5 Days Nile Cruise From Luxor To Aswan Including Hot Air Balloon & Abu Simbel

Generally it was a good experience, good organization and good itinerary to explore Luxor/Aswan with great tour guide Gamal, who was very knowledgeable and kind to take us pictures. Only problem was on the final day for drop off to our hotel. Our hotel was out of limits and we were informed by the agency one day before, making us run to look for transportation which is something that could have been prevented if the agency let us know in advance. This being said, the tour guide Gamal was very good. He tried his hardest to find a transportation solution for us. Overall it was a good experience, only problem was communication for the hotel drop off.

Excellent tour, well organized and punctual - it's not fast paced, with most activities during first part of the day. You can chill out on the second part of the day or do some optional activities. Boat and cabin were excellent, food was exceptionally good and crew very attentive. Out guide, Gamal, was excellent with great knowledge of Egyptian history. He is also very kind, nothing is too much trouble for him ! Book this tour, you will love it !

It was a very pleasant journey and one that I would repeat again. The rooms on board were very clean, comfortable with good food and excellent serivce on board. Beyond that the add on packages like the hot air balloon and the trip to Abu Simbel were both very well organised and have left lasting impressions. A special call-out to our guide Gamal who made the whole experience come alive for us at every place by explaining every scene and patiently answering all our questions. He also accompanied us one on one in Luxor after the trip for 2 days where we visited locations like Temple of Dendaraa and other sites on West Bank that were not part of the tour package.

Our guide Gamal was really good, he had a great knowledge about everything we visited, organized the practical things very well, was very reachable and he really listened to us and took into account our wishes. The cruise was amazing, so was the trip with the balloon. We were only a bit disappointed by the agency itself because they asked us the day before the tour would start if we wanted to upgrade our group tour into a private tour for 100 US dollars. We said we were ok with a group tour so no, and then it turned out we were the only participants anyway in that tour, so it felt like they just tried to make some extra money of us.

We are just finishing a wonderful cruise on the Royal adventure. I've enjoyed every meal, the beds are comfortable and the staff lovely. Our guide Gamal was superb too Highly recommend

My girlfriend and I booked this wonderful cruise as it seemed the best option to explore the Ancient Egyptian sites between Luxor and Aswan - from Karnak and Luxor Temples, all the way south to Abu Simbel. Every morning we left early with our guide Gamal and our arranged transport, to go to different sites, and we were dropped back on time for lunch. The afternoon was free for relaxation or for additional activities suggested by our guide when possible - we chose to spend the days relaxing by the pool, or walking around by ourselves, but it was nice to have the option to do something. About our guide Gamal - he gave us valuable insights and answered every question we had about the Ancient Egyptians and what we saw in the sites (even the obscure questions!!!) with plausible and amusing explanation. We even discussed new theories, and I could really see how passionate he is on the topic. I totally recommend him! About the cruise - everyone was very polite and respectful, always there to assist. The room was quite spacious. The food variety was well-suited for carnivores or vegetatians - many kinds of salads, cooked veggies, pasta, rice, beans, meat and seafood, even ostrich for dinner once! In addition there were thematic parties twice for those willing to dance. A great experience overall and I can recommend booking it if you decide to explore this part of the world.

We had such an amazing time in Egypt, and months later, we are still talking about it. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Our guide, Ayman, was actually from Aswan and it was incredible to see all the local places and learn about the ancient, and current cultures. We went to places and learned things would never have experienced had we tried to do the trip solo. Also, a lot of friends have asked me about this so I'll say it here, Egypt was VERY SAFE. Even the time we spent in Cairo, we never felt uneasy. There are even laws protecting tourists, which I've never heard of before. Such an amazing adventure and highly, HIGHLY recommended.

Hello everyone. We took a Nile cruise with my husband on Radamis 2 on 26.12-30.12.22. We had cabin 301. Unfortunately, when we left our packed suitcases, spray and all the shower stuff were stolen from us while we were still in the cabin. Now we're in a seaside resort and we don't even have soap. We spent a very good time on this Nile cruise. At the beginning we were afraid to book one because of all bad comments on Internet. Then we found this one that looked good. Thanks a lot to our guide Gemy, he was the main piece in our trip. We learned many things and Egyptian mythologies. Each time it was interesting, funny, not too short and not too long, it was perfect. He was always available for us, and each day we had all information about program to not miss anything. He even told us when we had to tip or not, he was during all the trip, from Louxor to Aswan and Abu Simbel. The boat was good except when we were parked, there were always others boats next to our, so we didn't have any view... not cool. Rooms are ok but bathroom is smelly, we asked other people and it was the same so not only ours. Food was good but not extraordinary. Servers were really nice.

