Itinerary
Day 1
1
Upon arrival in Luxor, whether at your hotel, the Luxor airport, or the railway station, a representative will greet you and transfer you to your 5-star Nile cruise ship. If you arrive early (recommended), we'll begin the tour immediately to make the most of your time and avoid waiting in the lobby for the 12:00 PM check-in. This also helps us avoid the midday heat.
Witness the grandeur of Karnak, an awe-inspiring testament to ancient achievement. Spanning 247 acres, this colossal temple complex reveals the architectural prowess of bygone builders and pharaohs.
Built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II, Luxor Temple provides a backdrop for rituals blending the human aspect of rulers with divine reverence, a captivating journey through ancient history.
After your tour, you will return to the cruise ship for dinner on board. You will spend the night aboard the cruise ship in Luxor, enjoying a comfortable and restful stay.
Day 2
2
Early in the morning, we will pick you up for an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the West Bank of Luxor. You'll enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the cityscape and famous landmarks during this 40 to 60-minute ride.
Admire one of Ancient Egypt's most beautiful and best-preserved temples. Built on three levels with wide ramps, it stands as a testament to the architectural prowess of its time.
Behold the colossal stone statues of King Amenhotep III, remnants of a complete mortuary temple. Crafted from quartzite sandstone, these statues are awe-inspiring examples of ancient craftsmanship.
This majestic valley, now called the Valley of the Kings, was the final resting place of the Pharaohs, who were laid to rest in grand stone sarcophagi, awaiting immortality. You'll have the opportunity to explore the complex and see the tombs and resting places of notable Egyptian kings such as Merneptah, Ramesses III, and Ramesses VI.
After the morning excursions, we will return to the cruise ship. By afternoon, the cruise will set sail towards Edfu City through the Esna Lock. Enjoy lunch onboard and relax on the sundeck, taking in the unique landscapes and the beautiful scenery of the Nile River. Savor your afternoon tea on the sundeck as you cross the Esna Lock. Dinner will be served on board, and you'll spend the night docked in Edfu City.
Day 3
3
After breakfast on board, we'll visit the Edfu Temple, renowned as the most well-preserved temple in Egypt. Dedicated to the hawk-god Horus, this Ptolemaic temple was constructed on the site of an earlier temple and dates back to the period between the reigns of Ptolemy III (237 B.C.). The temple's walls feature descriptions of the myth of the contention between Horus and Seth, likely performed annually as a religious drama.
Following the temple visit, we'll return to the cruise ship. While sailing to Kom Ombo City, you can relax on the sundeck, soaking in the unique landscapes and the beauty of the Nile River. Lunch will be served on board, along with afternoon tea on the sundeck. Upon arrival in Kom Ombo City, we'll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple, located 45 kilometers north of Aswan, was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the god Horus the Elder. Built in 180 B.C. by the Ptolemaic dynasty during the Roman invasion, the temple's unique location on the riverbank between Edfu and Aswan makes it an ideal stop for Nile cruises.
After the temple visit, we'll sail towards Aswan. Dinner will be served on board, followed by a Galabyia party for a fun-filled evening. You'll spend the night in Aswan City.
Day 4
4
After breakfast on board, your day will begin with a visit to the High Dam, an engineering marvel completed in 1960 to control the flooding of the Nile and to generate electricity. The scale of the Aswan High Dam is truly awe-inspiring, stretching 3600 meters in length, 980 meters in thickness at the base, and rising to a height of 111 meters at its highest point. Behind the dam lies Lake Nasser, the largest man-made lake in the world, providing irrigation water and electricity for the entire country of Egypt. Situated 13 kilometers south of Aswan, the High Dam is a testament to human ingenuity and achievement.
Following the visit to the High Dam, we'll proceed to Philae Temple. This Greco-Roman temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, is accessed via a short motorboat ride. Situated on Aglika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam, Philae Temple is renowned for its picturesque setting. The temple complex was relocated to its current location after the construction of the High Dam threatened to submerge it permanently. Philae Temple flourished during the Ptolemaic Dynasty as the center of the cult of Isis. It remained one of the last bastions of ancient Egyptian religion after the advent of Christianity in Egypt, officially closing only in 551 AD. Subsequently, the main temple on the island was repurposed as a Christian church by early Christians.
