Luxor East And West Bank Valley Of The Kings, Hatshepsut ,Luxor & Karnak Temples

I had always wanted to visit Luxor and this tour met every expectation. I was thrilled to be able to visit so many incredible sights and spend an unforgettable day in this beautiful destination. The guide and driver were first-rate. Highly recommended.

I visited the East and West banks of Luxor with Khalid, he was an excellent guide! Very kind and knowledgeable about Egyptian art and history, and he went above and beyond to make every effort to ensure that I had the best experience. Also very passionate about his work and Egypt, many thanks for the memorable experiences!

Nice older guy who takes care about his clients and also goes out of his way to make you feel good. Knows when and where the crowds are and at least tries to avoid them. Our travel agency messed up and he made sure that we get something in return for it (free romantic felucca ride). Aside from being knowledgeable, I liked that he stopped on the side of the street to buy a watermelon for dessert. I am a person who loves information and learning about culture and history, for this I would have liked even more information but I know in that limited time this is hard to fulfill. If you are like me, consider at least a second day in Luxor with a guide.

Where to even begin. Put simply, Khaled was an incredible guide! He was so flexible with our schedule and accommodated any requests or adjustments we may have had. We felt safe and in good care throughout the entire day and left our tour feeling more than satisfied. I’d highly recommend Khaled for anyone hoping to experience a thoughtfully put together tour with a terrifically kind human being.

Khaled is a knowledgeable and respectful tour guide. He took the time to explain the different sites, as well as his own views and theories as Egyptologist. He was good at providing insights in preparation for each site - what to expect, tipping, bargaining souvenirs, etc. I would recommend taking this tour with Khaled.

I loved the group we had. Everyone was so fun and lovely. Our tourguide Khaled was super knowledgeable and so sweet. All of the temples were incomprehensibly beautiful and Khaled did an amazing job of explaining everything to us.

Luxor is a beautiful place to visit, can't be missed. The Valley of the Kings and the Queen temple are amazing highlights. Thanks to Khalid, a great tour guide for being very knollengable and patient. He arranged a nice trip on the West Bank, and a relaxing boat trip back.

It was a busy day covering all the key places in Luxor but totally worth it ! We throughly enjoyed it. Our guide Khaled knows a lot. We had our best Egyptian meal based on his recommendation. I would highly recommend this tour particularly our Guide. He is gem of a person and super safe option for female travellers. Enjoy your time in Egypt :)

Amazing, fabulous trip!We so glad we chose Egypt Best Holiday tour and our guide is Mr Khaled! Amazing man and he acted like our father and family during the trip.End of our trip we suppose to take sleeper train and he waited with us until train arrived. We enjoy the most of our trip with Khaled's outstanding explaination on every temple we visited in Luxor! And most memorable thing is out lunch! Very good! Overall very dissapointing day tour (teleurstellende dagtrip - zeer slechte gids en slechte lunch. Ik raadt aan om een soortgelijke dagtrip te reserveren bij een andere gids/bedrijf) Pro's - The itinerary is good. You will be able to see the main highlights of Luxor in 1 day easily Cons - Lazy tourguide. Only give very brief background information at the sites before providing "free time". If you are at a site for 1 hour the tour guide would provide information for maybe 5/10 minutes. He didnt even take the effort to walk along but would just wait near the entrance. - Bad and overpriced lunch. The classic tourist scam lunch. - Being on the phone the whole time. - Started to request for a good review of the tour before lunchtime already. Almost forcing me to give a review on the spot (sharing his mobile hotspot) - Trying to sell more day tours the whole day, while i clearly indicated not to be interested. (i told him i was going to do the balloon ride in the next morning. Afterwards he checked with his boss if i booked it via their company... no privacy? When he realized i didnt book with their company, he wanted me to change. Very annoying and unprofessional)

1. Our tourguide Khalid doesn’t have sufficient English speaking skill. I could rarely understand what he said. He just repeated “okay” all the time. 2. Not only that, I believe the job of a tourguide is supposed to walk with us to the monument places and explain about the details of the architecture - he didn’t even walk half way with us and left us saying that he gives us free time “for photos”. I haven’t heard much about the background stories or details. He said some parts are not allowed for tourguide to come in, but when we went inside, I saw other tourguides giving tours. He just seems a bit in rush and not interested/lazy to walk with us. 3. The information he offers was repetitive and not that informative/educational. 4. The thing that made me MOST angry was that he brought us to this sketchy restaurant and ordered food what he wanted - there was only us and the food wasn’t that good - and asked us to pay 460 pounds. HAHAHA Seriously? Especially, the lunch was not included in the package. We didn’t even eat much because we didn’t like it, and it was super uncomfortable to eat with the guide as well. 5. The tourguide was busy talking on the phone all the time - so I didn’t feel like he’s working for us. He often stop conversations because of calling and kept talking on the phone whole day. 6. The driver’s car was old and dirty. The driver was fine though. 7. The course of the trip was fine. If we just had a different tourguide, it would have been nicer. Personally, the sailing boat was the nicest experience (without the tourguide) - which I definitely recommend. 8. Conclusion: If every tourguide is like this in this company, I don’t recommend this tour at all.

Khaled was very knowledgeable, but more importantly very accommodating and really cares that his customers get the best experience. We started out with an evening tour of Luxor temple, but first literally chased down a couple of his clients from a few days prior that had their hot air balloon trip cancelled when they walked right by us. He was able to get them on a balloon (with me) the next day. Walking away he said, "we as tourism personals really need to show that we care about it customers, rather than just seeing them as sources of money." The rest of the tour was great! h He took me for my best meal in Egypt, and provided great explanations of what we were seeing, and did it all with a bunch of humorous stories as well.

