AMAZING!!! We had an absolutely amazing time on this jeep safari! 🚙🌿 The landscapes were breathtaking, the views were incredible, and every stop was worth it. Exploring Madeira’s beautiful mountains, lush forests, charming villages, and hidden gems made this experience truly special. Our guide was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and always happy to share interesting facts about the island. The off-road adventure made the tour even more exciting and gave us the opportunity to discover places we would never have found on our own. Everything was well organised, the atmosphere was great, and we felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire day. If you’re visiting Madeira, we highly recommend Madeira Discovery! It’s the perfect way to explore the island, enjoy its natural beauty, and create unforgettable memories. Definitely a 5-star experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We would do it all over again!

Wow! What a fantastic tour. Our guide and driver (Diogo) was very knowlegable and fun. We had plenty of interesting stops and sights to see. The Fanal Forest was a highlight; although raining and foggy, it added to the experience. Just be aware of the little packages left by the cows! The west of Madeira is beautiful. Some of the coastline is quite dramatic with waves crashing hard onto the rocks. I will define back again to tour more of this beautiful island.

John was our driver and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. A marvelous trip for the 3 of us and first time to Madeira. The trip was truly magical and the safari was really exciting and most interesting. We stopped at some amazing locations along the way, including a swim in an awesome spot Porto Moniz. Also Fanal was a really unique location

Francisco was our driver and guide. He took us to some out of the way places. He is very knowledgeable about the island and if you book with this company Francisco is the driver you should ask for. I highly recommend this tour.

We went on a 4x4 tour with Fredi and had the MOST amazing experience! From the very beginning, Fredi was prompt, on time, and immediately made the day so much fun. We had a few other people on the tour with us, and his personality and overall vibe genuinely made the experience a million times better. Even though he hasn’t been a tour driver for very long, you would seriously never know it. He was so knowledgeable and detailed about everything we saw and was able to answer every question we had, even some of our completely random ones! 😂 The best part was that it didn’t even feel like a typical guided tour. It honestly felt like we were being shown around Madeira by a friend who just happened to know everything about the island. We somehow managed to get the best weather at every single stop too! We went to Porto Moniz and had more than enough time to swim, explore, and eat lunch without ever feeling rushed. He also took us through the Fanal Forest and told us all about the trees and the history of the area. We even learned some hilarious and random facts along the way, including just how many things bananas are used for on the island! Fredi made the entire day such a memorable part of our trip. We are already planning to come back to Madeira and would 100% book another tour with him. We’ve also already recommended him to friends who are visiting and told them they HAVE to request Fredi. If you’re thinking about booking a 4x4 tour, do it, and ask for Fredi! You will not regret it!

We had a brilliant time with our tour guide, Diogo. He was very informative and funny and took good care of us throughout. We were picked up at 9am and dropped back at the hotel for 5.30pm, so a full day. Diogo took us to brilliant spots and knew the best vantage points to see the sights and ways to help us get through queues faster. We learned a lot and it was a brilliant way to see more of Madeira than we could ever have managed on our own (some of the roads are very narrow and steep and winding! Diogo managed them brilliantly in his Landrover). We saw Fanal in the eery fog, fed shoo shoo to cows and ducks, saw stunning waterfalls, visited the glass platform viewing station, Porto Moniz for lunch, a stop for authentic poncha....all brilliant. Thank you!

Great day out. Picked up and dropped off from the hotel. Friendly knowledgeable guide. The off road bits are not scary no horrible cliff edges. Nice balance with time not being rushed from point to point. 2 hours in porto moniz for lunch and swimming in the lava pools. You get a flavour of life on the west side of the island.

From start to finish our guide and driver Francisco was excellent (definitely deserves a bonus!). Very knowledgable, considerate, and an incredible driver given some of the roads are a bit hairy! All our stops were well thought out and gave us good time to explore and enjoy. Nothing was too much trouble. We rallied with two other jeeps from the same company for the journey and they were good fun too! Excellent company on the ride, and it was just a fantastic experience and opportunity to see the west of the island. *they also offer to book a buffet in Porto Moniz for you. It’s €21 and directly opposite the volcanic rock pools. I’d say it was worth it for taste, time, and getting in the sea quicker! Definitely recommend sturdy shoes, a coat, and swimwear for this trip. You’ll go through a plethora of weather and terrain but it all adds to the fun. Very grateful for a wonderful day out!

Abandoned us on the other side of the island. Was 1.5 hours late to pick us up. Unfortunately this company can not be trusted. Cost us €125 for a return taxi from where they abandoned us.

Fun and informative day out. Can be a bit windy and chilly at the Fanal Forest so a jacket is a good idea.

We enjoyed seeing such varied landscapes from beach to mountains on this tour! If you suffer from motion sickness, take medication ahead of time as climbing the mountain can be hard even inside the Jeep. Up the mountain can be cooler so bring layers and bring money for your stops not included, snacks, lunch and souvenirs.

Absolutely amazing experience! The Jeep Safari 4x4 West Madeira tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole day fun and relaxed. Francisco was a wonderful tour guide. He was very knowledgeable with answering the many questions coming at him. Appreciated every bit of the tour. We were driven by Francisco on our safari trip to the west side of Madeira. We had a great day . Francisco was friendly , helpful and knowledgeable about the Island . It was a really enjoyable trip. We tried the traditional poncha in a local bar stopped off at several viewpoints and had time to spend at the volcanic pools. Well worth a day out.

We had a great day out despite the weather not being so great, our guide was very knowledgeable and gave just the right level of information and history about your beautiful island. He was punctual and made sure everyone was well looked after and had a great time exploring the west of the island. We were so impressed, we were really please when we found out we had him for our 2nd tour to the east 😀

Monday we did the West side jeep tour with Cristiano as our guide, the group of us 5 tourists got on very well with Cristiano being a very good informative host and driver, the day was fully packed with sight seeing and we finished the day booking the East side tour and to our delight Cristiano the driver and one of the Monday group Sherry joining us also for another great ( but a little wet) day out , Thank you to you all for such 2 great days and to Cristiano who made the days that bit more special All the best Effort and Barrie (Uk) We would highly recommend this company for your travel around Madeira

We had a fabulous day! Cristiano was an excellent guide, ever so patient, full of knowledge about the island, vegetation, culture etc. His driving skills were second to none! Thoroughly enjoyed the trip :)

Christiano was on time , attentive, sharing stories and history of various parts of the island . The off-roading in the 4x4 was very thrilling for my boys . Showed us some beautiful view points through out the tour whilst holding fun and interesting conversations throughout . Highly recommended, will likely visit the east side of the island apon our next visit.

Francisco was incredible! We couldn't have asked for a better tour or a better guide if we tried!!! We had a perfect day with Francisco who was friendly, professional and informative every minute of the trip. When one of the view points was impossible due to the weather, he did not give up and found us another view point that was better for us to see. Everything was done with a smile and kindness. We would not hesitate to use your company again and we would request Francisco especially because he is the best guide we have ever spent a day with. Give him a raise, he deserves it :)

Great day out, took up insanely steep tracks used by the banana farmers, then off up a dirt track. Stopped at loads of sights and for lunch. Driver gave a constant update on what was around and local history. Would recommend