After exploring Philae Temple, we'll return to your Nile cruise ship. Lunch and dinner will be served on board, followed by a folkloric show in the evening. Optionally, you can join a tour to visit the Nubian Village. You'll spend the night docked in Aswan.
Day 5
5
Around 4:30 AM, you will check out from your Nile cruise ship. We will then pick you up to embark on a visit to the Abu Simbel Temple as part of a shared small group tour. Abu Simbel is one of the most impressive and iconic sites in Egypt, featuring rock-cut temples commissioned by King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. These temples are renowned for their unique design and are considered masterpieces of ancient Egyptian architecture, reflecting the grandeur of the New Kingdom era. The temples of Abu Simbel, with their unparalleled style, showcase the glory and grandeur of ancient Egypt. To preserve these remarkable structures from the floodwaters of Lake Nasser, the Egyptian government and UNESCO collaborated on a project to relocate them. The Temple of Ramesses II, known as the Sun Temple, was dedicated to the universal gods Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II himself.
Following the awe-inspiring visit to Abu Simbel, we will return to Aswan. From there, we will arrange your transfer to the Aswan Airport, railway station, or your hotel in Aswan. Lunch will not be included, but you will be provided with a breakfast box for your journey.

The crew was so helpful, the food variation was great and it taste so nice especially the dishes from the Egyptian cuisine. Thank you for the great experiment.
Really great, dealing with this reliable company, the staff is professional and sophisticated in dealing, the driver with us was delicious
This was so enjoyable. Everything from the hot air balloon ride to the Nile journey and visiting the temples was great. I hope to revisiting egypt again in the future
It is good to do this trip with your friends because it will be very enjoyable with them. I note that this trip is complete from all aspects.
It is amazing that you have combined all these trips in one program. The boat is excellent, the food is very good, the boat staff are very courteous, and the hot air balloon ride is a thing of the imagination.
I enjoyed the wonderful view from the hot air balloon ride in luxor and the Journey in the nile river to aswan and finish with great temple of abo senbel.
Well at least they showed up, brought us to the cruise and fortunately the ship didn't sink. Sadly as far as everything else is concerned we're not really satisfied. Let's start from the beginning: none of the 3 drivers who took us from Marsa Alam to Luxor could speak english, we changed car (apparently with no reason) twice and we spent 5 hours (not 3 as it should be) on the Road. And everytime we asked how long it would had taken to arrive the lied saying "one hour". Photos of the ship's cabins on the website and TripAdvisor are not reliable, the interiors have nothing to do with what is shown. Our room on the ship was cold and there was no heating system (we heated the room with the sunlight by opening the curtains in the afternoon...). With regard to the cruise itself there were no real problems, we knew that for that price we wouldn't have been on a luxury cruise...but beverage was excluded from the price we've paid (even though nobody told us in advance. we paid for full board and not even a bottle of water was included) and the vegan options we've asked for - and they granted - weren't always avaliable. The gym was literally fake: there were a non working treadmill and a nonworkyng cyclette and 3 small weights. Stop. But the real problems arise when we talk about guides and tours. We've asked for italian speaking guides and what we had were just people who could barely speak english. They never really explained anything, I think that none of them was really a tour guide since the whole tour looked like an improvisation (few, disconnected information with no historical context)... We've also paid to go flying on the balloons. So we woke up ealry, and they let us wait for an hour on a boat on the Nile (at the cold, nearby a gas discharge of a big ship...) for nothing because the balloons experience was eventually cancelled. When asked "why?" the guides told us that there was too much wind, and that for our own safety we couldn't take flight. But after an half hour the sky was filled with balloons. When asked "why?" the guides lied saying "training" - but it wasn't true, as we would soon find out. So we woke up at 4:30 and we just waited. Waited at the reception. waited outside. Waited in another hotel. Yes, because there was no plan B for the cancelled activity. Finally at 12:30 we arrived at the second provided stage of the day. About the third, Memnon, we didn't even went close, the "guide" was too busy arguing with a woman about money. And we had to finish quickly because they had to lead us to a perfume shop where nobody wanted to go. I mentioned all those things to the tour operator, asking at least for a refund of the balloon activity. And nobody answered. What else can I say, some visit lasted for 10 minutes, like Memnos and the high dam. And many other were hasty and superficial. One last thing: better booking via TripAdvisor even and not privately, at least you can ask for a refund.
