They knew exactly where to take us, made everything seamless, and truly made our trip unforgettable. They were the perfect combination of fun, knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating. Luxor is the kind of place that punishes a tight schedule, yet this day tour managed to feel generous rather than rushed. We began at Karnak, where the scale of the hypostyle hall genuinely stopped me mid-sentence, then moved to Luxor Temple before the heat settled in. After a relaxed lunch by the river, we crossed to the West Bank for the Valley of the Kings, the terraces of Hatshepsut's Temple, and a quiet pause at the Colossi of Memnon. Our guide was knowledgeable without being relentless, the vehicle was cool and comfortable, and the timing throughout was clearly thought through. A long day, yes, but an exceptionally good one.

I had a wonderful touring experience with Luxor Private Tours last week. Although they were not the company I originally planned to do the Luxor tour with, I had some last minute changes in my itinerary and Luxor Private Tours were able to accommodate us in a short notice. Our tour & our tour guide Mohammad was excellent. He was very knowledgeable & polite and he didn’t mind sharing some of his experiences with us. We definitely enjoyed visiting all the places & learning the history. With the great experience we had, I’d definitely recommend them for any of the tours you’re looking to book.

We had a great afternoon private tour with Ash and Dr. Mohammed as our guide. Great communication before the tour, everything well-organized and easy. Ash adjusted the tour at the last minute and arranged for a delicious lunch on a felucca with great food and beer, it was fantastic! Really really well done, thank you Ash!!!

Both Ash and Mohammed were lovely, professional and really helpful throughout our West Bank tour. At one point we were without a ticket for Madinet Habu and Mohammed drove us to find the ticket office. Lovely car with great A/C!

Arranged for a full day in Luxor and morning balloon ride. Everything went as promised. Guides Emad and Michael were wonderful and knowledgeable. Balloon ride was fantastic. They are well connected to the community which made it more authentic. We had a tight window to get to the airport. And thanks to all of the crew, we were delivered on time with no problems. Ash gave us a bespoke tour of Luxor to suit all of our needs. We had four adults on the tour (one in 60s and one in 80s). We wanted an efficient tour without unnecessary hurdles of tourists. We also wanted to skip uninteresting things (eg tour of alabaster shops) and make sure that the older people in our group are weren’t tiring out Ash met all of our needs with a tailor-made tour. First, he met me the evening before at our hotel lobby and created the itinerary and prices out. Then, I paid him the total amount for our group using my credit card, and the following day his crew picked us up in their van and handled all ticket purchases. Great tip: pay extra to see the Tomb of Seti I and also the Tomb of Nefertari. The lack of crowds and the beauty of the tombs justify the extra cost. Ash’s crew took us there first while we had all our energy at the beginning of the day, and the sights were STUNNING.

Luxor was a great day experience for me and my friend. Even though it was a 1 day trip including a flight that was going to feel long wnd exhausting, it wasn’t at all. We had an amazing time and learned about all the most important temples. Also, logistics wise was great as everything went smoothly and punctual. Great experience and best guide.

I had an incredible experience with Luxor Private Tour! Ash knows how to set these trips/experiences up and someone from Luxor Private Tour was always there – from picking me up or dropping me off – his staff really took the whole experience to another level for me. Shayma was my amazing tour guide in Luxor – the sites were spectacular including the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. The sunrise hot-air balloon ride – my first – was breathtaking and just a joy to experience. Also toured the Kings Valley and the Hatshepsut Temple - wonderful. I ended my stay with a sunset Felucca ride on the Nile – where I was the captain for a good part of the journey – another thrilling experience – drop dead gorgeous. Things didn’t change when I continued my trip/experience in Cairo either. Was immediately greeted by Ash’s staff at the airport upon arrival from Luxor. Woke up to an amazing jaw-dropping view of the Great Pyramids and Sphinx and it just kept happening. Sherene my tour guide in Cairo was wonderful. Had a great day at the Egyptian museum and a unique local Egyptian cooking experience which I was really looking forward too. My final day highlights included Sakarra, the Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. Did I mention I rode a camel through the pyramids? Ash knew what I wanted and had set me up again with another local cooking experience – which again exceeded expectations. Thanks Ash – you took my bucket list trip and truly made it my bucket list great experience.

We got a very nice driver who picked us up from our Hilton Hotel in Luxor. Even he should only drive us around he mentioned many tips and cultural insides about the West Bank. The car was very new, in good condition, cool-fresh air-condition (which is life saving in Luxor in summer). We would book that tour again !

We had a fantastic day at the West Bank with our private driver. He picked us up in time and were very attentive and kind and patient. He know very well which areas and attractions to visit and even gave tips to avoid tourist queues. We will book again.

