Although the hotel is conveniently located, our room—situated on the ground floor—was literally next to a parking lot and was quite noisy. Every time a car parked directly in front of our window, it felt as though it was inside the room. Additionally, the breakfast was very disappointing and not worth the nearly €20 price. As a party of two, one of us had a fried egg while the other had a two-egg omelet. We also had a chocolate croissant and a plain croissant, both of which were very dry, along with fruit juice made from concentrate and a rather tasteless cappuccino. There was also some basic bread with the usual assortment of brie, other cheeses, and sausages. Had I known, I would have simply gone elsewhere for a decent breakfast and proper coffee. The staff, however, were helpful and accommodating. Overall, not the best experience.

I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel. The room is clean the amenities are great. Staff speaks multiply languages is very kind and attractive. Always there to help you. They provide all sorts of assistance. There is an elevator. The beds are comfortable. The shower is big and clean. The water pressure is strong. They have a restaurant so you can buy dinner and breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at Bastion Hotel Maastricht. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything needed for a relaxing visit. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. The hotel’s location is convenient, making it easy to explore Maastricht and its surroundings. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which ensured a good night’s sleep. The breakfast was also a highlight, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options.
