Our tour guide was Mr Azab, he was so nice with the kids especially because it was a long tour in a hot weather. We went through all the major sites which were spectacular.

Day 1

This beautiful temple complex is one of the most picturesque in all of Egypt. It sits on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam and you must ride a water taxi to the island to get to the ruins. The temple was moved to its current location following the construction of the High Dam, which threatened to submerge it permanently. The careful reconstruction at the current site carefully completed, painstakingly preserving the original appearance and layout of the complex and even landscaping the island to match its former location.
It is stretched between Aswan and Abu Simbel at Nasser lake, This place contains many monuments built by different kings through different periods, the most famous King was RamsessII of the 19th Dynasty.
Day 2
2
This site south of Aswan along Lake Nasser’s shore is the most famous in all of Egypt after the Giza Pyramids. Built by the greatest of the pharaohs, Ramesses II, these huge rock-cut temples marked the southern boundary of the Egyptian Empire with Nubia at the peak of its power during the New Kingdom. They were meant to convey the power of Egypt’s rulers to anyone who laid eyes upon them.

If you want to experience Egypt with the perfect balance of seamless logistics and deep historical insight, Memphis Tours is the gold standard. From start to finish, the team ensured our trip was professional, educational, and absolutely unforgettable. The Management & Logistics: The coordination behind the scenes was flawless. Zakaria met us at the Aswan airport, welcoming us to the city and giving us an overview of what was to come. His hospitality made us feel like VIPs. The Expert Guides: A tour is only as impactful as the person telling the story, and we were fortunate to have one of the best: Azab Morssy was our phenomenal guide for the cruise and the temples of the south. His knowledge is encyclopedic, yet he makes history feel incredibly "human." He pointed out the fascinating "historical lasagna" of Luxor Temple—showing how it evolved through Egyptian, Greek, Roman, and Islamic eras—and led us through the stunning details of the Valley of the Kings. When the cruise was over and our Ancient History lessons were done, Ahmed escorted us from Luxor to our next stop in Hurghada. He was engaging and told us many things about the area on our drive. He also brought us lunch from one of his favorite Egyptian restaurants. It was absolutely delicious! The Highlights: Memphis Tours curated a truly spectacular itinerary. Standing before the massive scale of Abu Simbel (the ultimate tribute from Ramses II to Nefertari), walking the nearly 2-mile Avenue of the Sphinxes, and seeing the vibrant, preserved colors in Seti I’s tomb were absolute bucket-list moments. We also loved the classic experience of a sunset Felucca sail and the unique Crocodile Museum at Kom Ombo. The Verdict: For anyone planning a trip to Egypt do do a Nile cruise, Memphis Tours is the way to go. Ask for Azab—he won't just show you the ruins; he will bring the stones to life. Thank you to the entire team for an adventure we will never forget!
My friends and I were in Aswan, Abu Simbel and Luxor with Memphis Tours, and absolutely loved it! The sites and all the history was so fascinating, and our experience was made infinitely better by our guide Mohamed Emam - his knowledge of the Egyptian history, the way he delivered all the information (you can tell hes a true enthusiast!), his planning of our itinerary to make sure that we beat the crowds but also avoided the hottest time of the day made all the difference. We were also told by various other guides how lucky we were to have him as our guide! We highly recommend Mohamed and feel so lucky that he was our guide - do ask for him if you ever book a tour in Aswan / Luxor!
The stars are for our amazing tour guide Hazam, our three incredible drivers and for Tripadvisor for getting our full refund. I can’t put into words to describe Abu Simbel. It left me speechless everyone needs to see it. Aswan is a beautiful city I’m grateful they took us there and back. Driver even dropped us at the airport. Make sure this tour is exactly as it says on the itinerary because it weren’t for us. Be careful with what you eat. Lunch was not fresh nor pleasant which resulted into a bigger problem. With such great reviews I trusted this company. I wouldn’t recommend this company’s tour. We had to take our heavy luggage on the boat to the village. It would’ve been smart to check into the hotel first then go to the Nubian village but again poorly organised. Hazam tried his best to help us.