I had a great time with our tour guide Khalid. We got to see many things that most people would not normally see and spent a full day seeing the West Bank which is a more rural side of Egypt. We spent two great days around the Nile River on the East and West Bank. We took a hot air balloon over the valley of Luxor which I definitely recommend to anyone coming to Egypt. Fantastic tour.

Khaled was a very great tour guide and took us to a lot of great places to see and different activities to do. Would recommend to other travelers.

So just a few things, if you do this tour just be warned that first of all it’s not done in 1 day, they spread it out into 2. So plan for that. Second of all none of the fees are included . None of the entrances fees or lunch is included, everything cost extra which we wish we knew cause we would have had money ready. Finally, the tour guide will sometimes try to sell you on additional add ons to the tour .. but you are better off doing it yourself. We did an amazing balloon tour in the morning before the second day of this tour began, and it only cost $75! It was a legitimate operation with many employees and staff. This tour had it as an add on for $100 with different company. So I encourage you to shop around and get your own good deals!

This tour was one of my favorites in all of my Egypt trip. Not only did we see everything in one day, but our tour guide Khaled El Saady went above and beyond in making our day extra special. He pushed to make sure that we got the best prices, the best food, and the best experience. I highly recommend that everyone take this tour, it is truly amazing!

This tour company is amazing. The tour guides are knowledgeable and even come prepared with Egyptian currency in case you didn't bring enough. My friend and I brought our 3 children (9,9,13) to Egypt from Chicago and this company provided an AMAZING experience in Luxor and Cairo....Sam is amazing and Mohammoud even got the student discount at some of the sites in Cairo for my 6' 2" thirteen year old.

As a single white female traveling solo, I felt completely safe and taken care of by Kahled (guide) & Hussen (driver extroidinaire) in Luxor. Kahled was very knowledgeable and extremely kind! He helped me book additional excursions and made sure my time in Luxor was exceptional. (If you can, book the sunrise hot air balloon ride...it was my absolute favorite! Totally worth the wake call time!!!) Hussen made sure I arrived everywhere safely and always had a smile on his face! They make a great team! I feel like I have new friends in Egypt! Cannot wait to return and would recommend this tour company highly.

Booked this tour 6 months ahead by email. Was told the guide would show up the morning of the trip at the hotel. Was a bit sceptical but the guide with driver and a nice air-conditioned car showed up at the appointed timed! Enjoyed the day touring the sites at the East and the West Bank. Had a delicious local lunch. Extras were disclosed before hand and never felt pushy at all. Guide was very knowledgable and very humorous. Driver was professional and took the extra step of dropping off at the train station at the end. Definitely recommend this tour to others.

Communication before the tour was straightforward and polite. My guide Hany met me at the airport with a driver. Hany is super friendly and easy going and immediately I knew it was going to be a good day! We toured the sights on the East and West banks. Hany was really well informed about all periods of Egyptian history and he explained everything really well. His English is excellent and accent easy to understand. I overhead many other guides on the trip and I felt that he was by far the best! Overall, it was a great tour. I learnt so much in a short time and I didn’t feel rushed at all; Hany let us go at my pace. I recommend Egypt Best Holidays without a doubt :)

Very nice tour with a very nice, helpful and experienced guide (Khaled). All sights are highlights, my personal highlight was the Karnak Temple.

We spent a great day with Khaled. He is a trained Egyptologist and knows everything. If you don’t just want to know superficial details, you’ll be in particularly good hands with him. At the beginning of each temple he tells the stories behind it, then gives you enough time to explore the complex alone. We also had a good feeling with him when buying souvenirs. It takes the whole day for the facilities, it is quite exhausting but interesting and exciting until the end. Thanks Khaled for the great day!

Exceptional, Emo Tours Egypt was very understandable considering the composition of our family (teen and young child) and especially the heatwave temperatures for the season of August. This day has been subdivided into 2 mornings. Many thanks also to Mamdou Kamal for his role (intermediary). Our guide in Luxor spoke French, explained and knew his subject well. It really helped us to better understand some of the riches of this beautiful city of Luxor. The drivers drove safely, flexible and very respectful. The car is very clean and well air conditioned. I only know Egyptian history from history lessons. Today the culture should finally “resurrect”, because we had booked a full-day private tour. Nermina, our tour guide, picked us up at the hotel and showed us many sights together with a chaffeur for a day. Karnak Temple, a boat trip on the Nile, the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, a papermaking shop and a stonemasonry were on the program. It was just awesome! Nermina showed us a lot, explained much more and also answered all questions extensively and insanely well. Anyone who wants to explore Luxor is in the right place! We had enough time to watch everything and could also help shape the program. Thanks again, especially to Nermina, who is a very sympathetic and great ambassador for your country and culture!

Our tour guide was Shimiaa rabie. She was a very deep person who taught me a lot of things, and I learned a lot about important things like history and picture potatoes. Our tour ended around 5am with a hotel pick-up at 7am, originally back to the hotel, but we asked for a favor and dropped off at the Luxor Museum. I didn't expect lunch, but they took me to a famous place called Al-Sahaby Lane, and I had very good food, like camel soup and grills, and they said you could order one of your favorite things. Thanks to the gentle guide and driver, I had a good time. The guide's English is beautiful and very easy to understand, but some English proficiency is required.
