Felucca Ride On The Nile In Luxor

We sailed around Elephantine Island and stopped at the Botanical Garden. The strong wind made the sailing a real adventure, but our skipper stayed perfectly calm and in control. Youssef made the trip enjoyable by showing us the surroundings and telling us about the area along the way. A fun and memorable way to experience Aswan!

The cities wr visited with Mohammed were Aswan, Luxor and Karnak. Mohammed has been a very friendly and competent guide, always ready to face our needs and very professional and skilled in Ancient Egyptian history. We spent three days with him, visiting all the major archaeological landmarks of upper Egypt and it was like a whole story has been told to us. Nothing was ever mechanic or staged, all made by naturally great person. Hope to see you soon, Habibi!

Ahmed is a very knowledgeable guide who took care of us at every visit. We visited Luxor, Aswan, took a 6 hour ride through the Arabian desert to see abu semble which was worth all the crazy driving in the desert. My favorite was an unplanned boat ride on the Nile to the Nubian village where we had great tea and saw a crocodile in the Nubian home. He actually stayed 2 nights in Aswan to take great care of us.

Mohamed was a great guide. He joined us in a faluca trip through the sunset. He gave us good tips and told us many interesting things about Luxor. Thanks also to the captain Hamada and our driver Salah.

I had an excellent time with Mohamed! He is a friendly and knowledgeable guide, and really let us enjoyed the time on the Nile river. There was so much Egyptian hospitality and comfortable seating. I got to enjoy the entire boat tour selves, and we even had tea while watching the sunset. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit!

I’ve always wanted to visit Luxor but wasn’t sure which route to take because of all the different sites. We were introduced to Samah and she was by far the best tour guid that we’ve ever had… hands down! Her vast knowledge of Egyptian history is incredible. This was such a memorable experience all because of her. I would do it again in a heartbeat and I would recommend her to anyone visiting Egypt.

I highly recommend taking a 4:30 or 5:00 pm sail boat ride down the calm of the Nile in Luxor. We requested a quick stop in banana island. A private 20 minute sail trip from our hotel at the Hilton Luxor (highly recommend to anyone who wants class and service). Hamada, was prompt and professional. He explained the Nile and communicated between the local villagers for us. Hamada made our trip comfortable and safe. The felucca boat ride was driven by 3 guys, 2 were young boys, quiet and well behaved. They deserved the tip! Make sure to tip well.

We booked a private boat trip on the Nile. Our guide Omar Jassin was punctual, very accommodating, and even flexible after the tour to assist us. Very good guide and friendly.

I felt very reassured because the guide contacted me politely on WhatsApp before the tour. Since it was a sea voyage on a sailing ship, I was deeply impressed by the helmsman's skill and spent a peaceful time feeling the wind. The guide maintained a comfortable distance and took care of many things so that we could enjoy the tour. They also have professional-level skills in taking photos and videos, and they took and shared many photos of us during the tour. I had a memorable experience on the last night in Luxor. Very nice escort, Omar was super punctual and very attentive to us. Captain Hamada did everything very well, we felt very comfortable. Highlight: The Egyptian tea on the roof of the boat.

The experience of watching the sunset on the Nile from a felucca without noise, only with the wind, is great. Thanks to our guide Ahmed Hamdy, who facilitated everything for us and surprised us with tea on the top of the felucca as if it were a wonderful chill-out area.

We had a great boat tour! Because the season had not yet begun, we were out all alone and were able to fully enjoy the peace and the beautiful view. Captain Hamada was our captain, Faris his assistant, and Mohamed was there as a representative of Sun Pyramids Tours in Luxor. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and the whole trip was simply wonderful. We can highly recommend this!
