Abdo was a great guide. Very insightful and always willing to answer some questions. The tour lasted about 4.5h so plan half a day. Would recommend!

Itinerary
Pick-up from Hotel in Luxor Your private Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your hotel or cruise in Luxor in a modern air-conditioned vehicle. Begin your journey to the legendary West Bank of the Nile, where the great pharaohs built their eternal resting places.
The Valley of the Kings is one of the most important archaeological sites in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hidden in the desert cliffs of Luxor’s West Bank, this royal necropolis was the final resting place of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1550–1070 BC). Here, more than 60 royal tombs have been discovered, belonging to legendary rulers such as Ramses II, Seti I, and Tutankhamun. Each tomb is beautifully decorated with brightly colored wall paintings and inscriptions from the Book of the Dead, designed to guide the king on his journey to the afterlife. A standard entry ticket includes 3 tombs, selected by the authorities on rotation to preserve them. Each tomb offers a unique experience, with corridors, burial chambers, and detailed scenes of gods, pharaohs, and the underworld.
Continue to the stunning Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the most powerful women in ancient Egypt. Built dramatically into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari, the temple is an architectural masterpiece, with terraces, statues, and shrines dedicated to Amun and Hathor. Your guide will explain the story of Hatshepsut’s reign, trade expeditions, and her unique role as a female pharaoh.
Before returning to Luxor, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two towering statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Standing 18 meters high, these monuments once guarded a massive temple complex and today remain iconic symbols of Luxor’s West Bank, after that back to your hotel .

It was truly a wonderful experience. Highly recommended! アフマドはとても良いガイドでした。スムーズにガイドしてくれましたし、知識も豊富でした。各エリアの観光時間もたっぷりととってくれ、よい滞在のアレンジだったと思います。
Amazing experience 10/10 would recommend Abdo was the best tour guide very organised with the ticket
Pick up from our hotel was on time and we were warmly greeted by the guide and driver. The car was spacious and clean. Our guide provided detailed explanations of every temple and tomb we visited giving us very interesting insights into ancient Egyptian religion and the various pharaohs and their relationships with each other. The statues, temple designs and hieroglyphics were all described very clearly, bringing the stories described by the wall paintings to life. A thoroughly enjoyable tour with a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. Note that the temple and tomb visits require a lot of walking and stairs/ramps which are a challenge for persons with reduced mobility.
This was a fantastic experience where we saw all the highlights of Luxor. Abdo was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He provided thorough commentary at every location. Would highly recommend.
Overall,it was an unforgettable experience everything is planned and organised from the time they’ve picked us from the airport. Visiting to the temples and the incredible ancient statues was impressive. Our lovely tour guide Ahmad was knowledgeable, nice and friendly as well to our driver which made our trip memorable.
Mohammad was a great guy. He was very knowledgable and helped us everywhere. He made sure we understand the history of Luxor and Egypt and was very sweet. He was patient and showed us around. 5 star rating for th guide.
Our day at the Valley of the Kings was fantastic thanks to Abdo. He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, funny and makes history truly come to life. He took great photos for us and perfectly balanced guiding with relaxed time for us to wander freely. If you want a professional yet friendly experience Abdo is highly recommended!
Mohammad was a very great and knowledgeable guy. He went above and beyond to help us understand the Egyptian history. He made sure we don’t lose time. He also took us to a very nice perfume shop and help us get one of the best perfumes in Egypt.
Very enjoyable tour with Mohammed - an excellent driver
He was a professional n nice guide, n driver were also, anytime to care me
Abdo was a great guide - he picked us up early at 7:30 AM (and showed up 15 minutes early), gave us history of the locations before entering, helped us with tickets and getting to the front of lines, and was clearly liked by the other tour guides. He was very patient, answered all our questions, and took us to an outdoor rooftop overlooking a tomato field for lunch. We ended up going to Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple, Valley of the Queens, Colossi of Memnon, and Habu’s temple. Habu’s temple and the second tomb in Valley of the Queens were my favorite because of the preservation of the art and less people around. Most of the temples in Valley of the Queens were empty when we went. We got to Valley of the Kings at 8:15ish and it was so packed. Would definitely recommend going right when they open (6 am) or maybe in the afternoon when there are less people. Would recommend going with Abdo!!
Our tour guide Abdo was excellent—very educational and incredibly knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made the experience both informative and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Our group experience with our guide Abdo was incredible! He is quite informative and made our first time in Luxor amazing! He is willing to be flexible, answered all our questions and gave us much more insight about history that we did not know. Highly recommend taking a tour with him, you will not regret it!
Tour was great! Mr. Abdo brought us to Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Valley of the Queens, Colossi of Memnon, and Habu Temple. The Valley of the Kings is extremely crowded, so get there as early as you can. The Valley of the Queens was almost empty in comparison, and had very well preserved paintings. Habu Temple’s is very impressive, and its carvings depict scenes that you don’t see in any other temples or tombs.
