It was a nice experience, our Guides were funny & chill. Would it recommend to everyone, the snorkeling at the end was awesome!

We really enjoyed the experience and were very well looked after by Alex, who was good fun and gave clear instructions. The area is beautiful and seeing the reserve from the kayak was a great way to experience it. For the organisers - the snorkelling was as important as the kayaking for us - please make sure there are enough decent masks & snorkels for everyone. We really enjoyed it and would recommend this excursion.

Our tour guide Artur was very friendly and helpful! We were the first group of the summer and the gear was clean and very easy to use. Great location and value for money, would recommend to anyone. For the kayaks, just to know, it was two people per kayak so keep in mind of booking for odd numbered groups.

We did the tour today. It was nice, but not worth the price. The guide was very good. Snorkeling was underwhelming as the place did not provide much fauna.

Despite weather meaning the kayaking had to be cancelled the snorkeling portion was still able to go ahead and was very good, with lots of fish etc to see.

Great couple of hours kayaking and snorkelling. Guide was knowledgable and friendly, supportive of all group members. Only minor point is that communication about where to change could have been clearer. But would highly recommend this to others.

We had a great time on our kayak and snorkel trip today. Our guide Artur was great and made the experience fun and relaxed. Our son (12) particularly enjoyed being is his boat as they were a lot faster than us! The snorkelling was fab- so many fish to see. Recommended.

The guide was excellent with my son (aged 10). This was my son’s first time doing any adventure activity and he loved it. We paddled to a smaller cove, spent some time snorkelling and then came back. Would really recommend lokolokomadeira. Thank you

Great experience - the guides were fun and experienced and took a load of great photos of the trip. The kayaking wasn't too difficult and the snorkelling was fantastic - we saw loads of different fish.

We had a fabulous time kayaking in a small group with Ben. Ben was so calm, his instructions were clear and he pointed out lots of fish. Felt very safe and looked after on the water. Would highly recommend.

I had a very good time being on the kayak and snorkeling. The guides (Pascal and Roche) were very friendly and fun. The weather conditions were a bit challenging on the way back, but I felt very safe and got a little workout :) Definitely recommend it. Thanks a lot again.

Good to kayak on the ocean. However, I did not think this is good for someone who has not kayaked before as the guides were in a separate kayak and did not keep an eye on the two kayaks. Had to get their attention when the other couple fell in. No particular instructions on how to row, reverse, turn. Snorkelling was in a deeper area (rather than a shallow beach) so not so good if you don’t swim well but not a bad experience overall. Some info provided on the different types of fish to see. Guides friendly.

Great tour, lovely experience! We were greeted very friendly. Our guide and instructor Ben (Bernardo) was great. He showed us how to kayak, his instructions were christal clear and he took good care of our safety. It was a great adventure overall and the kayak Tour was lovely and good fun. The snorkeling after was way fun and there were many different fish to see, all in a safe area. We highly recommend this tour, with a guide and instructor like Ben, you will surely have a great time!

Our guide Mathilde was very nice. Because of the bad weather (a lot of wind and a rough sea) we had to do a shorter snorkeling and kayaking tour, but it was great. We saw a lot of exotic fish.

We had a great experience first time kayaking and snorkelling. The speed of the tour was matched with the group’s skills, everything was perfectly explained before we got on the water, and our guide told us some interesting local stories. The time was well divided between kayaking and snorkelling. Definitely recommend it.

This morning excursion in the Bay could not have been easier. Tiago our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and entertaining, commanding an impressive fluidity in English. The water was like "oil" as they say in Portuguese, smooth, gentle, and unbelievably calm, making kayaking very easy. Saw lots of fish and observed the rock formations. It was a beatiful morning and my thanks to Tiago for making it so pleasant.

Tiago was our guide and we had a wonderful time! My husband and I loved how easy the location was to find, how Tiago was fun, informative, and safety conscious, and how we had plenty of time to snorkel! If we had more time on our trip I would have booked another day to go again! Definitely a highlight of our delayed honeymoon. Pro tip: bring a GoPro or some sort of underwater camera - we didn’t and wish we had!