We had Mostafa as our tour guide. He was simply exceptional. Shared very in-depth information about the history of each site we visited, was always available for questions, was always on time. Very very profesional. The trip went exactly as plan to the exception of us picking our own hotel (Movenpick) instead of the Pyramisma (Isis) Hotel. The recommendation is to book the hotel ahead of time. I wish that the tour company provided options to travelers to book their preferred hotel instead. Overall the experience was phenimenal!
Wonderful experience! Where do I start... It was very adventurous and educational among all the beauty of Egypt. My now fiancé (yes he proposed on this trip in front of the pyramids! : ) and his mother and I enjoyed every bit of it. And I tell you without the help and guidance of Memphis tours we would be lost. A few of the guides did stick out: Marwa very attentive and kind educated us well at the museum. She took many pictures of and with us! Mohammed Afifi made sure whatever we needed was taken care of smoothly from getting from place to place and check ins and hotels etc, along with his fun driver Ahmed playing popular music of Egypt during our drives who was always friendly and smiling! Lastly, Hany Refaat! He is a very special person to give all his time early mornings and with great patience. He planned everything to accomadate our group individually and as a whole. As an egyptologist, I can tell he is one of the best. He has shared so much knowledge to our group we can take home to share. Overall, he reconciled any issues we had along the way, educated us, laughed with us, and showed great comradery among the entire group. The crusie ship was amazing including the food, the fun Egyptian night dancing, and the room service attendant surprising us with towel animals : ) please see photos attached explains it all including the photo of Hany we took of him getting some rest. Very thankful, Christine, Jason, and Gladys
Great trip on the upper. Nile on the Sonesta Moon Goddess. Our Egyptologist was Hany Refaat and he made the whole experience coe alive through his knowledge of the histories and characters involved. Hany was more than an Egyptologist - he immediately became part of our group and his friendly humour was part of the experience. He also sorted any issues that arose, very professional and highly recommended. Our group was put together by the company and we were thirteen in total. The group was well-selected and we all quickly became friends. Also, Hany ensured that noone felt left out in the background. This trip with Memphis Tours, Sonesta Moon Goddess and Hany Refaat comes highly recommended!
Abu Simbel is one of iconic places that you should visit if you come to Egypt! Our family trip mainly based in Luxor and we did not have enough time to take the Niles cruise. Therefore, this trip package from Memphis tour fit well with our schedule. The overall experience since we purchased the package from TripAdvisor are excellent. Memphis tour staff is responsive to your questions and request (Thank you Ms. Basma). Their team are well organized in arranging private transportation and all visiting places. Honest with no hidden cost and safety driver along the road. The Egyptologist tour guide, Mr. Ibrahim Hishmat (hema6006@hotmail.com) is knowledgeable and very patient explaining many details to us. We were happy with his service, that we later decided to buy/explore more of other Luxor tour packages from Memphis. Thank you Ibrahim for the tour. This trip is not too hassle if you travel with young kid (our son is 8 yrs old). The comfortable van and stop along the way can let you sleep/rest before the sightseeing visits. Some recommendation from me is to prepare some small égyptien pound (5-30 EGP) for some toilets, better to have your own wet/dry tissue for your own use.
My girlfriend and I went for 12 days in Egypt, and without a doubt the best part of the trip was the 4 days we had in Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan. Besides the beautiful scenery and great accomodation in Steigenberger Legacy boat, the days were filled with great history lessons and guide to the past thanks to our assigned Egyptologist Hany Refaat. We were so lucky to have someone like Hany accompany us. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about the ancient and modern Egypt history. We learned a lot thanks to him. After the busy days we would hang out also in the boat to chat about topics of the day, anything related to modern Egyptian history, or even just chit chat as friends. Great person all around, gives you space to enjoy the place, speaks perfect English, and has a great sense of humor. I would strongly recommend to anyone going to Egypt to do the Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan, and on top of everything insist on having Hany Refaat as your guide. I can't recommend him enough.
