We are a small family of 3 from London who chose a bespoke private tour - we had the most amazing time. Daniel provided seamless service with knowledgeable & professional tour guides -Michael at Luxor, Mohammad at Edfu, Meena at Aswan, Ahmed & Mohammad at Cairo. He helped in organising a surprise 50th birthday celebration, ensured we had an amazing Nile cruise & a fabulous stay in Cairo & good transfers & Meet & greet throughout. He understood our unsaid needs & delighted us. We return home with some fond memories whilst also getting a chance to see how the local people live.

We had the most amazing trip visiting all of the must see sites from Luxor all the way down to Abu Simbel! We were extremely impressed with the professional level of organization from EZ Tour Egypt. They arranged to have us picked up from Hurghada and took us to a hotel that we booked personally for a few nights before our Nile River cruise. Once we got to Luxor we met up with our fantastic guide, Michael Micheal. Michael is extremely passionate about ancient Egyptian history and took his time at every site making sure to explain everything to us and going out of his way to show us extra things that I feel a lot of people miss. He took tons of pictures of us the whole time and would even take us on errands if we wanted snack or supplies for the hotel. Everyone we met during our trip were so nice and welcoming to us. We really feel like we made some friends along the way and couldn’t be happier. The crew on the Acamar, the cruise ship, were also extremely accommodating. When the family next to our room was being too loud, the manager offered to move us to another room and it made our trip so much better. I can’t say enough good things about our experience in Egypt. It has been a trip of a lifetime!
Our private tour from Hurghada to Luxor, organized by Daniel and guided by Abanoub Jacob in Spanish, was truly unforgettable. Every detail, from the comfortable transfers and luxury Nile cruise to the perfectly planned visits to temples, hot air balloon ride, and authentic Nubian experience, was handled with care and professionalism. Daniel coordinated everything flawlessly, while Abanoub ensured we didn’t miss a single detail and made us feel at home throughout – highly recommended for a seamless, memorable Egyptian adventure.
We really enjoyed the seven-day Nile Cruise. Everything was very well organised. We would like to thank our Guide Daniel for the great Time and his Expertise. He answered every Question with detailed information. He showed us Egypt and taught us to love it even more. Highly recommended. Best regards from Germany! Frank & Tanja
Daniel is a person that we can trust for the organisation and quality. He was proposing good deal. The most important, is was taking in consideration comment to make correction during our stay. I am living in egypt since 3 years and it's not easy to find trustfull person. I recommand Daniel warmly Thanks for everything
Daniel from EZ Tours is probably the nicest and best tour guide in the world. My daughter and I sailed down part of the Nile in a beautiful dahabyia craft. Arrange by Daniel. It was perfect: the places to see, the food and the information/history in every respect the tour was just right unfussed calm and lots of fun. Luxor was fascinating. Daniel is totally trust worthy kind and generous. Hel showed us around Cairo the pyramids, the Sphinx, the tombs, museums and some very special place I wanted to see. My message to all is, do it, sail it, walk it and leave it to Daniel and EZ Tours to get it right.
Our tour with Ahmed was an absolute delight! Navigating through the wonders of Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo, and Abu Simbel with him was an enriching experience. Ahmed's deep knowledge of the historical sites, combined with his enthusiasm, made the journey not just educational but truly enjoyable. Grateful for the insightful tour and Ahmed's excellent guidance!
Omar was our tour guide in Luxor and Aswan, he was very knowledgeable and explained everything very well. He was funny which made the experience more enjoyable. He put the people in the group in different characters of the story and explained which made it even more fun and interesting even for the kids. I would strongly recommends Omar as a tour guide to anyone visiting those places in Egypt.
Last October, our family, hailing from the hustle of NYC, had a memorable journey with EZ Tour Egypt, cruising the Nile from Luxor to Aswan aboard the Dahabya. Our parents and us, found ourselves immersed in an experience that transcended the ordinary. The Dahabya exuded elegance and comfort, creating a perfect haven for relaxation and exploration. EZ Tour Egypt's meticulous attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the luxurious accommodations to the attentive staff on board. The cruise seamlessly blended cultural enrichment with leisure, accommodating the diverse interests of both generations within our family. The knowledgeable guides Sameh, and Dina, enriched our journey with insights into the historical wonders along the Nile. It was more than a vacation; it was a shared exploration that strengthened familial bonds. The crew's personalized touch made us feel like more than just passengers – we were guests on a curated adventure. Kudos to EZ Tour Egypt and especially Daniel for orchestrating an unforgettable experience. For families seeking a blend of sophistication, cultural immersion, and familial connection, this Nile cruise is an absolute gem. Thank you, EZ Tour, for crafting a journey that will remain etched in our family's collective memory for years to come.
Our itinerary was seamless - we always had guides ready at a variety of locations. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We really enjoyed our 3 days spent with David (who has exactly the right combination of knowledge and humor), as well as shorter visits with Peter, Mina, and Dina. David and Dina also went out of the way for some logistical errands/purchases we needed or were interested in. We also appreciated that there were no "shopping traps" - we were always asked in advance if we'd like to go shopping for various items. Overall, we would recommend without hesitation.