This tour was truly one of the highlights of my trip. Everything was smooth and well arranged. Our guide was friendly and shared so much interesting information. I’m really glad we joined this tour. Thank you for the wonderful memories!
Ahmad the guide was very good and helpful. He answered all my questions and didn’t rush me round the tombs. The driver Mohammad was also good, waiting patiently while I looked around.
Excellent experience. Pick up was on time, the car was clean and comfortable with AC and seat belts, and the driver was very nice and knowledgeable. He gave us explanations on the way. Communication was clear and easy. I would book again and highly recommend.
Our excursion to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon was a fantastic experience. Abdo, our Egyptologist guide, was very informative, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The Valley of the Kings is a very popular attraction and was busy on the day we visited. In addition to accessing the three tombs included in the entry ticket, we had pre-booked a visit to King Tut’s tomb. Although small in comparison to the other tombs this was very interesting and includes his mummified remains. On the day we also bought a ticket to see the first and largest tomb of Seti. This was fantastic, although very expensive. Before entering each tomb, Abdo provided some interesting and detailed information about each one. The Hatshepsut Temple is stunning and Abdo expertly guided us around the site. We really enjoyed the whole tour.
We booked our driver Mohammed for a few hours. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the places we went through along the way. He got us to hatshepshut temple and valley of the kings. The car was very clean and his driving skills were very smooth and steady. At some point he got us to a homemade stone factory that had a presentation for us about how they made certain ceramics and crafts and it was really interesting and everyone were really kind and friendly. Our experience with Mohammed was excellent 👌🏼
Abdu was a great guide who was fun and engaging. Having studying Egyptology at university, he was very knowledgeable and made our visit to Luxor sites come alive with his storytelling. A fabulous day for all the family that we will remember for years to come. Thank you Abdu!!
Nice journey with Ahmed, more than a driver he has been a person learning me a lot of things about ancient Egypt.I recomand.
what a good guide and tour set! Abdo who is our tour guide, he cares us so well and all explanations are interasting!! And easy to understood to people who speaks English as their second language.
This is the best tour in Luxor. Abdo is so funny and kind, the driver is really kind also. The cost is reasonable and help from the side so that you don't get hit by scammers. 한국분들이 보고 계시다면 강력하게 추천합니다!
Mohamed provided us with a great service. He was punctual, polite and told us many interesting facts about Luxor and Egypt. Highly recommended!
We came on holiday as a couple to see the Valley of the Kings as part of our bucket list. The day we were provided was a definite 12/10!! Abdo was excellent throughout the whole day’ the sights were beautiful. He explained all of the history to us making it fun and engaging with patience and encouraged us to ask questions. I can’t recommend him enough. I definitely advise him as a guide, although the sights are beautiful, it really makes it extra special having Abdo explain everything to us and retelling the stories of how and why these ancient Egyptian sights and traditions were here. The price was excellent value and the day last around 5 hours start to finish. But it didn’t feel like a drag at all! If you get the chance to go with Abdo. You won’t be disappointed!! :)
Amazing! Truly magical place and such great service from Abdo Very well looked after and enjoyed every second of our trip
Good transport, good communication and good treatment.
Very well guide Abdo. He explained everything we have seen and was always attentive to what we needed. Recommended 100 percent. Please note that it is in English.
A very good day in the company of the guide Ahmad and the driver Husam! Well-organized tour, with a visit to the main historical points. As it is a private tour, the pace is very flexible, according to our preferences. The guide Ahmad explained all the history and curiosities related to the temples. All tickets were already included in the price, only we had to pay separately for lunch and entrance to the tomb of Tutankhamun, which was optional. I recommend this tour!
I was very knowledgeable and very kind, easy to explain and had a great time sightseeing in Luxor. The whole tour was smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend it.
Our tour was excellent Abdo our guide and the chocer who accompanied us did an unbelievable job we recommend 200 percent
He came right to the meeting place, which saved my life. He took me to a stone shop where he showed me various stones. He guided me as I drove. He took me to the Menomoun ruins for free.
We visited the West Bank of Luxor. The sightseeing spot was very crowded, but thanks to driver Mido, we were able to get around smoothly. They also talked about the scenery they could see from inside the car, which was easy to understand.
I had a pleasant time, the driver who accompanied me was attentive to my safety and helpful. I recommend and thank you very much!
Good but still expensive for what it is. 280€ for 4 hours visit and a guide who gives us the explanations before visiting the monuments because it does not come in the tombs or temple with us. We also took this excursion to have a French guide and the day before I was told that it was not possible. Problem in the entrance tickets because the guide takes each time 1 adult ticket for 2 children (cheaper ) so at the controls it was problematic each time and always and again tips asked to pay the driver. Now at this price, it’s up to them to pay their driver not to us in addition! But it’s the country that wants that you always need extensions! After the site is beautiful but at this price we expect better