After visiting the Pyramids in Cairo, we flew to Luxor and were met by our tour coordinator, Shreef Ammar, at the airport and brought to our cruise ship. The process was completely seamless and we then embarked on tours of both the Karnak and Luxor Temples with our excellent guide, Mohamed Emam. Mohamed then stayed with us for the duration of the cruise, answering all our questions, sharing important historical details, and assisting with other tour excursions. Shreef picked us back up later the first evening and coordinated a great tour of Aswan by horse and carriage. The second day, we did a spectacular hot air balloon ride at sunrise through the Valley of Kings, which I highly recommend. Our balloon captain, Bob, is famous in Egypt, having been featured on National Geographic and did a fantastic job explaining everything we were looking at from above. I also recommend the flight excursion to Abu Simbel, which was much easier than the bus option (which would require waking up very early and a 4 hour trip each way!). Overall, a wonderful experience with an excellent tour agency!
My friend and I had the BEST time on our trip! Our Luxor tour coordinator Shreef Ammar did such an amazing job getting everything ready for us. He rolled with the punches and made everything for us relaxed and fun! Wa’el was our tour guide and was the BEST!! So funny and kind, patient and knowledgeable. Amazing trip!! We also spent our last few days in Cairo with Tarek - incredible tour!!! Tarek was knowledgeable, curious, thoughtful and insightful - a total scholar! Ahmed Mostafa coordinated the Cairo section of our tour and was sooo helpful and awesome. At one point we needed to make a hotel change, he got on it immediately and had us in a new spot before we knew it. So appreciative for everyone who helped us do this once in a lifetime journey!!
We had an amazing trip from Luxor to Aswan and Abu Simbel. Hany, our guide, was a wealth of historical and cultural information. We viewed these sites and left with an appreciation of the architecture and ancient knowledge of the people that built and inhabited these structures. This is a once in a lifetime experience, and our guide really brought the history to life.
Took a nine-day trip booked with Memphis that started in Cairo and ended with a cruise down the Nile and Abu Simbel. The trip was a once in a lifetime trip with my son and went off without any issues. Our guide for the Nile cruise and Abu Simbel was Abdo Esmael. He spoke perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable about all the sites we visited along the way. He was more like traveling with a close friend from the region rather than a hired guide. He helped us every step of the way and gave us a memory that will last forever. Thank You again my friend.
As a child, I wished to visit the great Temple at Abu Simbel. This September I fulfilled my dream on a fantastic one day trip Beginning in the early morning from my Hotel, the Old Cataract in Aswan (highly recommended). My Memphis Tours guide Waleed organized the trip and and we were off. A box breakfast was provided and a few hours later by road, we were there. Waleed, a an expert Egyptologist, guided me through the site and detailed it’s ancient history and recent past. Following Abu Simbel, we return to Aswan and Waleed ( a native of Aswan) showed me the best shops to find the best Egyptian cotton fabrics in all of Aswan. Thanks Waleed and Memphis tours for a wonderful trip.
Egypt part 3 Then there was the final leg of our adventure with Yasser. Even though every one we encountered up to this point was an A+ Yasser was able to make our final leg truly unforgettable. He had a special twinkle and his passion was unyielding. What impressed us most with Yasser was his genuine kindness and pure heart that was so obvious in his spoken and unspoken communication. His love of his country and people was so pure and sincere. The way and mannerisms in which he spoke you could feel the passion he had for life and his fellow man. He only saw good in everything and we all have been so touched by his heart of gold. We distinctly remember him describing the Nubians as some of the most beautiful and kind people that existed . Yasser’s passion with Egyptology was also unmatched. He could talk forever about the history. We all learned so much from him and we all fell in love with this country through his eyes. Yasser spoke from the heart and he blessed us in a way that is hard to describe or explain. To Yasser: You touched each and everyone of us in a special way!! We will keep fond memories of our time with you forever in our hearts. Never change ….your soul is pure and good. Continue to bless people with all you have to offer.
We just returned from our wonderful trip to Egypt! One of those that have been on our bucket lists for a while now and it was absolutely fabulous! Safety was never an issue as the whole country is extremely dialed in and knows it is top of the mind for tourists. This trip was like a dream come true from wandering in the ancient city of Cairo, seeing pyramids/ temples from the past , to seeing just how beautiful the Nile really is as you cruise on by. When we got to Luxor and met our Egyptian tour expert, Amro Ghanem who was the most personable, informative and educational guide we had all week. We all felt like our experience was enriched and we were left craving more history. We left being able to identify some markings in the hieroglyphics! He took us to the spice market where he helped us barter for some of the more precious ones like saffron. We also wanted to sit in a local coffee hot spot and soak up the local flavor and observe a day in the life of an Egyptian which was rather different than sitting in your local Starbucks! There was never a question that you could throw out that Amro did not have a very educated response to, and no question was ever considered an irrelevant one...whew as we asked a ton of questions. We would fully recommend if you are able to get Amro, your trip will be that much more rewarding.
