Tour To The East &West Bank Of The Nile Visiting Luxor-karnak-hatshepsut Temples

We coordinated the trip with Ezzat of Sun Pyramid Tours, who was very helpful and provided great communication. We were picked up at our hotel and taken to Cairo station for an over night train to Luxor. The guide stayed with us to ensure we boarded the correct train. We were collected at Luxor station and taken on a personal guided tour. The transportation on both sides of the train ride was very comfortable although the overnight train ( nothing to do with sun pyramid tours) was best described as an “experience” ( get lots of sleep before the rides and check other reviews of the journey to prepare yourself). The tour day around the Luxor sites was excellent and our guide, Adel was brilliant, both translating hieroglyphics and telling the history and stories behind the monuments made it unforgettable. He was entertaining and welcoming. Lunch was included and very good. We were then dropped off back to the station for the return trip, again accompanied until the train arrived, then collected by welcoming sun pyramid tours staff back in Cairo and dropped off at the hotel. An excellent family trip and would recommend Sun Pyramid Tours to anyone wants to have a personal and professional tour service.

We had an amazing 2 day trip all girls trip with Sun Pyramids. Our guide Islam was very informative with interesting story telling skills. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip at our own pace. Overall very professional, on time and excellent service by Sun Pyramids. We highly recommend them and will definitely use their services for other tours in Egypt.

Me and my friend spent a very nice day in and around Luxor with the Sun Pyramids Tour. Right in the morning we went on a hot air sunrise balloon ride over the West Bank of Luxor. The ballon ride - timing, route and time in the air, ... all was perfect. The ballon itself as well as the pilot made a very good and professional impression. Afterwards, me and my friend went on a private excursion to Dendera and Abydos and back to Luxor. The trip was very well and professionally organized - from the safe private transfer with a nice driver and a very clean car to an excellent guide Mansour, who had an incredibly deep knowledge and spoke very good English, to the great program with a tasty lunch - everything worked out perfectly. We also found it very positive that we never felt stressed and that we had enough time for both temples both for excellent and detailled guided tours and for free exploration, even though the day was full of a program (as we requested). Highly recommended!

I did the West Bank (Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple) & evening Karnak light show tour. Enjoyed it all, worth it, lunch was good. My history guide Samah was excellent, knows the sites very well, helped make it come alive. I did a second day tour with her also, to Edfu & Kom Ombo tenples in Southern Nile Valley, also recommended. Sun Pyramids are pros, been doing this a long time, not the cheapest but not a ripoff either.

I like sun pyramids agency, they gave me an amazing tour guide for 2 days who I loved. Her name is Samah Ahmed and she was incredible. She has so much knowledge about Egypt. We went to the Valley of the Kings to see the tombs of Ramses I, Ramses IV and Ramses IX, Colossi of Memnon, Temple of Hatshepsut, and Luxor temple all in 1 day. Luxor weather is really harsh compared to Cairo and the sun hit much harder but Samah helped a lot. Every time there was a line to go anywhere, Samah told me and my girlfriend to sit in the shade while she stood on line. That was an incredible gesture, I saw many tour guides just sitting on the side while tourists were in line but Samah sparred me the sun. There was a long car ride to Denbara Temple on the 2nd day with her and she spoke to us explaining everything we saw along the way. Samah was very patient and polite when answering all my questions about Egyptian history and culture. I am in the United States and information here is not always reliable but Samah was helped me understand the people of Egypt and their culture. I booked Sun Pyramids for a sleeper train from Cairo to Luxor, and they confirmed everything with me beforehand. The train ride, the taxi pickup to and from my hotel in Cairo and Luxor. The best part is the guide they chose for me. When I return to Egypt in the future I will choose Samah and Sun Pyramids again. I will recommend Sun Pyramids to anyone traveling to Egypt.

I did a 2 days trip to all important sites in Luxor, besides a baloon and a floka rides, all these with amazing guides, that knew history very well. Always on time and provided a customized expirience for me that was solo!

Mahomed the guide and Mohmoud the driver was great. Mahomed was knowledgeable of Luxor and showed me many sites from Karnak to the valley of kings. I learned so much about the ancient pharaohs. It was a real pleasure.

I purchased the package where you fly from Cairo and have a full day private tour of Luxor. The day in Luxor was the highlight of my trip. My tour guide’s name was Eslam. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He showed me the entire city of Luxor and I felt like everything was done in a time frame that truly allowed me to soak everything in. The Valley of the Kings was breathtaking and I still cannot the magnificence of what I witnessed while there. If you purchased a tour in Luxor I would definitely recommend requesting Eslam.

The tour was great! We got to see the different temples. Zakarya was amazing and really knew the history. Lots of steps.

A Big shout out to our Guide "Ghada" !!!! She and her driver were on time to take us to the tour. Very clean and nice car with comfortable drive. Ghada was very lovely lady with immense knowledge about history of luxor. We had wonderful time with her. Kids also enjoyed with her. She comforted us in every possible way. Highly recommend sun pyramids and our guide Ghadah.

Absolutely had one of the most perfect day in my life in a private tour through the East and West Nile. A full packed day that started at 7:30 and finished around 17:00 pm with my guide Ghada and driver Mahmoud. The went on and beyond to make this trip enjoyable for me. Ghada is very knowledgeable and took time to answer my questions and it never felt rushed. Mamhoud always opening the door for me and made sure i felt comfortable while in the car. I highly recommend this tour and is a must while traveling through Egypt.

I chose to have a private tour guide and I was blessed with both Mohammed (both in the pictures). They made sure I was comfortable, they explained and taught me more than than what you would get in a group tour and even catered to get me to a good place to get souvenirs and gold trinkets for myself. They were well informed with the history and culture of the the city and the details, they were most impressive. They also knew how to go around the crowds (given it was hot) but I was able to get pictures of the sites as if I was alone! Hamada the host, Ghada the tour guide and Mahmoud the driver were excellent people to have for our short one day tour through the West Bank and east bank. Luxor is a nice escape from the chaotic Cairo and Giza. The driver got us to every site safely and in good time. Ghada was very knowledgeable about her tour. Hamada had a way to explain things to make everyone feel comfortable in what was going to be done that day and stayed on schedule. Would definitely do it again. Thanks everyone.

Excellent tour covering the east and west banks. Our guide Mohamed Refaat and driver Mahmoued Ragheb took us to the west banks first to see Hatshepsut temple and the valley of the kings. Mohamed was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful with choosing which tombs to enter, considering my father's limitations with steps/slopes. After stopping for lunch we toured Luxor and Karnak temples. There again Mohamed's knowledge shines, as he pointed out and explained many unique features among the carved columns and walls. Many thanks to Mohamed and our driver Mahmoued, who was extremely courteous and helpful as well.

I asked for a tour of the West Bank of Luxor. Mina, a male guide from Luxor, gave us a tour in Japanese. The explanation is very easy to understand and I think it is essential if you are coming to Luxor. The West Bank tour was very satisfying, and the next day I asked for a quick tour of Karnak temple.

Luxor was just incredibly beautiful. The many great temples with the great hieroglyphics. Of course, the Valley of the Kings with its burial chambers, where the colours were so intense, was very impressive. My guide explained everything perfectly to me, especially the many hieroglyphics and that you can see the history of the pharaohs at the temples. I got time to look at everything and take lots of great pictures. The tour was super well planned and I got to see everything I wanted. I can only recommend it to anyone to do such a tour with such a great guide.

We very much enjoyed this excursion. The visits were very interesting. We ate in a typical restaurant, the cuisine was delicious.