Abu Simbel was unforgetable. Just amazing. Like the rest of the trip. Experience to remember. Definitely a trip to recommend.
We went between Xmas and NYE. Overall Great trip, flexible planning, very well-suited for families. Daniel was very response and helpful throughout the trip. Would highly recommend.
Overall, we had an amazing trip! We had two guides: Daniel for Luxor and Abraham for other cities. Daniel was very patient and helped organize our two-day stay in Luxor so that we can enjoy everything there. He made sure that we have enough time to take pictures and also helped take some for us. The other one, Abraham explains things very vividly and passionately. Abu Simbel Temple is really amazing and we even see mirage on our way there. We are very happy that they respect what we want to do and adjust the time schedule for us. This makes our journey so memorable! For the Nile cruise, they provide different buffets for each lunch and dinner. The views on the sun desk is amazing during sunset and sunrise. Make sure you don’t miss that. :)
It has been a very exclusive time on board of the Viceroy. Daniel, our tour guide, gave us a good idea about the culture of Egypt. So many things to see in seven days, just perfect. Daniel, we will be back!!!!!!!
It was one of the best trips I ever had ! Daniel is the coolest and the best trip guide I ever saw 😍😊.
We had an amazing 5 day Nile Cruise and visits all thanks to the great planning of Daniel. We had a great time. Daniel was with us during all the way taking a good care of us. He is a great person and an excellent professional. We totally recommend Daniel and EZ Tours
We enjoyed so much the Nile Cruise, our guide during the whole trip was an excellent guide Mr. Abanoud Jacob, he made us to travel through the time to the ancient Egypt with his detailed stories in spanish and showing us the best and most interesting places, and showing us also the best views of the Nile and ancient temples, he took us to visit a very picturesque Nubian Village, and there we enjoyed a delicious tipical Nubian meal. We enjoyed the very beautiful and fancy cruise ship the "Chateau Lafayette" although not very new but in very good shape, enjoyed delicious international and egyptians meals, also some spectacles, and with his big terrace and swiming pool. In fact, it was a "Magic Cruise ship". Francisco Munoz
Daniel spent a cruise on the Nile between Luxor and Aswan. Several visits then including Abu Simbel, Aswan dam, Abydos, Denderah. Then took us back to Luxor.
Daniel was very organized from the get go, there was so much to see and he arranged everything seamlessly from start to finish with 3 different guides across the route, all with excellent knowledge of the history of ancient Egypt. We will be recommending him enthusiastically to anyone who asks because of his professionalism and his competitive pricing! ;) (the hot air balloon ride is an “extra” but it should not be missed)
We took the Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor and had a great time both cruising at the ship and visiting the iconic temples and monuments along the way. Daniel was of great help from the get go and the comfortable transfers and guided tours at each stop made for a very relaxed vacation for me and my wife. Abu Simbel was one of our favourite stops followed by Luxor, Karnak, Philae, Kom Ombo and Edfu. The meals at the cruise were great but one has to get used to the habit of tipping. But as an experience its unique, holistic and ultimately very rewarding.
We had an very nice trip from Luxor to Aswan. The food was very good and the room as well.the staff were very politie.we also visited allot of places with such a nice guid. We had good information from the places and temples we’ve been. couldn’t asked for more. We definitely recommend this cruise!
We had a wonderful 4 night cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Daniel our awesome tour guide who showed us all the Temples in Luxor, Edfu and Aswan. We enjoy alot with EZ Tour Egypt so we highly recommended it for any one wanna come to Egypt.
Fantastic experience. Everything was organized to perfection, with great attention to detail and to our needs. A special thanks to Daniel, who proved to be always kind, helpful, and present throughout the trip. His professionalism and his attention made us feel looked after and relaxed at every moment. Very punctual transfers, very well-prepared guides, and unparalleled kindness. It was a beautiful experience, made even more pleasant by an impeccable organization. We definitely recommend this agency to those who wish to experience a worry-free and well-organized trip. Heartfelt thanks to Daniel and the whole team!
It was a great tour, I highly recommend it.
We had a truly fantastic experience with EZ Tour Egypt! The entire trip was organized with great professionalism and attention, from the transfers to the excursions and the Nile cruise. A special thanks to Daniel, always available, precise, and attentive to our needs. We felt followed and assisted at every moment. Highly recommended! Thank you for making our trip to Egypt even more special!