Just back from a Memphis tours 19 day Egyptian holiday. My wife and I started in Luxor and travelled in a mini bus with our guide Ashraf and driver Bahaa. Ashraf is the guide you want as nothing stopped him from getting us the best imaginable tour. Bahaa our driver navigated the roads through all of the towns and village expertly. As crazy as those roads are we made it without a scratch because of Bahaa. Day one we started with an Egyptian breakfast roadside (very tasty) as well we had a hotel box breakfast. Our first temple was Dendara then to Abydos. We spent the night in Minya for an early morning adventure to El Amarna and Beni Hassan tombs. If you want to see Egypt you should start here. It’s a couple of long days but so worth it. Back to Luxor to see Medinet Habu temple, Nobles and Workers tombs, spectacular reliefs another great outing. Balloon ride in Luxor valley at day break, we looked down on Queen Hatshepsut funerary complex. Which we visited in the afternoon along with the valley of the Kings and Queens. Felucca and horse carriage ride in Luxor was a lot fun. With a trip to the market for tea in the evening. Said goodbye to Ashraf and started another adventure out of Luxor. Expectations where high as we had a fantastic experience so far. 4 nights cruise on M/S Salacia from Luxor to Aswan with stops at Edfu and Kom Ombo. Boat was dated is an understatement but it was clean and comfy. Aswan sites and a 3 day stay at the Mövenpick Aswan resort on Elephantine island. Very good accommodation with a balcony view of the first cataract of the Nile. Next onto the M/S Prince Abbas and a Lake Nasser Cruise 4 nights. This is the best boat working on the lake by far. Very enjoyable. Visited Kalabsha, Wadi El Seboua Amada temples on our way to Abu Simbel. By far the pinnacle of the tour. Ahmed from Memphis tours put this all together after we gave him our wish list. He and his crew in the field did a fantastic job and we can’t say enough about it. They were all very professional and thorough. If more than 5 stars is available they deserve it.
We were lucky enough to travel to Egypt Dec 2019 and Jan 2020. This Memphis tour was organized and very well orchestrated. We traveled quickly and easily to every destination, safely and without waiting. The real star of the trip was our guide in Luxor, Aswan, and Abu Simbel, Sayed Selim. Sayed was incredibly knowledgeable about ancient history and gave great detail for every sight we visited. He presented information in a way that kept everyone interested, all while going back and forth between English and Arabic to accommodate everyone in our group. That was truly amazing to watch. Sayed had a great sense of humor and was masterful in creating an atmosphere of "just a group of friends traveling together." We laughed and smiled a lot. People lagged behind, he was gentle and diplomatic to keep the group together. Sayed was always thinking 5 steps ahead so we never waited. I can say that we rarely take tours but if Sayed was our guide, I think we would willingly take tour after tour.
We had a great time visiting Abu Simbal, The tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was a 3 hours to Abu Simbal from Aswan, the bus was on time and it was comfortable.
It's important to have a good guide when doing the historic Luxor and the scenic Aswan. We were ably led by Khaled Mohasab, who articulates English clearly and was flexible to accommodate one member from our group who had walking difficulties. What's more , Khaled was able to explain to us the historical significance of the area and the meaning of different wall inscriptions at the Edfu, Kom Ombo Temples, Valley of the Kings so that we had a memorable visit in Aswan and Luxor . (Our first guide was grumpy, and we couldn't hear his narratives , necessitating a request for change ). He was also tasked to lead a group of 20people till our group members complained , requesting to be split to 2 groups.
