Let me write a short review for one of my Egypt tour guides. So, I visited tour to Edful and Qom. And if you are that person who likes adventure, then you would like this. Otherwise, pretty sure you won't. I got picked up last minute, super earlier than I was expected. But the person did tell me that that was going to happen. So the person who picked me up was a 19-year-old, super reckless driver. I mean, he's a 19-year-old. Um, didn't understand what I was saying or asking because he didn't speak English. He only took me to very expensive, um, places. And the whole thing was a scam. Except the tour to the temple. So once we got to the temple, I met the tour for that temple. Especially the tour, the best tour that I've ever had in the whole trip with Mahmood

Itinerary
Early morning ''I Like Egypt Tours'' representative will pick you up to enjoy air balloon riding. Transfer to marine enjoy Soft drinks before you take the motorboat to the west bank, then you will be transferred to the take-off area of a balloon ride in the sky of the biggest open-air museum( Luxor ). The "Balloon Ride" trip departs every day, however, confirmation in advance is still highly recommended. The balloon ride takes 45 minutes, before your land again. Discover Luxor’s East Bank and West Bank on a full-day, private tour that gives you the flexibility to explore each destination at your own pace. Then will End your day by the Sunset enjoying Felucca Sailing boat Nile River ride for an hour.
After the Balloon Ride out tour guide will meet you and picks you up at the location of Colossi of Memnon to start your Luxor Full Day Tour. The Colossi of Memnon, the two largest ancient statues in Egypt, which date back to the era of King Amenhotep III.
Then you will be transported to the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. This ancient necropolis is a must-see for Luxor travelers. There you visit four royal tombs, including the Tomb of Ramses, the Tomb of Horemheb, the Tomb of Merenptah .Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor.
Tomb of King Ramesses lX was the third pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. His name prior to assuming the crown was Amonhirkhopshef. He was the fifth son of Ramesses III and was appointed to the position of the crown prince by the twenty-second year of his father's reign when all four of his elder brothers predeceased his promotion to the crown prince. The tomb has so much colour and details even the ceiling above the sarcophagi with its goddess Nut stretching across space. The sarcophagus is one of the largest in the valley, even though some of the paintings have deteriorated this is one of the most decorated.
In Egyptian mythology, Ptah is the demiurge of Memphis, god of craftsmen and architects. In the or simply in its falcon form of the new deity, it began to be placed in tombs to accompany and protect the dead on their journey to the West of Luxor. Tomb 8, which is located in the Valley of the Kings, was the burial place of the Pharaoh Merneptah and is the model of royal tombs Merneptah was a son of Ramesses II and Queen Isis-Nofret.the tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in 1903. Of course there is a material decrease in the number of lateral rooms, and a dramatic increase in the height of the corridors and rooms. He did away with the jogged axis used since the time of Horemheb and instead built the entire tomb on a single axis. Also, for the first time, the entrance was made considerably wider than earlier tombs.
The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity, the wonderful decorations include colorful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates, etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers.

It was amazing and especially big thanks to Capo Hassan who made the tour so fantastic with his knowledge and patience. Wauw !! I will never forget this day in my life
Beautiful sunrise balloon ride. We experienced the inflating of the balloon and then the 45 minute ride and then the deflating of the balloon and disembarking the basket. The view was beyond spectacular with both high an low altitudes. The crew was fun with singing and drums as we took flight. The initial communication was delayed which caused a 1 hour wait. The car was NOT luxury as mentioned in the advertisement.
Mo is a very knowledgeable tour guide (PhD Egyptologist) and takes great photos. He even let me use his phone when my phone's battery died, which I appreciated. I would not have been able to see as much on my tight schedule without booking the tour. Our driver was great. My balloon ride was cancelled within 24 hours due to strong wind - if this happens the ride is only $40 so instead of asking for refund would recommend asking to substitute other experiences such as Valley of Queens/Medinet Habu. For VoQ be sure to add on Queen Nefertari tomb if budget allows ($60) as its value is priceless with its stunning colors. King Tut tomb add-on also worth it. I wish we had skipped the tout shops (would advise skipping perfume shop) and regret not spending that time at Hatshepsut. I agreed to just looking at Hatshepsut temple exterior but it is difficult to see any detail from the outside because the security barriers prevent you from coming close. The felucca ride is also weather dependent - my sailboat experienced no wind and was at standstill. Nonetheless, it was a nice way to end the evening as the captain let the sail down for a nice sunset photo op while I dipped toes in the Nile. The workaround was a motorboat that tugged us back to shore. The tour allows full customization by charging an additional $25/site -- for example, Ramesseum, Carter House, Temple of Seti I, Valley of Nobles. The add-ons added up and felt a little pricey since many of these sites are within minutes of each other and admission fees are not included. Lunch charge of $25 also pricey given local lunch prices (200-300 Egyptian pounds) although the food at Paris restaurant was delicious and served in tagines. Overall, I would choose to do the tour again because I appreciated the deep knowledge of Dr Mo as a university teacher; I liked the nuances he was able to share about each site. I was also extremely short on time (in Luxor for 1.5 days) so the tour's a la carte nature met my needs. Things that could be improved would be the tour agency shifting from business mindset to aiming to provide the best value for consumer. Dr Mo checked in with me several times during the trip to make sure I was having a good time and made adjustments; I believe he is responsive to feedback and strives to improve, which I appreciate.