It was meant to be three hours kayaking and snorkeling. It was two and half hours, which included a good half hour on launch and recovery. The Kayaks were launched down a ladder, the guide worked hard, perhaps some help from his colleagues would have speeded this up. We were also given a link for photos, none were taken. However there was no extra charge for this. The Snorkel was a dip, and a hard swim to chase the kayaks

We did the kayaking and snorkelling tour and it was a stunning experience - a must-do for your holiday. Our guide Thiago was amazing in being informative about the area, keeping us safe in quite choppy conditions, enabling us freedom to move about in our own pace to the underwater reserve in the kayak and when it came to snorkelling. He was also really bouncy and energetic, making the activity really enjoyable; especially with the end of day sea diving extravaganza in the end. He's full of adrenaline and it rubs off on everyone! As for the snorkelling, the experience was mind-blowing - the water was so blue, warm and crystal clear. You can really capture the fishes along the reefs and rocks nibbling at the rocks - swimming with the fish really tops the experience making it worthwhile in the holiday. To sum up, make sure you book this as a must-do - well worth it!

We went with a nice guide to the location, the kayaking was okay, but the snorkelling was quite short (20 min) and we did not see much fishes or plants. They would take pictures of us but all we got was a picture of 30+ meters away.

Booked via tripadvisor. Instructions for meeting were clear and the company seemed well organised. Our 2 guides were friendly and knowledgeable pointing out sights along the way. Stopping to snorkel was fun and we saw plenty of fish.

We had a fun and easy kayak to a small (rocky) beach plus snorkeling off the beach where we saw some interesting fish. It was relaxing and a nice morning!

This was a great experience. We were given wetsuits and life jackets. We initially went kayaking, which was a bit hard and required a good level of fitness, but it was fun. We stopped several times to go snorkeling, and we spotted several fish. We were also given a gopro to take videos and pictures. Our guide was very helpful and explained to us which fish were present in that part of Madeira and which ones we could possibly encounter. After the kayaking, we went back to shore and were allowed to snorkel there. The fish there are not afraid of humans. The guide threw small chunks of bread at the water, and the fish would come for it. They would swim all around us, and we even managed to touch a few. There were several types in many colours and sizes. We're 100% doing this again when we come back to Madeira.

Great experience lovely guides Bosco and Mario, the kayaking was hard due to current but the snorkelling was great we saw loads of fish. The only downside was the kayak was very uncomfortable

We had a great time. Guide was friendly and the group was of 10 so not too big. We kayaked first and went to see a small waterfall and hugged the coastline. This was not difficult for us, I think anyone with a bit of physical strength can do this no problem and it was beautiful. The snorkeling was also great but for me I couldn't get my breathing right with the snorkel so I came back out after about 10 minutes. There were lots of beautiful fish and my boyfriend saw these. All in all a great little excursion. We followed up with a drink at Peters Poncha, Peter is great I recommend that too.

A must do activity whilst in Madeira. Tour operator was very professional and instructors were knowledgeable and very helpful. Wonderful views of the islands. Highly recommended.

We had a fabulous guide Marcus, for just the 2 of us. It was our first time kayaking on the sea, he was clear, patient and friendly. He made sure we got the most out of our experience. The scenery was spectacular but the snorkelling was out of this world, so many different varieties of fish. There was great communication before we began our tour. I can’t wait to return.

Booked a 9am kayaking tour with our guide Antonio Ramos. He was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna as well as the landmarks surrounding the area. He brought us to another snorkeling spot after our first one only had a few fish. At the second location we saw a huge amount of wildlife. The views above and below the water were exceptional and we thank Antonio for showing us all of it. We will return to Madeira in the future and will definitely be booking with Lokoloko again for more ocean adventures.

we were lucky to have a great guide Antonio all to ourselves. The team at Lokoloko was very flexible in meeting our timetable requirements. The sea was a little choppy but Antonio was reassuring, lent us wetsuits and checked all the gear carefully. He was quite subtle about checking our ability before we set off, but we are experienced kayakers and all was good :) The snorkelling was amazing. we saw so many different species in great abundance at the snorkelling spot. The water was beautifully clear. Antonio had a guide to the different species which was very helpful. He also took brilliant videos for us so we didnt have to take our phones. altogether a very successful trip

Me and my sis booked a last minute kayak &snorkeling activity and so glad we did. Waters were clear blue and beautiful, as you kayak across to one point you have lovely views of the Rocky Mountain structure by the sea. Waters full of life, managed to see a lil jelly fish too.