You definitely needed this tour just to get relief from busy schedule.. price is not too expensive if we compared to others.
The airport pickup was convenient, but be prepared for extra costs related to entrance fees. Despite this minor issue, the tour was highly enjoyable and I would recommend.
A trip that combines all the requirements you desire, balloons, monuments and the Nile, this is really amazing and beautiful
We had a lot of fun on the boat and the whole trip was enjoyable and the enchanting Abu Simbel Temple deserves praise.♥️♥️
I want this wonderful trip again. I really enjoyed it a lot. I really recommend everyone to try it Thank you for this respected company
I was alone but I didn't feel it because I was enjoying this wonderful trip so much The hot air balloon is amazing and the Nile is amazing
A very enjoyable and beautiful trip, I highly recommend it, Nile wonderful hot air balloon ride And all the archaeological monuments
If you want to have relaxing tour which also help you guys to gain knowledge about ancient times, this is for you guys. I'm totally fine with these guys I contact them by seeing feedback from other people which help me alot.
Accomodation was good and the meals were also amazing. The assistance provided by staff members throughout the trip was greatly appreciated. Just be aware of the additional costs for entrance fees, but overall, it was an unforgettable Trip.
Cruise itself was bit outdated but inside it rooms were clean , food was delicious, sitting area and other facilities were available.
The Nile itself is beautiful, but the cruise felt a bit outdated. The ship's entertainment was stuck in 80s. But overall it was refreshing experience.
Somehow our arrival times did not arrive and unfortunately nobody picked us up. Only after a panic call to VIP Tours Eygpt did someone come. Our cabin did not look like in the picture and we paid 600 dollars for an upgrade to another boat!!! Overall, I was disappointed. Our balloon ride did not take place due to weather conditions. The rest of the tours , friendly staff and food quality were good. But I expect a money refund from the trip advisor !!! Request for contact. Thank you Barbara D
We had booked 2 months before this cruise based on the photos presented, the day before the start of the cruise as by chance our reservation was cancelled and he contacted us for himself saying upgrade us for 300 euros more. To our surprise, the proposed boat had nothing to do with the agency photos! It’s the Al fostate boat, old furniture dating from the 90s, an old bed, a dirty bathroom with hair, noisy air conditioning, a crappy staff, shabby Welcoming, they always make the mouth. We shortened our stay and at Welcoming, the receptionist handed us an envelope to tip. The tip is not due, the tip is when you are satisfied with the service, the Welcoming, the little touches not when you have in front of people who have no idea what these jobs consist of! Other tourists complained about the same scam as us when they heard our comment to the receptionist. So before booking anything check the name of the boat, do not pay in advance, ask for pictures!!! And even with all this you are not safe from surprises with this agency since once we paid because we had no choice, he did not answer our messages, we never knew what excursion we would make, what time with whom! Warning we do not recommend at all!
The boat was great, the food delicious and all the staff very attentive. We hired tour in Spanish and some guides didn’t really understand the language, they just memorized what they had to say but if I asked them any questions they didn’t understand. Ahmed (the person who was with us the whole time) was the best thing about the trip, always resolving and on the lookout. I recommend it if this is your first time in Egypt:) this cruise is a must.
We had a great trip. The Things to do/temple were incredible and Ahmed our guide knew so much about everything! It was a great way to see the country and learn about the culture. I would recommend it 100%.
The food on the ship was very delicious. The staff are very nice and the cabins are clean. Overall relaxing stay with good food. The pool was not clean. Unfortunately, the information on the website about the excursions is not always correct. Communication about the excursions was difficult as it is organized independently of the ship. Admission of Abu Simbel Temple is not included, the order of the excursions were also different with us than stated, we were informed about this at too short notice. It would be better if you only book the ship and the excursions on your own.