We did a lot of different day tours with different companies during our time in Egypt and this was probably our least favorite for a number of specific reasons. First, the pickup was about 45 minutes late, and we missed the sunrise for the hot air balloon ride, we were waiting and wandering back and forth from our hotel room to the lobby to see if we could find our ride, and I was not able to reach anyone to help guide me. Later we were picked up by a guide who did a nice job but did seemed rushed and tried to get us to skip one of the temples, as well as to move the boat ride to lunch time to shorten the day. Also we were forced to eat lunch from a restaurant that we didn't pick and it was very expensive and not the best. Given how much we paid for the tour, I didn't like the feeling that we were being an inconvenience when asking to see the temples that were slated as part of the tour. We wouldn't recommend this tour as there are others that are probably better value and have better customer service/care.
Really enjoyed a jam packed day that felt well-paced and hit the biggest sights. Went with Hany Soliman who helped identify the most interesting experiences which was critical for making sure time was well spent.
We booked this tour a couple months in advance electing for the 430am sunrise balloon ride. It was changed last minute to 615am this missing the sunrise. Our drivers were very nice. Our first boat operator was fantastic. Our tour guide-Mo- was knowledgeable on the sites. And that is where the customer service stopped. He spent most of his time on his phone. He also made sure to use our phones for pictures including himself in some of them. When walking to and from the sites, he would walk way in front of us, leaving us to deal with the “in your face” solicitors. When he did notice if we were being hassled, his only assistance was telling us to use our stern voice. When he was talking to us, he was very arrogant and clearly in love with himself. We also had a 2nd half day tour with him. We had to catch a boat from the west bank to the east bank. We were told that we would have the same boat operator for the day. We opted to wait until the end of the day to tip. However, our return boat ride was with a different operator. When we expressed the fact that we didn’t tip the first operator, we were told to give the new operator the money for him because “they were brothers”. So we did. The next day, we ran in to the first operator only to find out that he does not have a brother. Thanks for lying to us. My advice for future travels-go through your hotel. They can set you up with honest guides as this one clearly was not. Very disappointing. (And I am posting this on the correct tour)
We booked this tour last minute for 3 people, and were not able to enjoy the balloon ride as there was "no availability" which we thought was understandable given our late booking. A credit card refund was given to us for the cost of the balloon ride, which was very much appreciated. The sightseeing was incredible, and our driver was friendly and fun. However, we felt that our tour guide was only interested in extracting as much money from us as possible. It really cast a dark shadow on our day. Our tour guide spent a lot of the day pestering us to visit "much better locations" than what is included with the tour (he told us it would be $20 USD per person, per "extra location"). We had to ask him firmly to stop. We also felt that the lunch was a huge ripoff, as we were taken to a restaurant which obviously had a kick back scheme running with the tour guides. We were served far more food than we wanted or asked for (one of us is a vegetarian and only ate rice), then got stuck with a ridiculously expensive cheque ($50 USD) with most of the food going uneaten, which is completely unacceptable. We were also taken to a typical tourist trap shop where we were pressured to purchase pottery and stonework, which is clearly another kickback scheme with the tour guides. It took up time that we could have been enjoying the many historic wonders Luxor had to offer. We were not impressed. Since none of the tickets to the various historic sites were included in the price of this tour, we were puzzled as to what we had paid for in the initial price paid for this tour, and ended the day feeling deeply taken advantage of. Finishing the day feeling like a walking ATM is not a nice feeling to have after what should have been a fun and exciting day exploring Luxor. The best part of our day was when the tour guide left us and we got to enjoy the one hour boat ride with the two friendly young guys operating the vessel. I would not recommend this tour to anyone that wants to enjoy their day in Luxor. We would have had a much more enjoyable, positive, and cheaper experience if we had just hired someone to drive us around to the different sites.
