We visit the rock hewn mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. After the death of her husband, Thutmose II, Hatshepsut took the reign as either co-regent with or self-proclaimed Pharaoh instead of Thutmose III. Either way, she was a skillful warrior and strong ruler re-establishing trade routes with foreign countries. Prove of her successes and accomplishments are written on the walls of her memorial Temple at Deir El-Bahari.
You will visit the old necropolis of ancient Thebes on the West Bank of Luxor. We will take you to the spectacular Valley of the Kings, where up to now, 63 tombs have been found varying from a one chamber crypt (KV54) to a tomb with 120 chambers (KV5). You will be able to visit 3 tombs with the entrance ticket. The tombs of Tutankhamen and Seti I require separate tickets (not included).
To conclude the trip, we stop at the base of the magnificent Colossi of Memnon, two immense statues guarding the ongoing excavation of the palace of Amenophis III. The statues are actually likenesses of Pharaoh Amenophis III. Memnon was a hero of the Trojan wars, said to be the son of Eos, Goddess of Dawn. Because of an earthquake in 27BC, one of the statues was damaged and due to forces of nature, was said to "whistle" or "sing" at dawn.

Didn’t include all the places agreed upon, driver charged extra for more places even though tour was already very expensive. The ‘alabaster factory’ with only Chinese imports was free but the stuff sold there very expensive, it was too clear driver would get a commission. Wanted to take me to another factory but didn’t want that, afterwards everything had to go very fast and the tour was over after only 6 hours instead of the promised 8 hours, wouldn’t do it again with this company, wouldn’t recommend it to anyone
Ahmed arranged a fantastic 3 days for us. We arrived at the hotel and he was very welcoming and helpful and listened to our wish list and came through very quickly.
Had a great experience with Mahmoud (Osni). I was with my elderly mother and he helped explain everything in detail and helped her through our first tour to Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. I went ahead and booked with him for the full day West Bank tour, the Edfu & Kom Ombo Temple tours, the Aswan City tour, and the Abu Simbel Temples tour. That's 5 tours/5 days. That's how great he was. He helped us through more than half our trip. We had a great experience.

Mr Kemal from Blue Heaven Travel took exceptional care of us. He arranged for currency exchange and a private car to take us to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut and the legendary tombs. We had an amazing day and experience in Egypt visiting Valley of the Kings and all the temples. Kamal was great recommending the best of them and giving us all the info and insides!
Nice guided tour by car from the hotel to the Valley of the Kings, the Valley of the Queen and two statues. We had a guide (Ahmed) who was with us all the way and told a lot and answered questions. We were inside three tomb chambers and Ahmed was very knowledgeable and welcoming. He was also with us out to have lunch at the West Bank after finishing the tour and showed us a cosy local restaurant. As with several other such tours, we were also driven by a place where you are expected to buy souvenirs.
On Ahmed's advice we booked a vehicle with driver for the visit of 3 sites departing from our hotel. This day went very well, the driver was very friendly and described to us the different landscapes we encountered on the way to the 1st site: the Valley of Kings. We had all our time to visit each site. The second was the temple of Hashempsut and the last the colossus of Memnon. I highly recommend Blue Heaven Travel for the impeccable organization, its completely correct price and the follow-up after the day of visit.