We enjoyed our Nile cruise a lot. Our guide was Mr Gamal and we were happy to have him for the whole duration of the trip. He is really knowledgeable, everything went according to plan and he was flexible in meeting our needs when necessary. Every day he made sure we had all the information about the planning for the following day. Our boat was the M/S Montecarlo which was overall pretty good. The food was excellent, the room was spacious and clean (except for a constant bad smell from the bathroom). Communication with the agency was very good and always though WhatsApp. I would recommend this tour.

We were a group of friends all of us enjoyed the tours and temples especially Abu simbel and the hot air balloon but my favourite was Karnak temple the largest one in Egypt Thank you so much let's discover Egypt for the life time trip

my husband & I spent on Nile cruise travelling south from Luxor to Aswan. beds are comfy, and the local guide engaged was very knowledgable and impressed on us every detail of every palace, Valley of the Kings, tombs, etc. We were actually very grateful to have gone in July. Yes, it is perishing hot, we were glad to have only 100 approx tourists in each of the tombs with us, as there was no jostling for photo ops, and plenty of time to view everything. That's the plus side of coming in the heat. We enjoyed the hot air balloon and abu simbel too , we will get back

Going to Egypt and taking the cruise tour was the best decision we made. It was very easy with Sultan as our tour guide to learn everything about Egyptian history and explore the bazaars at night. I went with my wife and some friends who had a birthday and sultan went above and beyond to recommend a wonderful excursion and brought a cake for our friend. Highly recommend this tour if you’re on the fence about going on a cruise for 5 days!

Our tour guide Sultan was my favorite part of our tour! I went with a group of friends (7 in total) and he made each and everyone one of us feel special. Not only does this tour include the hot air balloon and many temples, our Egyptologist was absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond to help us find every single item we wanted to purchase and learn about! Even when we weren’t have the best experience, he listened to us to make things right! The cruise was fantastic with great food! I highly recommend!

Sultan was an absolutely fantastic guide! I had such a good time, and Egypt was one of the most fascinating places I've ever been. Sultan was extremely well versed in the history of ancient Egypt, and taught me so much. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Egypt.

So, our cruise got cancelled a few days before we were set to depart but Ali with Let’s Discover Egypt arranged alternate plans for us and all I can say is the trip far exceeded expectations!!! We got to see Abu Simbel, the Aswan high dam, Philae temple, Kom Ombo, Edfu, Luxor and Karnak temples, and we also did the hot air balloon ride and the West Bank tour (valley of the kings and colossi of Mennon). All along our journey, Let’s Discover Egypt checked in with us to ensure we were having a great time and that we were well looked after. Our guide, Mohammed Saleh, was incredibly knowledgeable - I could point to nearly any scene in any temple and he knew exactly what it meant or could give the multiple explanations in cases where it’s unclear. He provided detailed explanations of each site to provide the framework and give meaning to what we were looking at, which would be impossible to do on your own. He was also extremely helpful with any cultural questions we had - from tipping etiquette to food, etc. Special shout out to our drivers, Mohammed and Ayman who were trustworthy and kind, and the hot air balloon operators from Sindbad who was also a very fun crew. All in all, this touring company works with a great team of professional freelancers, and it made for an unforgettable experience of the best Egypt has to offer. Highly recommend!

It was one of the nicest experiences i have ever had. After that, I was even more fascinated by ancient Egypt. The tour was very well organized and the tourist guide Sultan in particular was excellent. The ship is very great and has delicious food. The staff are all very friendly. I can definitely recommend it.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! I don't know where to begin. From the beautiful views, to historical temples, to great food, everything seams like a dream now when is over. Our tour guide Mohamed Saleh made this experience even better. Good command of the English language, knowledgeable and very passionate about history. The Hot Air Balloon ride was awesome and I recommend it to everybody. I wanted to visit Egypt for years and I finally made it!

The cruise is a great idea, it is incredible, very beautiful, with a great view both night and day, good food is available and drinks run by cue already own, meet people from many places, the same that make the stay very enjoyable, and the unforgettable holiday. Museum tours are well coordinated, although it may coincide with many people and the place is a bit crowded. A good communication with the provider via WhatsApp, the same always watching over us. An unforgettable experience.

All services were perfect from Welcoming to visits to temples and meals. The cabins were fine too and were cleaned daily, had the necessary equipment and boat hosts meeting the requests Paid services such as buying water and laundry while remaining affordable (except for water) The guides were really helpful and were all kind and helpful Only flat that of Egypt tip needed for almost everything raising the final price We even got a free extra activity.
