We are a mature couple and were on a private tour with Imperial. We had a wonderful time on our 5-day cruise and the activities organized for us. One thing we learned is to appreciate that there are many moving parts in a trip like this and not everything goes as per the initial schedule. However, in our case, everything worked well and we did not miss any of the activities. We had different guides at every stop, and all were professional and knowledgeable with good communication. Thank you Talaat, Asmaa, Hady, and Mohamed. We were on the Beau Rivage cruise ship and it was quite luxurious with great food. I would recommend Imperial Egypt without reservation.

Admire the massive stone statues of the Colossi of Memnon, and the mortuary temples of the Temple of Hatshepsut. Reviews
The trip overall was very well coordinated and planned. We were provided with excellent food, service and hospitality from the company. All tour guides and drivers were on time to take us and drop us off to our ship. Very satisfied. One of the best organized trips we have been to.
The Cruise Ship itself was very nice. Very much a 'Titanic' feel to it so felt quite authentic and old. But rooms were clean. Service was great and they really looked after us. As vegetarians, there was a lot of salad options, and they took pride in making sure there was enough hot vegetarian options for us. The tour was also very good. Some absolutely beautiful sites. Our tour guide was knowledgable. However, I felt the tours were quite rushed and we didn't get enough time at all the sites, and sometimes we were waiting around for the day to start. The balloon ride was a great addition. However, I feel the timing wasn't great, as there weren't a lot of balloons in the air (as was the case when we did the experience in Turkey). Once again, our day didn't start on time. Overall, a lovely experience.
Don't get me wrong the experience of ancient Egypt was fantastic! But the organizers of the trip were terrible, awful communication and were left in some UNSAFE situations. Stranded on desert roads in the middle of the night. Additionally if you do book this experience DO NOT get on the horse drawn carriages. They neglect the horses care, they're malnourished and dehydrated, skinny and boney, it's awful. They care more about your tip than the health of the horse.
Just completed the most amazing Egyptian vacation and we couldn’t have done it without Hany! The best thing Hany did for us, was to provide us with the Very Best tour guide- Hady! Hady was unbelievably helpful, knowledgeable, hospitable, patient and kind! By the end of the trip we felt like we were saying goodbye to family! If you are planning a trip to Egypt, do yourself a favour and ask for Hady!
Amazing!! From the early planning with Hany who was responsive and accommodating and who provided us with a tour guide extraordinaire named Hady...Hady exceeded our expectations with his exceptional knowledge of everything Egypt and his welcoming personality. We were also thrilled with the cruise boat Crown Emperor. We would highly recommend this tour company....if you're considering Egypt for your next destination....ask for Hany and Hady...you won't be disappointed!
We were very pleased with the Nile cruise tour we took with Imperial Egypt . It's the second time we book with Hany in 2 years ( we went in 2022) on the same boat ( Crown Emperor). He was easy to deal with, very professional and did his best to give us a good price and accommodate our needs. This time we requested Hady as our guide as we had met him briefly 2 years ago and liked him. He is outstanding, we could not believe how knowledgeable he is and patient. He looked after our every need and even helped us with our shopping! Hady exceeded our expectations, we were very fortunate to have had him as our guide.
The whole trip was amazing. The crew and our guide (Mostafu Molattam) were so kind and helpful. Everyone coordinated the trip well so that the time was wisely used. I learnt so much about Egyptian antiquities and Mostafu answered all the questions I had. The Hot air ballon ride at Sunrise over Luxor was something not to missed and to celebrate my 70 th birthday on this trip made the occasion extra special. I was touched by the birthday cake and celebrations on board the ship.
This was an amazing 5 day 4 night cruise from Luxor to Aswan which included all the highlights of the Egyptian antiquities including visits to Karnak and other temples as well as valley of Kings and hot air balloon ride at sunrise. Our guide- Mustafa Molattam - was extremely knowledgeable and expertly organised to get the best out the very memorable trip. Thanks Mustafa!!
