Amazing scuba diving experience in Madeira! Everything felt safe and well organized from start to finish. The instructor was professional, friendly, and made the whole experience relaxed and fun. Beautiful dive spot, great atmosphere and I felt comfortable throughout the entire dive. Definitely recommend them if you’re looking for scuba diving in Madeira, especially for your first dive. Would absolutely dive with them again!

João has a special gift for making all your fears related to diving vanish in the water and transforming it info a very pleasant, comfortable, meditative experience. It was my first diving attempt and I felt very safe, taken cared for and comfortable. Initially stressed because of my sinking trauma, I didn't want to go out of the water at all. It felt like being taken to João's underwater world as if that was his actual home :). João is very precise, calm, patient, attentive, gives clear instructions and stays by your side to ensure that you are safe and relaxed. If I have a chance to visit Madeira again, I would love to take the diving course with him to explore more of the ocean's gems. Obrigada João! :)

Amazing first diving experience with our instructor João! He explained everything very clearly and made us feel completely safe and comfortable from the beginning. We saw octopuses and lots of different fish, and João shared interesting facts about the marine life we encountered. We’d definitely love to come back, dive deeper, and hopefully see even more next time. Highly recommended!

Great experience although our children (13 and 15) were a little nervous and I think some familiarisation with the equipment in a pool first would have helped them. After a couple of under water panics, they were happier snorkelling and the guides were great in allowing them to do this so they did get value from the trip

Jo is a great instructor. He took me for my bday fun dive and explained everything in a calm nice way because I was anxious about it. We have seen a starfish and a seahorse and plenty of fish. I can fully recommend. His van is full of new safe equipment as well.

I decided for my birthday to have my Try Scuba dive (first ever dive) with João, and it was an amazing experience. I was quite nervous beforehand having done nothing like it, but he explained everything clearly while on land, and created a calm, relaxed, fun environment from the start. We did a few exercises when entering the water, to check how I would do and feel, and then I decided when to start the dive. Throughout the dive, he checked on me regularly and guided me every step of the way, making me feel safe and comfortable and showing me all the goodies underwater. João lives and breathes diving, he loves it, he is amazing at sharing it, and he can adapt the experience to your skills and needs. I knew him already because my partner has done multiple dives and diving courses with him for the past year, and he has always talked about how he feels safe, how well João teaches, and how fun it is, so I knew he would be the best person to overcome this challenge with, to the point that I feel confident to dive again! Thanks to his knowledge, patience and skillset, all I had to do was breathe, fin, and enjoy. Highly recommend, for first-time divers or anyone trying to specialize themselves!

Was mine and my girlfriends first time diving ever, the instructor made us feel completely safe the entire time and just have fun being shown the sea! All the equipment felt pretty new and we didnt feel rushed at all. Our instrutor was simply a good chilled vibe!! Price was below other places we scoped out. He also took some nice videos and photos during the dive that we shared with us on the spot 😊

While vacationing in Madeira, my partner and I decided to try scuba diving for the very first time, and it turned out to be the highlight of our entire trip. We were both quite nervous going in, but our instructor João made all the difference. He gave us a thorough briefing, was incredibly reassuring, and made us feel like we were in the best hands. Once underwater, all the nerves disappeared completely. João put in so much effort to make the experience memorable: he took photos of us underwater, showed us the most beautiful fish and sea stars, and we even got to see a turtle. Each dive was 30 minutes and every second was worth it. It was my first time ever diving and I already know I want to do it again, and I would do it with João without hesitation. If you’re visiting Madeira, I strongly recommend this. Do not miss it!
