Luxor Day Tours To East Bank & West Bank

Thank you for accepting our reservation even though we made it suddenly the night before. Thanks to you, my mother and I were able to complete the West Bank tour in Luxor. The tour, which started early in the morning, was very satisfying. It was a one-day tour covering both the East and West Banks of Luxor, but since we had already visited Luxor Temple the previous day, we requested in advance to replace it with another site, and our request was kindly approved. The car’s air conditioning worked well, it was clean, and the driver was very kind. He was a veteran driver who had worked in Luxor for many years and clearly had great affection for his country. We were also able to leave our belongings — such as water, snacks, and a power bank — in the car and explore the archaeological sites freely without carrying extra bags. However, because the weather was extremely hot, my mother became tired quickly, so we ended the tour early and took a rest. I’m glad that we chose to travel with a private van instead of joining a group tour. I’m still traveling abroad, so I don’t have time to write a longer review right now, but we were very satisfied with the tour and I’d definitely like to recommend it to my friends once I return home.

We had a great experience with this tour. Easy pick up and transfers all over Luxor. Our tour guide Ashraf was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It really made our experience and time in Luxor memorable.

Overall everything went well, except for the part where they say the water is free, but the driver tried to charge us for the water, but then we got in touch with the company and everything was resolved.

Mohamed Eltiba was a great guide. It so was nice to be informed about the temples, the tombs and everything

Our guide Ahmed was great! He was super knowledgeable about every stop we made, friendly + personable. We were able to take our time with each stop and got great pictures. Our pick up from the hotel was on time and drove us to each stop. We started early 8am and we’re back by 4pm. We were able to stop for water and snacks in between the temples and Valley of the Kings. Overall our experience was a 10/10!

Had such an incredible time. I wouldn't have known what on earth I was looking at nor would I have been able to appreciate the rich and vast historical significance of the sites. Ahmed Omar without a doubt, made it such an unforgettable experience. 10/10 Will 100% be doing this again!

Wow what a tour! My trip to the Luxor with Ahmed was one of the most epic tours I’ve been on my entire life. Our first stops were at the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut temple where we explored ancient tombs with amazing art carvings inside. Ahmed gave detailed knowledge on all the writings and pictures in these tombs and temples. Last was the actual Luxor site with epic pillars and obelisks. There’s no place like this on the planet just amazing. The Luxor was several dozen acres in size and massive. Ahmed was the best tour guide one could ask for he was calm and cool and very informative on his Egyptian history I learned much from him. He was also very kind by setting me up with a delicious lunch , drinks, and snacks. Lastly he gave my son a nice souvenir that we will always remember him by. I highly recommend Ahmed .

From the get go Neemeena was friendly, warm, very engaged and informative. All day the historical facts kept coming that made everything so much more interesting, highly recommend, the food was unreal as well.

Had an amazing time! Guide Mohamed Ali was very kind and explained everything from the history of the temples up to the meanings of the scriptures. And all for a very affordable price. Would recommend to everyone visiting Luxor.

Omnia was so helpful setting up our tours in Cairo and Luxor. Our guide in Cairo, Mahmoud was great! Both drivers were great. Our driver in Luxor made us feel safe and comfortable. Dina our guide in Luxor was so amazing. She blew it out of the water. She was personable, very knowledgeable, and funny. It was like visiting a friends home and having them take you around their city. Egypt is a wonderful place to visit. Emo tours is easy to work with and they delivered on everything promised. If you go to Luxor ask for Dina as a tour guide. She really made this experience amazing.

Ahmed Omar was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable of all the historic details.. Every question I asked he was thorough and specific with his answer. He and our driver Ramadan took very good care of me.. And the lunch in “Paris” was the much needed break I needed.. Although it was extremely hot Ahmed Omar did all he could to accommodate me.. I would recommend this dynamic dual for anyone who wants to get smart of all things Luxor..

We took the Day trip to Luxor tour with Emo Tours in June. From communication to the complete tour they delivered their best. The driver was on time in the morning to pick us up for an hour long flight to Luxor via Egypt Air. When we reached there the guide Shireen was waiting for us to take us on our tour. Shireen is very knowledgeable and very nice and fluent in English, after we saw the West Bank we had scrumptious lunch, after that we were taken to the East bank and saw the rest of the attractions. We stopped by at a hotel for a couple of hours to take a quick nap and freshen up before we head back to Cairo. After we landed at Cairo we were taken back to our hotel. Zizo is the best guy at Emo tours to schedule all your tours and plans. He’s very prompt with his answers and from scheduling to delivering does a fabulous job. A big thanks to Shireen who was our guide in Luxor. Emo tours does an excellent job in making you feel comfortable and going out of their way to make your tour the best one . Amazing day tour in Luxor with the best guide Ghada, the first day we visited Karnak temples and Luxor Temple with a full guide explanation of the carnival road between Luxor and Karnak. and the 2nd day we gook a trip to the west and east bank valey of the kings and valey of the queens in addition to Hapshetsut temple. i would highly recomend this trip. and ask for Ghada to be ur guide :)

Private car from Luxor airport to the Valley of the Kings, our tour guide was Ahmed Mustafa who was extremely knowledgeable about the whole trip. Took us to each tomb at the Valley of the Kings and where they made all the hand ornament’s. Excellent value for money, well worth the trip.

We toured with Dina today and can honestly say it was a 10/10. We’ve had 7 guides thus far in Egypt and she was one of the best. She is funny, insightful, energetic, and ensured we kept the pace we liked. Absolutely top notch. If you book with EMO, ask for Dina.