Just came back from 5 days in Cairo/Nile cruise. As a place to visit fantastic. But we had a couple of specific disappointments/concerns with Memphis Tours team and organization. The first was somewhat comic, but was really a safety issue. Our tour guide had gotten off early in the day to take a three ladies on a private tour. The plan being he would rejoin us in Luxor for our group tour. There were delays at the docks, so for speed the ship docked early and people would be bused to Luxor. There was no coordination between the other Memhis reps to organize a bus for our group. when the boat docked at this earlier spot, were told there'll be a bus. Then we walked away from the boat, only to be told by one Memphis guide - 'sorry you cant come on our bus, there'll be another'. There was clearly space on that bus. So we were left standing on our own on the road side. Then another bus did come, but then a second Memphis guide, said we could come with his group. So once again, left on the road side somewhere along the Nile. At this point we actually ran back to boat, but it had already pulled away. So much shouting and waving, it came back for us. So somewhat comic, but really a safety issue. Not sure what we would have done if the boat had been beyond shouting distance. The second incident was more unpleasant. We were initially assigned to a very large group - approx. 30 people, our tour leader was Mohammed Sultan. Before setting out for another tour we went to where the tour guides usually assembled on the ship (the lounge area) and gathered their groups together before disembarking. We didn't see our guide or group. But nonetheless followed the mass of people getting off. We did spot a few from our group as the mass of people walked to temple. When we got to the temple, we took Mohammed to one side and told him were disappointed that he hadn't waited for us on the dock as if he did have a briefing session, we weren't at it. There was no, I am sorry about that. Instead he challenged what my wife and I had said, by asking the broader group to tell us that there had been a meeting. Obviously, very uncomfortable to have a tour leader trying to rally the rest of the group to 'put us in our place'. So very very unpleasant and bizarre behavior from a tour guide. Otherwise, Memphis did what was expected. Our tour guide, Ramy in Cairo was knowledgeable and engaging. Please don't be put of Egypt. I just personally couldnt recommend Memphis Tours given these two incidents.
Don't waste time looking for other tour companies and just book with Memphis Tours. Definitely worth spending more for the best tour of your life!! Very special thanks to Mostafa Gad Elkarim as he was an amazing tour guide!
My friend and I just returned from a Memphis Tours two weeks in Egypt and Jordan and I must sing the praises of one of our local guides. All of the guides were excellent but Abdo was truly top tier. Funny and engaging, informed and informative, Abdo made the Aswan/Luxor/Abu Simbel and Nile Cruise portion of our trip truly memorable. Yalla habibi, Abdo!!
We want to thank Memphis Tours from the bottom of our hearts for the excellent organization of this trip. From the very first moment, both the team in Spain and the one in Luxor were always looking out for us, resolving any question or need with speed, warmth, and professionalism. The cruise aboard the Steigenberger was a true wonder: excellent facilities, impeccable service, and an unforgettable experience sailing along the Nile. But, without a doubt, the person who made this trip truly special was our guide, Nagi Abunaga. His professionalism, approachability, and passion for the history of Egypt made the difference. He managed to make every visit fascinating thanks to his explanations, which were always clear, interesting, and full of enthusiasm. Furthermore, he looked after us at all times, ready to help us with any need, always with a smile. Beyond being an extraordinary guide, Nagi is a great person. It is clear that he has a huge heart, that he enjoys his work, and that he is committed to ensuring every traveler has a unique experience. Thanks to him, we not only saw the most impressive parts of Egypt, but we also felt right at home. Thank you, Nagi Abunaga, for making this trip a memory that we will always carry with us. Without a doubt, we recommend Memphis Tours 100% and hope to cross paths with you again someday.
Super professional service; the agent Esraa was always clear and knowledgeable about the services she was offering, always clarifying doubts and providing the best options. The entire itinerary was managed as established. The guides, drivers, and hotels all provided excellent and respectful service. Everyone made my trip to Egypt and Jordan exceptional. Definitely recommended 100%. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Booked cruise from Luxor to Aswan on the Internet through the site cruisesulnilo.com. We found out once we arrived that it is a brokerage agency that prepares, depending on the arrival and departure time of the flight of each individual customer, a personalized program of visits managed by Memphis. All good in the booking phase but terrible in practice. We were greeted by a Memphis operator who simply accompanied us on the boat and collected the balance but was completely unaware that in the afternoon the program included a visit to the Temple of Luxor which so jumped. The next morning the guides who spoke fluent Italian showed up but, although friendly and helpful, they were devoid of an actual cultural training and, above all, they were not Memphis employees but simple escorts hired by day and completely unaware of the program of visits provided for each individual customer for the simple fact that Menphis (or cruisesulnilo.com) had not provided it to them. As a result, skipped excursions or even forgotten tourists on the ship with guides left in disarray to face the complaints of tourists without the support of the presence of a Memphis operator that we had the pleasure of seeing again only on the day of departure. The ship (Hapi V) was dignified but modest with dated and resigned furnishings, certainly not five stars as cruisesulnilo.com had peddled (sending truthful photos but from which frankly the real conditions we had not perceived) and similar, even for the food service, to the ferries of linea.Internet for a fee (moreover often not working) as well as natural water during meals.Acceptable cabins but nothing more. In essence, an organization that is questionable to say the least with guides forced to do even the work not within their competence and probably remunerated more by tips from customers than by the compensation paid to them by Memphis. Absolutely not recommended.
