Wonderful walking tour of Maastricht with Jos. He is a wealth of knowledge and has a great personality. Maastricht is a beautiful town with lots of history, shops, and restaurants.

Gos was an amazing guide and led a very fun and informative city tour. He was able to give us a real feel for the city with interesting stories and a great sense of humor. Gos's orientation in this half-day tour gave us plenty to explore on our own for the rest of the day. Definitely the way to go for first-time visitors.

We came for one day and visited only Sint Pieter. Its definitely worth it!! You dont only get to know about the story of Maastricht, it’s also cool if you have a general interest in history. Our tour guide was Wim, a very funny and chilled guy. So you dont need to be afraid of cold and dark tunnels. Outisde around Sint Pieter you can have a nice walk or have a drink after the tour. Enjoy :)

We went on a trip to underground Zonneberg caves with our guide called "Ruud". He was was a wonderful guide with loads of knowledge and a strong flashlight to keep us from getting lost. Best guide ever 10/10!

Today our guide Jos took us around the Old Town to illustrate important episodes in the city’s history He has a deep knowledge of history and talked and answered questions easily. He was especially welcoming to us, explaining how grateful he is to all the allied soldiers who fought for them against the Nazis in WWll. The town continues to tend their graves.

We had a tour on September 25, 2025. The worst tour we ever had. Waste of money and time. No interesting facts, no history and simple don't care about his job. He has no idea how to present even this poor material he had. Most of the tours we had - was a pleasure and people applaud.

My wife and I took a Viking river boat cruise and had a wonderful guided tour with Jos. He was exceptionally friendly, organized and enjoyable to be with.If you want to enjoy the area with an great local guide seek out Jos.

Gilbert is very knowledgeable and witty guide, he paced the highlights tour very well and the two hous flew by. Occasionally it was difficult to hear everything if we found ourselves at the back of the group however it must be incredibly difficult to make yourself heard in such busy environments. We loved the tour and came across sights we would never have found ourselves. Thank you Gilbert.

Seriously one of the best tours we've ever taken. We took an spur of the moment daytrip to Maastricht and booked this tour last minute. We couldnt have been more impressed. Gilbert was very informative and clearly the man of the town as it seemed he knew someone at each corner! We learned a ton and would recommend this in a heartbeat.

Our guide, Jos, was fantastic. Interesting, very knowledgeable, personable and funny. Jos had a very good variety of knowledge too - not just historical, but also art, culture and personal experience. We did the tour just after we arrived and it was the perfect way to orient us to the city.

I was very lucky to be one of two participants today. Wim our guide was extremely knowledgeable, his English was excellent and easy to understand. He extended our time with him to include some sights that perhaps I would not have seen. He made the day enjoyable and for that I thank Wim very much.

Avoiding the busy shopping streets, Ton did a great job of showing us the historical city centre. His lighthearted sense of humor and interaction with the group made it feel like he was just a local showing us around.

A particularly fun and interesting city walk through the center of Maastricht by enthusiastic and passionate guide Joop. He kept us engaged with his history and stories until the end. A challenge for him and us due to the streaming rain that afternoon. We have seen a lot, more than we thought. Also places visited where you normally don't have direct access. That day was Monument Day, perhaps this played a part.

Entertaining tour with Wim. How nice to be shown the city by a local. His English was wonderfully understandable, he presented in a friendly and humorous way, we thought nothing was boring and we experienced a piece of human history again. Thank you very much!

Super nice walk of 2 hours with a very good and nice guide, Gilbert. We got to points where you wouldn't normally go yourself. The explanation of the guide was also very instructive. If you enter the meeting place in Maps and navigation, you are on the wrong side of the street. You have to be at the Maastricht Shop on the other side

This was a fantastic tour! Our guide Wim clearly has a passion for history and brought all the stories to life. Normally I am not that interested in history, but because of Wim’s explanation about the highlights of Maastricht’s history I immediately started looking for books about the history of the city. The tour was in Dutch. Because we did the tour on the first afternoon of our trip, we could also appreciate the other sights we saw the next few days. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

Members of Neos Heusden-Zolder visited the historic city centre of Maastricht. Jos, our guide, gave us a tour of Maastricht. We discovered the main sights of this beautiful city. Jos was very competent and told hundred out with some humor. Our group was very satisfied with this interesting trip.

It was an entertaining and partly also very amusing city tour with a very sympathetic guide. He has given us insights beyond what has been described. We couldn't have seen that in private.

We stayed with a group about Nickocruises in Maastricht. Jos - our guide - showed us his city with a lot of commitment and passion.
