Our time in Luxor and Aswan with Hany was exceptional. He was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly proud to share his country's history. He brought the temples and tombs to life with stories you won't find in a guidebook, handled every logistic smoothly, and made sure we were never rushed. Hany turned a great itinerary into a personal experience. If you're visiting Luxor or Aswan, ask for him.

Itinerary
Day 1
1
Part of an approximately two-hour visit to the Valley of the Kings. Ramses III is one possible regular tomb; the actual three tombs visited depend on opening and availability that day. With a guide option, hear the historical context and agree a meeting point before independent exploration inside, in line with site rules. Standard admission is included only with the Entry Tickets option. Tutankhamun and other special tombs cost extra.
Ramses IX is another possible regular tomb during the same Valley of the Kings visit. Explore its painted burial corridors if open; a different standard tomb may be visited depending on availability. This stop is part of the three regular tombs covered by standard admission, which is included only with the Entry Tickets option.
Merenptah is one possible regular tomb within the same Valley of the Kings visit. Entry depends on which tombs are open that day; the actual selection may change. It requires the Valley of the Kings standard admission ticket and is not a free-entry site. Standard admission is included only with the Entry Tickets option. Special tomb tickets are separate optional extras.
Optional extra within the Valley of the Kings, only if requested and open on the day. This tomb requires its own ticket and is not included in any standard Entry Tickets package. Agree the extra cost and time before purchase. Travelers who skip it continue with the regular tomb visit.
Visit the terraced mortuary temple of Hatshepsut beneath the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Explore its courtyards and reliefs, with time for photographs. With a guide option, learn about her reign and the temple's setting before exploring at your group's pace. Standard admission is included only with the Entry Tickets option.
Standing tall and silent at the entrance to the Theban necropolis, the Colossi of Memnon are two massive seated statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, each rising over 18 meters high. These iconic monuments have watched over Luxor’s West Bank for more than 3,400 years and once guarded the entrance to a now-vanished mortuary temple. Though weathered by time and legend—especially the ancient tales of the "singing statue"—they remain one of Luxor’s most photographed and awe-inspiring landmarks.
Pass the area of the Tombs of the Nobles, also known as the Valley of the Nobles, along the West Bank route. This is a pass-by only, with no tomb entry included. A separate visit can be discussed in advance and is subject to opening hours, extra time and an agreed additional charge.
Pass the area of Howard Carter's former home on the West Bank route. This is a pass-by only; entry to the house and museum is not part of the standard itinerary. Any requested visit must be arranged and priced separately in advance.
Pass the Ramesseum, the mortuary temple of Ramses II, on the West Bank route. This is not an interior temple visit. Entry can be considered as an optional extra, subject to opening hours and an agreed additional charge and schedule.
Pass the Temple of Seti I area on the West Bank route. This mortuary temple is separate from Seti I's tomb in the Valley of the Kings. The standard itinerary does not include entering the temple; any requested visit is an optional extra agreed and priced in advance.
Day 2
2
Explore Karnak during a visit of about two hours. Highlights include the Temple of Amun, the Hypostyle Hall, the sacred lake, the Temple of Ramesses III and the obelisks of Hatshepsut and Thutmose I where accessible. With a guide option, enjoy historical context, questions and photo breaks as you walk through the complex. Standard admission is included only with the Entry Tickets option.
See a section of the ancient processional avenue near the temple entrances and learn about its connection with the Opet festival when a guide is selected. This short stop does not include walking the entire avenue between Karnak and Luxor. Access follows the sites' opening rules and the entrance-ticket option booked.
Spend about one hour exploring Luxor Temple, its courtyards, columns and statues. With a guide option, discover the roles of Amenhotep III and Ramses II and the temple's connection with the Opet festival. Allow time for photos and independent exploration. Standard admission is included only with the Entry Tickets option; an illuminated evening visit is not guaranteed.
Pass the Mummification Museum on the Nile Corniche. The standard East Bank visit covers Karnak and Luxor Temple; entry to this museum is not included. If interested, request a separate visit in advance so availability, extra time and the additional cost can be confirmed.

Amazing time really enjoyed the visit Very friendly and excellent service
We had such a lovely time with our tour guide! He was engaging and kept our 15 year old daughter and 11 year old son interested the whole time.
We had such a wonderful experience with Hani. From the beginning, everything felt easy and well taken care of. Hani is incredibly knowledgeable, but what really stood out was how natural and comfortable he made the whole experience feel. It never felt like a “tour,” more like being shown around by someone who genuinely cares that you’re enjoying your time. He paced everything perfectly and was very thoughtful about how we moved through each site, which made a huge difference. We always felt relaxed, never rushed, and able to really take everything in. He’s also just a lovely person to spend time with. Warm, kind, and very easy to talk to. The kind of guide you’d feel comfortable recommending to close friends or family without hesitation. This was one of the highlights of our trip, and we’re so glad we had Hani with us. Highly recommend.
Amazing tour. Very detailed and knowledgeable guide Hany Yassen and comfortable air conditioned car with great driver Hisham. I learned so much and at a great pace. Fully tailored private tour. Couldn’t ask for more.
Enjoyed our tour. Hany was knowledgeable, and was able to accommodate our schedules and was very flexible. Glad we broke the tour up into two days.
Wonderful, affordable experience and extremely convenient. I was very happy to see so many sites around Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings and the Colossi of Memnon. The guide was very helpful and made sure to curate the experience to my desires. Great value, highly recommended!
Hani is the best Tour Guide you can wish for! So much knowledge about the Egyptian 🇪🇬 history and culture! This tour was the highlight of my trip in Luxor, highly recommended! May I add, the best photographer as well!
We were fortunate to have Mr. Hany meet us in Luxor as our guide for the rest of our Egypt trip. He was wonderful. He and his driver met us at the airport and took us to the ship for our Nile Cruise. They got us settled and then took us to all the sites in the surrounding areas. Hany stayed with us on the cruise and toured with us to the temples and sites along the way to Aswan. He was always very knowledgeable about the history and highlights of each stop. He was always concerned for our well being. He accompanied us to the airport in Aswan and we flew to Abu Simbel for a few hours and then flew back to Cairo then home. Hany was great.
It’s was a wonderful trip. We took a tour with Luxor visits. Our guide is a great person with very good knowledge. We enjoyed the trip to the valley of kings.
We had the absolute pleasure of spending two days in Luxor with Haney from Luxor Visits, and he was truly outstanding. From the moment we met him, his passion for Egyptian history was infectious. At Karnak Temple and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, he brought the stories of the ancient world to life with such enthusiasm and detail that it felt like stepping back in time. Haney also guided us through the Valley of the Kings, where his descriptive explanations and deep knowledge made the experience unforgettable. What stood out most was how much he genuinely cared about making sure we had the best possible time—he always went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable, engaged, and enjoying every moment. If you’re visiting Luxor and want an incredible, knowledgeable, and passionate guide, we cannot recommend Haney highly enough. He made our trip truly special, and we’ll always remember our time with him. Thank you so much Haney! -Noor and family.