Beautiful cognitive experience in Egitto.Ci enjoyed everything from food to Welcoming and kindness of all the staff. Special thanks to Suliman Habibi our guide who was able to explain with passion the history of ancient Egypt.
Journey through the secrets of ancient Egypt lulled by the waves of the Nile. The Dahabeya experience was magical. Four days in which everything was perfect: the welcome, the food, the rooms and all the spaces of the boat, always very nice and elegant. There is no better way to discover the temples and tombs of the past. Everything is perfectly organized, you just have to let it guide you. Special thanks to our guide who made the cruise unique and allowed us to get to know the Egyptian people a little better: Moaz, a fantastic person, very prepared, not intrusive and always ready to help us!
For 4 days we have done a fantastic cruise on the Nile, from Luxor to Aswan, visiting the main sights with our Guide Juan Elgizawy, a very friendly, very attentive and very trained person on the History and culture of your country. He has accompanied us and made us enjoy every moment and every place. Real luxury.
This year we decided to visit Egypt and on the cruise from Luxor to Aswan we were accompanied by John (Yehia El-Gizawy) a Guide who helped us throughout the journey, telling excellent stories in all the temples. You can tell he likes what he does.
We were with my family on a Memphis Tours cruise from Luxor to Aswan, the Guide had been highly recommended by friends and that was the best hit! Yehia Juan El Gizawy was a wonderful Guide, he tells the story with a lot of passion and has a lot of knowledge! We went with my young daughter and he made her feel like the Queen of the Nile, and he made her thrilling story! Highly recommended the tour and highly recommended to ask that it be Yehia who does the tour! In the cairo we also traveled with Memphis and Ahmed Kassab was excellent, showed us the city was always watching us made all the necessary adjustments! 10 out of 10 to be two wonderful people!
With my parents we toured Abu Simbel. Yehia Juan El Gizawy our guide, was super friendly and cordial. He explained many interesting things, solved our doubts and was very patient with us. Thank you Juan!
We had the tour with Yehia Juan El Gizawy, amazing guide, learned a lot and enjoyed a lot. Recommended! Also, very good facilities on the cruise, buses and vans for tours.
Since we arrived in Cairo we had excellent attention from the whole team. We did the cruise from Luxor to Aswan, all very organized stops, excellent service. Our guide John (Yehia El Gizaey) helped us in everything, excellent stories in all the temples. Overall, wonderful vacation!
Great experience with a great guide, Juan Gizawy, with clear and interesting explanations. The times dedicated to each place were very adequate. He promised to give us a great experience and fulfilled it
It was a very good experience, everything was great, the guide Yehia El Gezawy made the whole trip very enjoyable, he has a great passion for what he explains and always has the answer to what you ask.
An unforgettable experience all the trip very good enjoy very much the visits to the different temples in addition to the good disposition of the guide yehia el Gezawy q is also excellent photographer and very friendly. The only thing that I would ask for them to improve is the most salacia cruise since it is very old and they sell it to you for a luxury cruise and when you see the other cruises you realize that the luxury salacia has nothing is the only thing that I do not like. Otherwise it was fine.
Abu simbel and Aswan are simply wonderful places for both their history and aesthetic beauty. The guide was extremely warm and their explanations were clear and interesting, Yahya is 100% recommended to make this amazing tour.