The balloon ride was incredible! The places we visited were awe inspiring. Our drivers were wonderful and polite. Mo was knowledgeable when he wasn’t walking way ahead of us while he was texting or talking on his phone. He let us know how great he was in all ways. If you want any protection from him when being accosted by vendors don’t count on him. He told me if we didn’t buy from them they would go hungry essentially. So guilting us into buying basically not good quality stuff. He was too busy on his phone to make sure we were safe and not being “too” bothered. Don’t get me wrong I gave a lot of money to kids, moms and others. Fed the street dogs my left over food. Poverty is very prevalent there. Please don’t try to guilt me into buying stuff. If we had a question about something while walking Mo was to far ahead of us to ask. We got a boat ride over to the East bank from a driver we had the day before, we were suppose to have him take us back. When we got to the boat we said “that’s not the same driver, we told the other driver we would tip him when we saw him that night”. Mo said “don’t worry that is his brother you can give it to him.” We did just that, only to find out that was not true, so the boat driver and Mo were dishonest. Not cool! I don’t trust dishonest people.
Dr. Mo organized the tour. My tour guide was Hani Yassin and Ibrahim was the driver. Dr. Mo was attentive to my questions and concerns. Hani was very informative all throughout the tour. It was a long day, but it was definitely worth it. Highly recommended to go with his group. A few tips: 1. Book the earliest schedule for the balloon ride. Pictures are best taken at sunrise, and it will give you lots of time for the rest of the day. 2. Hani will recommend the best tombs to visit. Take pictures and don’t spend so much time. For a bit extra, visit King Tut’s tomb. You can see his mummy and take pics. You cannot do this with the mummies at the Museum of Egyptian Civilization. 3. Karnak is the highlight of the trip. The temple complex is just awesome and indescribable. Spend more of your time here. 4. Make sure you reach Luxor while there is still daylight. Then wait until the sun sets and the lighting is just magical. Highly recommended. You won’t regret it.
This tour actually started when Dr Mo contacted me thru whatsapp the night I booked my tour. It shows his dedication in taking care of his clients. The night before the tour, he again contacted me to inform him our room number for them to call us once they are in the hotel. The hot air baloon was amazing, the captain was friendly and did the 'Egyptian Landing' , next stop is with Dr Mo - this guy has a good sense of humor and he knows is craft. You can see the he is passionate not only in his work but he wants to see Egypt as a whole succeed. I asked alot about the history and even mentioned that maybe this was built by giants. lol. Another good thing with Dr Mo is his photography skills. Good Job Dr Mo and hope that you will have more clients in the future.
Wonderful full package one day tour. Care free tour and just follow the lead of your guide! Our guide Khalid made our day from 7am to 7pm. We were happy for his company all day long! Thanks Khalid! We recommend Dr Mo and Khalid!
A good tour combo to visit Luxor if you are visiting Egypt holiday. Although weather is warm but still worth the time and effort
Hot air balloon in the morning was absolutely incredible, one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life! Stunning and very well run. Unfortunately the rest of the tour after that was a bit of a let down. Our tour guide, although very friendly, clearly had somewhere else they wanted to be and was not invested in our tour experience at all, until it came to requesting a review and asking us to do it on the spot. The sights are amazing and impressive but would recommend doing the hot air balloon ride and making your way around the rest of the sights yourself!
The Luxor tour was absolutely incredible! We started our journey very early with the sunrise balloon ride. This is not something you want to miss while visiting Egypt. After the balloon ride we met with our guide, Ms. Samah. She was such a beautiful woman inside and out. With each temple and site we traveled to, she provided such great detail on the history. She took us across all of Luxor for the day and even personalized our tour to work around the buses and to avoid the large groups. Because of this we practically had the temple of Hatshepsut all to ourselves. The vehicle we used to travel was easily the nicest and most luxurious we’ve been in throughout our entire visit in Egypt. Our driver was always ready to go with the AC blasting at the end of each site visit. When it was time for the Folluca ride, we were greeted by the kindest staff. They provided drinks, played music and went above and beyond with taking some of the best pictures of my fiancé and I. By the end of the visit it was difficult to say goodbye to Samah. She was no longer our tour guide but truly a friend. If you can, make sure you request Samah as your guide. You will not be disappointed with the history she will provide of this ancient city. We cannot thank her enough for the most magical day in Luxor, Egypt❤️
Great experience. Def recommend taking a tour with Dr. Mo. He is very informative and has a sense of humor.
