I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision in choosing Pousada Sagres for a couple of days of luxury while walking the Fishermen’s Trail. It has everything I need all in one place, without having to walk further for food and beverages. Room is meticulously clean and comfortable and I’m thrilled with the balcony and view of the sea from my room.
The location is excellent with views across the bay. The room was spacious and very comfortable with all essential facilities. The free self-service breakfast was top quality with a wide selection of food for all tastes. We would especially praise the assistance of the hotel staff, the warm welcome on arrival at reception and the work of other staff helping us resolve any questions or minor queries that we had. The hotel is well-positioned for exploring the south-western corner of Portugal and we intend to return again next year to see even more.
Top 10 world hotel experiences. The hotel is in extremelly cozy and silent place with tremendous view. The staff is extrememlly kind and always helping with any type of request. Rooms are big, well equipped. The smell un the building is just amazing. Pool area always have available beds under umbrella tgar is unique for me. I have no idea but the hotel made something so as a guest I feel I am alone there
What a beautiful place to spend time on the Algarve coast. A lot of history associated with this hotel. Amazing views from the elevated cliff location. Rooms are comfortable and clean if a little sparsely decorated. Pool is fantastic, it does get windy but it really keeps the temperature perfect. Hotel restaurant is highly recommended. What sets this hotel apart is the staff Kaio and Luis at the front desk could not have been more helpful in making sure our stay was great. Silvia and everyone in the restaurant provided excellent and professional but not stuffy service. Many others made our stay a pleasurable one, we will definitely be back!
Our trip to Sagres was absolutely fantastic but our stay with Pousada de Sagres was what really made it incredible. The hotel room, the amenities and especially the staff was something like out of a film. The reception staff were incredibly friendly anything you could’ve possibly wanted they would sort it for you. Everything was done quickly and with a genuine smile. We only got breakfast included in our stay but I’m pretty sure there’s an option for all three meals, having said this the breakfast was lush and the staff serving the breakfast were on it from 8-11 everything was fresh and warm and so yummy. We did sit down for one evening meal and the two men serving us were so helpful and kind. My partner and I were joking the entirety of the meal with these two men it was such a great environment. The hotel itself is stunning and the cleanliness is off the charts. Every day people would come in to clean each single room, replace towels, bedsheets whatever we used the previous day and we would come in after a day at the beach to a relaxing clean environment. The hotel even smells fantastic 24/7. Finally I’ll like to mention our pal Kaio, he went above and beyond, he dragged our suitcase back and forth for us, he would greet us everyday, he’d ask if there was anything we needed every time we saw him, We’d always have a joke with him. We saw him at the beach one day when he wasn’t on shift and he went out of his way to say hello. Hes a genuinely nice person and I hope he gets a 100% pay rise. If you’re thinking of booking here, stop thinking and just book it.