We arranged a stay with Memphis tour.We traveled with our 10 year olds. Abu Simbel, Aswan, Luxor on cruise and then stay in Hurgada. We just have wonderful words for the organization and the guys who followed us! Noura from Cairo: kind and always available to any of our requests. Ali our wonderful cruise guide: prepared, reliable and always with a smile for us and our children. We highly recommend it. Cinzia and family
Beautiful day in a place not to be missed. Drivers and guide very helpful and good. Recommended excursion (even if the trip is very long)
I found them online, it was a pleasant surprise. It is better to buy everything with eloa including arrival tickets. Without thinking excellent agency. (monitagigi@hotmail.com) Colombia
We made a trip through Egypt, passing through Cairo and following to Luxor where we started a cruise tour through the Nile, where we met other Brazilians who followed us on this wonderful tour. We visited several places always accompanied by our guide Mahmoud Afify. No words to describe the affection and efficiency of our guide, a young Cover, rich in knowledge and competence. It transformed our trip into a family trip, with the right to many laughs, birthday parties, character dances etc... Mahmoud left us miss this land rich in history and beauty, but what more, the grandness of his Cover!! Note 1000 for him!! We also thank the Memphis tour agency who was very efficient serving us whenever questions arose by email or Whatsapp. We recommend!
Service is great. They're in every detail. Special mention for the guide while on the cruise ship: Mohamed Awad, punctual, respectful, passionate and committed in his account of each lugár, and also works magic: he solves your problems and makes your wishes come true.
Memphis Tours is a super organized and competent Enterprise. All the planning of the trip was done by conversations via WhatsApp or email with Representative Ahmed who speaks an excellent Portuguese; his responses were quick and objective, always ready to comment and help, without being insistent. As for the price: I searched three Brazilian agencies and Memphis was the most attractive in value, services and tours. The receptive in the Egyptian cities wonderful and efficient; begins before landing and immigration; fantastic! The transfer to our hotel in Cairo: in addition to the great driver and exclusive car, was with Abdul, young and kind also of the receptive - we joked with him saying that his name in Portuguese meant “the one who does not sleep”. Our guide in the city of Cairo, was the experienced Farouk! Very, very good! I wish we had more time at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo to deepen our knowledge of ancient Egypt and its riches. We boarded by plane to Luxor, exclusive transfer in a car with air conditioning and very comfortable; from Luxor, we followed to the harbour and sailed four nights through the Nile in a top ship, with super comfortable accommodation, meals of variety for all tastes. And during this tour we had the best experience with a guide on the trip: Ahmed was the best guide I've ever known of almost 50 countries I've ever visited: cordial, well-humored and serious at the same time, kind, super knowledgeable of Egyptian history, ancient and current! Our tour was very enriching with the knowledge through it! Super recommend! Speaks Portuguese better than many Brazilians! He made all the difference!!! On our last day in the south of the country , we would fly from Aswan to Cairo and we would have a long wait at the airport before boarding off ; we earned half a hotel day so we could rest and not have many hours waiting at the airport until boarding off to the country 's capital . It was a great kindness! Two suggestions I make to Memphis: another type of transportation to Abul Simbel: it was a little hot on the bus we went and uncomfortable; And the most important suggestion : outside of Egypt, not delegate to another company the tour that they provide in Jordan - is another company, not Memphis. The Service is good but leaves nothing to be desired, it's not up to Memphis, especially when you need feedback to the questions with the local manager, I didn't answer any of the two times I had to talk to him - friso: it's not Memphis Tours, it's a local Enterprise from Jordan; the hotels were excellent but in the capital Jordan, it was very, but very far from the airport. I super recommend and in the future I hope to return to splendid Egypt with the Memphis Tours!
We trusted Memphis Tours, and Sama Tarek, the organization of the itinerary and everything went great on the MS Esplanade cruise: well the cabins and the food. We even met people who speak Spanish with whom we share pleasant moments. But best of all was the guide of our habibi Mohamed Awad: knowledgeable, kind and dedicated from the heart to his work and to helping us in everything.
It was an excellent tour, very well organized, very good boat. Best of all was Mohamed Awad, our guide around Aswan, Luxor and elsewhere. He knows a lot and has an excellent activity, very attentive, very warm, very punctual. I definitely recommend Memphis Tour and if you can ask Mohamed to guide you. Plus he speaks Spanish very well.