We booked a tour with emo tours, half day trip to valley of the kings and several other sites nearby. Sam, the guide, picked us up at the hotel at 10 o clock. The car was nice and clean. Sam was a great egyptologist guide, explained everything well and could answer all questions. He told us what to look for inside the tombs, and the significance of certain paintings. Such as how to spot the name of the pharaoh. I would strongly recommend anyone to go with a tour guide if you plan to visit Luxor, otherwise you'll miss a lot, regardless of whether you already have some knowledge or don't know anything about the subject.

Our tour guide Ahmed al Kallef was amazing very knowlegable and made all the dense history sounds like fun, he was walking us through all the stories at our own paths making sure we understood everything while enjoying our time. Our driver Mr. Salah was very patient and always on time between trips , and in the morning both of them were even a little early and waited for us happily with a slight delay from out side. Nothing to correct

We (4) started the private tour with a Luxor airport pickup in a new van with a driver and our guide Sam. After a 40-minute drive to the West Bank of the Nile, we made a stop at the Temple of Aminhotep III to take photos and a coffee. We then went to the Valley of the Kings to see 3 pharaohs' tombs which were in the tour price, and we took the optional visit to the Seti I tomb (highly recommended, although expensive). Next we visited the Hatshepsut Temple, a great photo op. We then had a 45-min lunch break at a restaurant right on the bank of the Nile, frequented by groups of tourists, good choices in the self-service, cozy outdoor seating under the January sun. We then continued to the Luxor temple and ended the tour with the Karnak Temples and a 15-min ride to the airport. Our guide Sam who is a graduate Egyptologist, energetic, and with excellent English, really made our day by going the extra mile to show us more and answer all our questions. He even spent an hour longer than the itinerary with us. Of course, this is a day's trip through 2000+ years of history, so much was left for some next visit. The agency covered all tickets and lunch as advertised. Very valuable experience and highly recommended!

We did the full day private tour with Sam(ir). It was really the highlight of our 8 days trip to Egypt. Sam is a fascinating guide - he knows every tiny detail of the acient history and has a great presentation style. Flawless experience - I would recommend Emo tours and Sam to everyone to explore the wonders of Luxor!

Our tour guide for the day was Mustafa and he was absolutely incredible. He was full of energy from start to finish, knew everything about Egypt despite our attempts to stump him, and ensured we had a blast the entire time. If you are staying in Cairo this tour is a MUST! Nermeen was the best guide. I booked the East and West Bank tour for my family of six hoping we would get someone knowledgeable, personable, and patient. I have experienced guides in Egypt that were more pushy, but Nermeen was not. She interacted with my family in a very organic and real way. She was also able to gage social cues which is really important for interacting with my family members. After a successful first day, I booked her again for a tour of the Valley of the Queens, Hebu temple, and the workers village. Day two off the beat and path with Nermeen was even better than day one. Her intelligence and shared passion for Pharaonic history and culture made both days really come alive. She has left a lasting impression on both me and my family. Emo tours is lucky to have such a wonderful guide.

The history of Luxor is worth seeing and what makes the experience worthwhile is a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. Dina was super helpful and informative of the sites and got everything set up from the lunch, bottle water, tickets, and air conditioned car ride. I had a 8 hour tour with Salwa my tour guide. We did everything we were supposed to do without skipping anything. She explained everything pretty well but sometimes didn’t know the answers to my questions. I prefer more of a storytelling kind of tour but every guide has their style. Overall i don’t doubt her knowledge and she did a good job explaining the details. Everything ran smoothly. And communication was great.

I used Emo Tours to visit some of the West Bank attractions, in particular, the Colossi of Memnon, Queen Hatshepsut Temple, Valley of the Kings, and Valley of the Queens. A special thanks to my guide Angie, who made it an AMAZING experience. Please, if you are planning to use a guide (highly recommended) to tour the west bank, ask for Angie! She was super knowledgeable, entertaining, engaging, personable, flexible (I was short on time), protective (from the uber aggressive vendors and men who lurk around at the sights asking for tips), and accommodating. mohamed hamed is the best guide we have ever had he was very knowledgeable of Egyptian history and knows the best spots ,he went out of his way to make our visit to Egypt exptional and he did made our trip unforgtable if you ever go to Egypt you have to book with emo tours ,and ask for mohamed hamed to be your tour guide you will not regrte it , thank you emo tours and mohamed for making our dream came true

We spent Christmas with our adult daughter in Lebanon and Egypt, and the highlight was our cruise down the Nile with Emo Tours. Our guide was Ahmed and he was excellent from the moment he picked us up at the train station in Luxor to our farewell at the boat dock in Aswan. Because it was just the three of us with our own "Egyptologist" we never felt rushed or crowded. Ahmed is very knowledgeable and passionate about Egypt – both ancient and modern – and patiently answered our many, many questions. A real gentleman. He organized our transportation and entrance fees with great efficiency, and we felt safe, respected and well cared-for. He went out of our way to help with any task we asked of him! We really enjoyed our time with Ahmed and can recommend him and Emo Tours without reservation. Overall the experience of seeing the sites in Luxor, Aswan and along the Nile was excellent, and the experience of the river boat, the MS Crown Prince, was comfortable and great fun. (Note: These people really know how to put on a New Year's Eve party!) Egypt has been attracting visitors for years and years, and it's easy to see why. It remains a wonder of the world.