First of all, private tours are amazing bc you can make the most of whatever time you have & not waste any time on things you don’t wanna do. Our flight got in around 1 & we were still able to have a great afternoon tour exactly when we were ready. We loved the first day tour so much, we planned a day trip to Aswan & another half day in Luxor before we left. They bring the ancient places to life with stories of how people believed and lived. Both guides were passionate & knowledgeable. The drivers were also great (& safe) & can help with airport transfers or stopping anywhere else (like when I wanted to shop at a trusted place for jewelry). Our utmost thanks, Ghada & Mohammed!!!!!!

We did a two-day Luxor tour. There is a set agenda but Ashraf was flexible and we were able to add additional places (which we paid) and the guide/driving was included for free. This was very appreciated. Ashraf also accompanied us to Luxor center where we walked around and saw a different side of the city. He arranged at no additional cost transport to the restaurants at night and even invited us to his family home. We really enjoyed seeing all aspects of the city and enjoyed our time in Luxor thanks to him. We very much appreciated the personal touch that Ashraf added to our time in Luxor.

At Luxor we met Dr. Mohammed. He is a walking Wikipedia for all the Dynasties who ruled ancient Egypt. He explains in simple layman terms about the history of all the experiences (Valley of the Kings, Karnak and Luxor temple) and he is always willing to explain more. We are hoping to come back to Luxor for an another exciting trip, of course with Luxor Private Tours. Ash is a real professional!! He came to meet us personally- on the day we landed in Cairo- and assured us that everything is in safe hands. And that is a promise he kept till we were dropped off back at the Cairo Airport. He made arrangements as per our itinerary, made the schedule as per our comfort, and also flexible at times when required. When we travel with kids, being comfortable and safe is our main priority. At no point in our trip were we left feeling unsure or unsafe. And Ms. Shereen. She is another genius about the Egyptian history. Shereen is like our big sister. If you are traveling with kids, you must go with her. She can amaze you with her knowledge, and her timings are impeccable. Tl;dr: Communicate with Ash about what you want exactly. And he will arrange a memorable experience for you.

Wow! This was a long day but so so worth it! We arranged our own flights leaving Cairo early in the morning, arriving in Luxor around 8am and returning that same evening. The tour company booked us a private driver to and from Cairo airport, and we were met in Luxor by a driver and tour guide for the day Mohammed. We learnt pretty quickly that we were so lucky to have Mohammed as a guide. He was a university researcher and egyptologist with incredible in-depth knowledge of Egypt's history, ancient hieroglyphics, techniques and rituals, as well as modern excavation and preservation methods. He was also so friendly and a wonderful person to spend the day with. Our full day tour of Luxor included 3 stops on the west bank (1.Colossi of Memnon, 2.Valley of the kings, 3. An alabaster factory run by the family of the boy who helped Howard Carter discover the entrance to King Tut's tomb, 4. Mortuary temple of Hatshepshut) - all were fantastic! We then had the option of going to a restaurant for lunch or picking up the food and eating on a boat while cruising the nile - we opted for the latter and it was one of the highlights of the trip for me. We had the boat to ourselves and spent an hour or so relaxing, eating and talking with Mohammed while floating down the nile. We then docked on the east side of the river and were met by our driver once again for the afternoon activities. These included 2 sites on the east bank (1. Karnak temple, and 2. Luxor temple) both well worth the visit. We finished off with a drink at a cafe overlooking Luxor temple and local activity of the street below while sun began to set. We said goodbye to Mohammed and were transported back to the airport by our driver. It was a seamless and enjoyable day from sun up to sun down. I am so glad we included Luxor in our trip as it was a refreshing change from Cairo where we felt we got to see more of the real Egypt of today and a chance to step back into ancient times as well. Thanks for a day to remember!

We had a full day private tour of Luxor. Mr. Ashraf was very kind and helped us set everything up. From the nice and comfortable brand new 7 seater vehicle to the our amazing English speaking tour guide Ms. Ghada, to the lovely driver Mr. mohamed, this trip was absolutely amazing. Best Guide, Group named "Familia" and it really was like a trip with your Family. Would love to do it again. And it was very interesting, too. Saw the temples and graves, the river Nile parts of luxor and a plantage for bananas. The real life of people, outside the world of Tourism, like in Hurghada. It is really impressive. Great guide, Great Spots! Our guide planed a boat Tour on the Nil to a very magical, kind of secret Spot called Banana Island. A Great possibility to get in Touch with the historical feeling of LUXOR! Ist was more than worth the Money!!! My bf and I joined the day trip to Luxor from Hurghada that Luxor Private Tour kindly arranged for us. The tour was interesting and quite intense, as we went from temple of Karnak to valley of the kings and Temple of Hatshepsut among other stops. We had a limited budget so we opted for the group tour instead of private tour. The tour guide was well informed and nice but as we were with other tourists in the group, he had to switch between Polish and English which in the end made the communication a little hectic. The trip itself was definitely fully packed with monuments and interesting information. As in value for money, I think it’s definitely worth the ticket price. Communication was fast and organization was also quite easy before the trip.Thank you for the experience! :)

