Beautiful hotel located on a Hill with fantastic views. Rooms were okay, the food was great. There is an outdoor and indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym. The hotel is quiet but offers enough facilities to relax after daily hikes.

Ideal if you want a very quiet relaxing holiday. The clientele - mainly middle aged European couples. The rooms- spacious with lovely views. The staff - efficient polite and attentive. The food was plentiful and tasty with a good choice for omnivores, and usually one decent veggie dish available (I'd recommend self catering elsewhere if you're vegan - the larger supermarkets are great for plant based food). There are some gorgeous local walks from the door if you're ok with steep paths but avoid the levada nova trail if you suffer from vertigo!

We found a great deal to stay with Hotel Do Campo, and for what we paid we really felt we got a LOT. Solid breakfast buffet selection, friendly staff, nice balconies, and great amenities! We were not expecting to find a pool table, outdoor and indoor pools, a sauna AND a gym. Plus the restaurant/market up the street is very handy to have so close by. I will say, we booked a sea view room but we're not given one initially and we had to ask to be moved, but weren't moved until half way through our trip. The original room was only sea view if you really leaned over the balcony railing, so I thought that was a bit cheeky. Also there was some discrepancy with our bar tabs and were nearly charged double, but I think it was an honest mistake. All things considered, it's a beautiful place, very clean and well taken care of. Safe, accommodating, quiet, would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food – absolutely delicious, with a great variety and high quality in every meal. Every dish felt carefully prepared and full of flavor. Very spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, and very friendly staff. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Only downside: getting around the city without a car would’ve been tough. So glad we had a rental. Would definitely stay again!
