certainly do another tour with him.

This was my second tour after enjofirst one so much, we was taken around the beautiful Ireland to see the most beautiful sights and views,once again I enjoyed very much and everything explained in perfect English, had probability the best food of my holiday, can't recommend enough.

This was our 2nd trip with Miguel in 2 days. We enjoyed our previous trip so arranged to go with Miguel for the Sunrise at the Pico De Arieiro, followed by the highlights of East Maderia. Miguel was an excelent driver and also a guide. He told us some interesting things about Madeira. He drove us to the East tour of Madeira. We saw beautiful views, Santana houses, beautiful birds of Madeira... and on the other hand it was fun when he drove us off road through the woods. He picked us at our apartment and at the and he drove us back to our Madeiran home. The day spent with Miguel was completly in the real relax and fun mode.

Miguel is a kind and passionate guide, who will tailor the trip to your needs. We began with the viewpoints of Pico do Arieiro, then took the short but lovely levada dos Balcões. After some jeep offroad experience we visited a traditional house in Santana. Lastly, we spent some time at the Ponta Do Rosto. It was a great way to experience the island for all of us - a group of six, age from 11 to 69. We learnt a lot from Miguel - thank you, our friend!