Ashraf was almost 24/7 available to answer all our queries, listen us, get and understand our needs. He is nice, punctual guy, who makes nice jokes with us, kids, and polite, and friendly guy. In a short time he arranged nice Van for my family(only for 4 of us 😀), meet us in train station. Although train was 2 hours late, however he was checking himself arrival time, meet us personally, took us to hotel, talk with reception for us, waited for us in lobby to wait for us taking shower and getting ready, made all efforts to make everything smooth and fun. He quickly arranged tour guide - Mrs Ghara, who could speak english nicely, talked in detail about east bank temples, answered all our questions regarding historical events etc. Mrs Ghara and Ashraf throughout the trip tried to avoid extra and expensive charges, explained us where we can buy stuff cheaper, even negotiated for us in shops to get everything cheap - even water which had very small price difference. Thanks to Ashraf for all his efforts, being so friendly, understanding and being patient with our needs. First time I saw such a nice business guy, but who cared just to make our day, doing this business for fun, and doing with love rather than caring about earning money. Thanks. I am happy i met him. I recommend him to all, and will recommend him to all my friends when i am back. By the way, we continue our journey. Will give my reviews on continuing journey.

I was very lucky that I met Ashraf in Luxor during my journey around Egypt by bicycle. He hosted me at his house for two days before continuing my trip to Aswan. For the first time in my life I flied in a BALLOON!! It was a wonderful experience, it started at 4 am as agreed and started flying before sunrise unlike other balloons, it was almost an hour in which I saw the whole western bank monuments and so wide areas of fields .. I expected that the landing would be A bit difficult, but the pilot was very good... Return was about 6.45 am I highly recommend Ashraf and his company "Luxor Private Tours" very much because he is a so organized & clear person and takes care of his appointments, unlike many Egyptians, hahaha Thanks bro for Everything!

Abdoul is a an amazing guide, he loves what he does. I had a great day, visiting many historical temples. The way Abdoul explains you the history, the stories of the Ancient Egypt, makes you feel that you were at this ancient time. I would recommend 200% this man. We did the one day visit of Luxor with Abdul from Luxor Private Tour. Abdul is a professional person, he talks about history with so many simplicity that he makes you want to know more about it. You can easily feel how passioned he is, and that is really good ! We visited both sides, first Memnon status, King Valley and Hatchepsout temple. We crossed the Nile during a simple but amazing egyptian lunch on a small private boat. In the afternoon, we visited Karnak temple and Luxor temple. Then back to the hotel. Also Abdul helped us in booking the hot air balloon for the day after, even if it was not proposed by his agency. He is really helpful and honest ! This day will remain unforgettable for me as one of the best souvenir in my life !

Abdul came highly recommended by friends -- and he lived up to our expectations! We spent two days travelling around Luxor (both East and West banks), seeing the Karnak temple complex, Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings and other major sights. He shaped the tour to our requirements (including on the day), and organised a lunch for two on a boat on the Nile, which was a wonderful experience. He is an archaeologist, extremely knowledgeable, can answer all your questions, and clearly has a passion for history, which made the tour very special. The whole tour, on both days, was free of stress. Abdul dealt with all the practicalities, and made sure we weren't hassled by touts or anyone like this. (He also took Covid seriously, telling us when we should wear masks.) The rates were very reasonable. For visiting several places, and having lunch on the Nile, with a driver and Abdul accompanying us across two days, the total (including our tips) was EGP4000 for two people (GBP200 or USD250). We would recommend Abdul without hesitation to friends and family, just as we had him recommended to us. And we would definitely return!

We booked a tour from the east to the west Bank with my family. The overall experience was Amazing. From the beginning of the day until the very end, Ashraf excelled. The company did their best to make it an unforgettable experience which it was. I give it an overall rating of 10/10 and will for sure book with them again.

We had the pleasure of taking a private 2 day tour with Luxor Private Tours which was recommended to us by a family friend. Abdo is a great, friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable tour guide!! My brother and I are in our 30’s and avid travelers, we were impressed by not only the amount of information he knew about Egypt but he is very passionate and excited to share his knowledge with visitors. The entire process was professional and organized perfectly. He was also flexible and allowed us to make some changes the day of and offered additional options based on what he learned about our specific interests. In addition to the temples and tombs of East & West Bank we rode a Felucca on the Nile, visited a perfume museum and visited the craftsman of Qurna. As we walked around the amazing sights and streets it was clear he was beloved in the community which made us feel even more safe! I like to take pictures and shop and I thank Abdo for his patience :) By the end of the tour we were friends!! They also arranged our airport transportation which was really helpful! Can’t wait to visit Egypt again!!!

We visited the west bank of the Nile, temples of Hatshepsut and Medinet Habut, Valleys of the Kings and Queens and Colossi of Memmon. The guide knew very well the history of Egypt and the temples and tombs visited, and answered all doubts. Fast and convenient transportation from Luxor and between visits. Fully recommended.