Dr. Mo was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and informative. We had a short time in Luxor, and Dr. Mo accommodated us and even took us to see extra stores in our time. Unfortunately, we were able to do the hot air balloon, but Dr. Mo was very accommodating and refunded us for that excursion. Book Dr.Mo for your trip; he is the best!
I loved every part of this tour. The hot air balloon is incomparable and the sites that follow are incredible. I was paired with Dr. Hassan and he was an excellent guide. He gave a lot of information, was funny, and kind. He also takes great photos! He catered the tour to the experience I wanted to have. As a solo female on this private tour, I felt very safe with him and he seemed to know many people as he’s a local himself. This meant less people hassled us throughout the day. Definitely recommend this tour and recommend Dr. Hassan!
Excellent service. Beautiful air balloon ride and guided day tour. Dr. Mo made sure our first time to Egypt was memorable. First class service Highly Recommend booking with Dr. Mo.
All amzazing but Valley of the Kings truly stood out as an impressive place. Optional extras are worth the spending money. Brilliant guide would recommend to anyone.
Ballon ride was cancelled. No refund given. ***SCAMMER***** *****Worst Experience in Luxor ******* **********Do NOT Use**************** Car was comfortable. Driver was safe. Feature was ballon ride. Dr. Moe kept wanted to substitute museum entrance fees instead of refund which I still have not gotten. I was unable to cancel and left and initial bad review. Dr. Moe demanded I removed it during the trip. I did not feel safe review until after leaving Egypt. Avoid buying anything at alabaster village. Grossly overpriced ********WORST OF. EGYPT*********
Our tour started at 3:20am, when we were picked up by our driver to head over to the hot air balloon. The hot air balloon experience was absolutely amazing, just be sure to bring $20 if you want the video on a usb drive where they film your experience. After watching the sunrise, we met Dr. Mo and jumped straight into our tour. The sites were beautiful and Dr. Mo made sure to tailor the tour to our needs. His explanations were thorough, funny and were done under the shade, to keep us cool from the sun. Midway we were taken to Restaurant Paris, which had the most amazing food! Then we changed the Felucca ride to be during the day, to cut down on our time, since the heat was becoming unbearable. Dr. Mo set us up with his best guys who took care of us and made us feel at home on the boat. It was the perfect way to cool off, we even got to dip our feet in the Nile which was refreshing. Finally, we went Luxor Temple and Karnak to finish off our tour. So many beautiful sites to take in. Unfortunately, I was becoming sick from the heat and Dr. Mo was quick to walk us through the shaded areas and get us back to our hotel. I’m so happy with this experience and can’t wait to return. Thank you Dr. Mo for a beautiful day in Luxor, from start to finish!
Our tour has been a wonderful experience from the very beginning. We booked with Dr Mo and he was in contact with us right away and ensured we had transportation from the airport to our hotel. We promptly received a pickup time for our tour and hot air balloon ride which will be a cherished memory. I was advised it would be too hot to do the tour during this time of year however he has made sure to go at our pace. We were taken to eat authentic Egyptian food which was a great way to immerse yourself in the culture. He has so much knowledge and explained everything in a way that was fun and easy to understand. This tour has been the highlight if our trip.
Such a great time!!! I had a great guide for the day, not only did Hassan have a great personality he was also incredibly knowledgeable of Ancient Egypt! He also was a great photographer as well, being that I’m a solo traveler this was a great bonus!! What an unforgettable experience!!
Great day, lovely experience, knowledgeable guide. Dr. Mo was very informative and we loved the opportunity to learn so much about all the locations we visited.
started off with the hot air balloon ride that was amazing views over Luxor. Met our tour guide Azab who took us to the valley of the kings and other temples. He was very knowledgeable and answered all questions, even a good photographer a too. Finished off with a relaxing ride on the Nile river in a sail boat. Azab knew the spot to take my family as well for a delicious lunch overlooking a sugar can crop. He made sure Luxor is a memory my family and I will never forget.
The perfect tour to see the major highlights of Luxor in one day. Balloon and boat rides are providing a good variation. Hassan was a fantastic guide, very knowledgable, accommodating and entertaining.
We had the opportunity to take a tour of Egypt with Dr. Mo, and I can't believe how much we learned and how the time flew! The tour was so informative and packed full of fun activities that made it engaging and not just walking around looking at stuff. Dr. Mo was fun, engaging, and extremely knowledgeable. If you are coming to Luxor, this is the place to get your tour. Pictures don't do them justice! To experience all this first hand is something you're going to remember forever! We will contact him again whenever we are back in Egypt.