The dream of the Nile – and what remains of it Personal account of a Nile cruise A Nile cruise is considered a quiet journey through history and culture. My personal experience was different. This report is intended to provide information – especially on aspects that are hardly mentioned in many travel descriptions. I'm not writing here to dramatize or deter. It's because transparency is important. ________________________________________ Expectation and Reality I had imagined the Nile calm and timeless. Instead, there was often heavy, standing air above the water. Cruise ships were sometimes several ships lying close together, many with permanently running engines. The smell of diesel and exhaust gases was omnipresent, a grey veil often hung over the river, and oil films were visible on the surface of the water in places. ________________________________________ Continuous operation on the river The large number of ships upstream and downstream was striking. The deep hum of the diesel engines accompanied the day and often the night. Fresh air was rare even on the sundeck. When the cabin door was opened, exhaust gases poured in and settled in the clothes and cabin. ________________________________________ Three days in Aswan I found the situation in Aswan particularly stressful. There we lay for three days at a time. The ships were close together in the harbour, the air barely moved, the smell of diesel was permanently present. Looking at Aswan, there was a visible cloud of exhaust gas above. There were hardly any alternatives: Closed cabin doors meant heat or air conditioning, while opened ones carried exhaust gases into the cabin. ________________________________________ Physical reactions The cruise lasted 7 days, already after three I experienced persistent headaches, breathing difficulties, later also nausea and exhaustion. Sleep brought little rest, as smells and engine noise remained present even at night. It became clear to me that it was not a short-term inconvenience. ________________________________________ Conclusion A Nile cruise is not automatically the quiet, decelerated journey it is often advertised as. In its present form, it is associated in many places with permanent engine operation, exhaust gases and environmental pollution, which can also have a health effect. The Nile is an extraordinary river with a great history. That is precisely why it seems important to speak openly about the less romantic aspects. Anyone planning such a trip should be aware of this in order to make a conscious decision.
I recommend this trip to anyone who can do it. On the boat very comfortable cabins, the great dining room with beautiful windows, the enjoyable pool on the top floor, and the food was excellent.
Karam accompanied us on our tour – a Nile cruise from Luxor to Abu Simbel and back – and made it an experience that I and my family will never forget. Unbelievable what Karam has achieved: a perfect symbiosis between adventure and history, excursion and relaxation. Every moment was filled with so much passion and knowledge that we still feed on it today. Thank you Karam for choosing this profession – it’s so much more than just a job for you, you can feel it every moment! We have never met a tour guide who, with so much dedication and enthusiasm, makes everything possible for his group to convey the beauty, culture and history of Egypt so vividly. His expertise is simply incredible – whether it’s German history, botany in the gardens, animals and plants or, of course, Egypt with its hieroglyphics and millennia-old stories: Karam knows, explains it, lives it! We can only thank you from the bottom of our hearts and look forward to seeing you again – connected in thoughts and memories. Family Kaczmarczyk 07.07-14.07.25
Week from Thursday 10th with return April 17th on the motorboat Jaz Crown Jubilee. As Italian speaking guide we had Mr. Monti who lived up to expectations x competence and availability towards all guests of the group. Cleanliness of the room, dining room and all common areas was impeccable. The food was varied and with self service everyone could choose their favorite food special attention x the intolerant was present at breakfast milk without lactose and both at lunch and dinner foods x people with this problematica.la negative note was the Wi-Fi that almost never worked
Beautiful cruise with Nile Serenity. We had a well-appointed and spacious Royal Suite with balcony and a crew unlike any other in kindness, humor and care. Every wish was read from our eyes and especially Adel has grown very close to our hearts. Our tour guide Medi made the cruise an unforgettable experience with his perfect German, excellent knowledge and humor. Also we were lucky enough to spend the evenings with all the particularly nice and funny people. Highly recommended!
Our tour guide, Karam Shahat, not only brought the pharaohs back to life, but also, through his enormous knowledge and humanity, brought us closer to his beautiful homeland and its people. Thank you very much for that.
very nice trip, interesting, informative, well organized by Daniel, he looked after our tour group to the fullest satisfaction, we saw and learned a lot and had a lot of fun..... Recommendation !!!
Great Nile cruise with Daniel. He has a very good knowledge of all the sights and there were quite a few. He said it was friendly and attentive to the entire tour group. All excursions went without any problems. If we come to Egypt again, I would book him again immediately.
It was a great trip(we were 3 generations 23,57, and 87 years) and Daniel our guide is just super good 😊: well organized, he knows not only to visit the fantastic sights at the right times, but also tells you their impressive story. Besides, he is a real local patriot who brings a country and people closer. We are already in discussion for the next tour with him 😉
A really nice tour with a great travel companion. He always stood by us with advice and deed.
Daniel was very responsive and organized the trip we wanted. He answered all our questions and questions, heard from us every day! The cruise was superb and our guide, Yohana, was really great. Everything was very well organized, from our arrival at the airport to our departure. Thank you Daniel and his team!
Trust her! We found Daniel on Tripadvisor and the contact was immediately excellent. Daniel met all our expectations, first in Cairo then from Luxor to Aswan on a cruise to finish in Luxor with a hot air balloon flight. He took care of everything from A to Z with Francophone guide throughout our stay. Validation can be scary because it only takes a deposit and the balance is paid in cash on arrival in Luxor but this is their way of working. We speak very good English and have already traveled a lot, I strongly advise you to take this kind of person who will take care of everything because it is not easy to travel to Egypt and arrange all the tours. Anyway, thank you.