The balon ride was amazing, we had a very good time with Dr. Mo agency. King valley, hatshepsut temple, habu tample, coloses de memnon, karnak y luxor was perfect too. Ours guide Gamal was very kind and friendly, accutualy the best guide all Egypt.
Definitely recommend this tour to any one who will visit the luxor . it will start with an amazing balloon ride then your day will getting better by the hour from visiting the multiple temples then the felucca ride with enjoying the fresh air of the nile river . The attention and care from everybody in the crew especially dr mo to their travelers is overwhelming. My only advice for you is to have a good night sleep to prepare for a day full of fun .
Dr. Mo is one of the best Egyptologists and tour guides I've seen. He's funny, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The sunrise hot air balloon ride was spectacular; he even surprised my wife and me with a wedding anniversary cake on the felucca sunset trip. Mo made the explanation very easy to remember, answered all our questions, "there were A LOT :)" If you didn't tour Luxor with Dr. Mo, you didn't see it all.
The tour was amazing! Dr. Mo is so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Egyptology (he has a PHD in it) a perfect tour with a great guide, we saw so much of Luxor in just one day.
The Falluca’s experience was incredible, beyond words, my child was extremely happy, we did not want to leave the site. The sunset over the Nile is one of the most incredible experience in our lives ( also tue air ballon with Dr Mo tours ). So please please don’t leave Luxor without doing this tour completely recommend.
Dr Mo is one of the best Egyptologists in the world and an an outstanding tour guide. I can’t wait to see him on TV one day when he’s super famous talking about the new tomb he’ll discover one day! This is by far the best tour in Egypt.
Absolutely incredible experience. Great way to see this historic city from a unique perspective. Extremely peaceful, great staff and competent pilot. Would highly recommend Dr. Mo for both his balloon rides and tour of the city. Could not of asked for a better guide.
Dr. Mo was the best tour guide we could've asked for! He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about every detail he shared with us. I learned so much in such a little time. Our trip wouldn't have been the same without him. He went above and beyond to assure that everything was perfect every step of the way. He was also able to show me the perfect place to get beautiful authentic jewelry, which was fantastic! The hot air balloon was breathtaking and being able to see all of Luxor from the aerial view was just awesome. We toured the Valley of the Kings, and even though guides are not allowed in with you, he was able to tell us what to look for in each tomb to have the best experiences. Hatshepsut's temple was amazing. Honestly, it was the best day we had in Luxor by far. We ended up using Dr. Mo's tours for all of our excursions as well as transportation in multiple cities. It made every day easy, fun, and exciting. By the end of it he was more like family than a guide. You could not ask for more.
Dr Mohamed has been amazing. Due to being off season and covid land, we had him all to ourselves for the full day. Having such a personable and knowledgeable guide has been wonderful. You can tell he has passion in what he does. So impressed, we let his company take our tours in Cairo as well. If you want a guide with passion, knowledge, and a sense of humor, he is your guide. He even helped above and beyond with matters unrelated to our tour. We couldn't ask for more! And please, he will be so into what he is doing for you that you can tell him I said to remind him to hydrate! 🤣
This tour was awesome, so many things to see in one day, it started very early and the sun rise on the air ballon was priceless, our tour guide Mr Moe was so helpful. By the way he knows a lot about the history of Egypt .
This tour is incredible, just imagine sunrise on a hot air ballon 😍 great experience and awesome tour guy. Dr Moe, we definitely recommend him not only for this tour but for many other in Cairo and Luxor. The pyramid and camel tour was awesome too. Make sure y’all check that one out too.
Lovely full day experience packed with fun activities. Our day started at 5 am and ended around 530 pm. The length of the tour will depend on how long you want to stay at each site—there is no rush and you can take as long as you need.
A memorable and relaxing sunset felucca ride. It was not part of our day long plan, but Dr. Mohamed was able to pull it off at the last minute. Highly recommend!
This review is for the Nile River Sunset boat ride! The boat was immaculate! We were served tea and refreshments, and the captain was a pleasure to talk to, he shared some fun stories, won’t forget this trip!
As I only really had a day and a half in Luxor, I wanted to do as much as possible. I had Dr Mohamed as a guide who was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Every part of the trip from the hot air balloon ride to the Valley of Kings to Karnak and Luxor temples to the boat ride and to the scenic spot for lunch with fantastic food was brilliant. I was initially sceptical having been harassed and bothered by tour guides in Cairo who were more concerned with ripping me off and extorting money but Mohamed was brilliant, courteous, and a gentleman. I'm so glad I found this tour and would strongly recommend this for anyone. Excellent value for money considering how much was covered and my comfort and enjoyment was given top priority which is what anyone would want from a tour. A very easy 5 stars all the way and thank you for such an enjoyable day. All the best
This activity is a definite must for those wishing to travel to Luxor. The all inclusive package is perfect for individuals and groups that are looking to see everything all in one trip; I found that this option was much better than haggling on the streets to find a guide, and it also ended up being more cost-effective than alternative options. The driver and included water was a huge perk and I found the execution to be perfect for our purposes.
Saw this trip and knew it would be the trip for me. I love all things adventurous so doing so many cool things in one day was really awesome. The owner was so nice and helpful with the coordination and picked us up right outside our hotel. The driver was nice and the guide was really knowledgable. I think Karnak had to be my favorite place as it's just so grandiose. Nothing can compare to seeing these things in real life but getting it all done in one day made it even better. I highly recommend doing this when you come to Luxor!
The company was founded recently and shows to be very different from the others in the country, in terms of guides and thinking in the clients always. The owner is also a guide, an excelent one, with HUGE knowledge about Egypt history, always very kind and prepared to solve any problem. I strongly recommend I Like Egypt Tours, and Luxor as a place to visit! Best day in Egypt!
We made a tour with I like Egypt tour and it was so great ! Thank you for the French guide. Hope to come back soon !
Dr. Mohammed comes with the highest recommendation. Our day started with a hot air balloon ride. Which was fantastic, not only were the views second to none when it comes to balloon rides, but the price was exceptional as well. Following that Mohammed took us on a tour of some of the lesser known, lesser traveled tombs and temples. Which we had requested since we had already seen the more touristy stops with our larger group. I learned more in just a few short hours this morning with Mohammed then I did over an entire week of Cairo, and Luxor with other tour agencies. Being an Egyptologist he was able to give us an in depth look into what things were like 3000 years ago. He told many stories about the Ancient Egyptians from a narrative driven perspective, which was not only refreshing but also riveting. He then kindly returned us to the resort, and reminded us of our pick up time for a sunset ATV ride. Our boat picked us up a little later, and was honestly not a second late. After a short trip to the West Bank we were whizzing through the Egyptian sands with gleeful expressions on all of our faces. The views on the ATV ride were also wonderful as we drove back into the remnants of the ancient river... Overall, Mohammed was kind and generous, as were all of the drivers, and representatives he worked with. If you're visiting Egypt he is most definitely the travel guide you need to book.
we are so glad we booked Dr. Mohamed as our guide for this tour through ‘ I Like Egypt Tours’ . it is an entire day of tombs and temples and it does not disappoint. the amount of history in this place is staggering. The temples are amazing and incredible to stand next to them. A full day tour can take a lot out of you, but Dr. Mo kept us going and provided hydration and food as we needed. he always kept him positive and informative attitude. We were grateful to have him with us. he advised us how to deal with vendors, and made sure we were treated well everywhere we went. we also added fullocca sail boat ride at sunset in our tour which was a nice treat on the Nile. Dr. Mo has extensive knowledge of the area and customs. he is a pleasure to be around. highly recommended it for you.
Outrageous experience – dishonest claimant and no solution I booked several weeks in advance a “luxury” hot air balloon flight at sunrise on January 1st via Headout, operated by the local supplier DO Mo Tours Egypt, represented by Mr. Zeinab. 👉 The night before (December 31 at 8pm), Mr Zeinab informs me that the flight will not finally take place at sunrise, but at 6:40am, when the sun rose at 6:31am. 👉 It justifies this change with a so-called flight ban, which is false: many hot air balloons took off well at sunrise that morning. I have pictures that prove it. 👉 Another problem: the program included photos and video during the flight. The same day, I am told that I have to pay extra. 👉 Headout then assures me that I will receive these photos/videos via a link, which is also false: I never received anything. Result: ❌ missed sunrise on January 1st ❌ promised benefits not respected ❌ false information ❌ wasted experience for a moment that must have been exceptional Most shocking is Headout’s response, which hides behind its local provider and only offers me a credit of $42.25 on a future booking, which is totally unacceptable in view of the damage suffered. ➡️ I strongly advise against DO Mo Tours Egypt and Headout. Lack of professionalism, lack of transparency and no real customer service in case of problems