The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean. The cruice was very nice, with a wanderful terrace to see the sunset on the Nile. The food (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) was excellent and very varied. A special note for our guide, Mahmoud, who was very kind and competent, and was always attentive to our comfort.
We did the the cruise from Luxor to Aswan and had an amazing time especially with the help of our fantastic guide Mido. Mido was great at explaining the history at every location and gave us meaningful anecdotes without overwhelming us with information. Mido was extremely knowledgeable and was definitely an expert in Egyptian History. At every location, he would give an overview of the site, what we should look for and then always gave us some time to explore and take pictures ourselves. Mido's special ability of story telling kept a party of 8 with varied ages engaged and intrigued all through the week. He made sure the entrance tickets were purchased ahead of time and helped navigate the huge crowds at all the locations. In some of the down time in the boat Mido even taught us a few magic tricks! The boat was a fantastic way to travel between Luxor and Aswan. It was beautiful to look around and observe the natural Egyptian landscape from the sun deck while we were sailing. The staff on the boat were incredible. A special shoutout to Ahmed who take care of us during all our meals on the Sonesta Moon Goddess boat. A note for taller travelers, the bathrooms are small on the boat and the showers might be too short for some folks.
The cruise offered by Sonesta is very good. The Nile journey between Luxor and Aswan was pleasant as we got a view of daily life at Egypt. The tour guide Mido is excellent as during each location, he prepares us well and provides the necessary background info. The server at cruise, Ahmed, took care of us very well and his care was very genuine.
Thank you team, and especially Mahmood, my guide, for a spectacular experience. The trip took me back in time and left me wanting to come back someday soon!!!
The experience with Hany & Zyan as our guides was impeccable! Top notch! Cannot overstate how wonderful they were in both their knowledge & hospitality. I can’t recommend them highly enough. While I was disappointed in the actual boat and it’s accommodations and did not feel it was remotely close to a 5 star experience, the staff and the service was unmatched. Again, can’t go wrong with Hany and Zyan!
We really loved Philae temple and all the temples in Luxor. Our guide Mohammed (Mo 'Awad) really took care of all our needs. He's very kind, considerate, a good listener, and very very knowledgeable of all the ancient Egyptian sites. We learned so much about Egyptian history and culture from him, truly an unforgettable experience 💖
Mohammed went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a good time. We love Egypt and Mohammed added to the whole experience. His knowledge of the Egyptian history was vast and he e answered our questions about everything.
Visiting the tombs was exactly the experience we hoped for, especially King Tut. Loved the Nile cruise and staff was so friendly. Our tour guide Mohammed Ahmed was a well of knowledge, polite and accommodating. He made the trip enjoyable and everything went smoothly. Mohammed took us to a local bbq place where food was outstanding and we ended our trip with an amazing tour through Luxor. If Mohammed is your guide you will have a wonderful time.
We had a great time on the cruise, 2 days of actual cruising and the rest of the time temple stomping. Our guide Roshdy from Reflectionstravel was more than accommodating and looked after us every day. We learnt a lot about the history at each site we visited. Would highly recommend Roshdy as a guide.
We booked a tour with a car from Luxor to Aswan and back with a stop in Edfu. It was very well organized thanks to Mohamed who oversaw every detail and was very kind with us. He took us for a wonderful visit to Philae temple before leaving Aswan and it was fantastic. Mohamed is a very competent, friendly and thoughtful guide and I would recommend him to anybody wishing to visit this part of Egypt.
Imperial Egypt took care of everything, from our transport to and from Cairo to our guide every step of the way. We were lucky to get Mido Mosa as our guide. Excellent English and so knowledgeable. Made the trip so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend Mido and Imperial Egypt.
Did this trip one way on the MS Tulip after flying in from Cairo. A great way to see the temples. Guide on board. Nightly entertainment. Excellent refurbished, clean boat and cabins. Enthuastic staff and great choice in the dining room at mealtimes. Didn't do the drinks package as didn't think it was worth it. Bought a few alcoholic drinks at the bar but not all big brand spirits. Not sure how much of the envelope of cash was shared between all the staff at the end. Everyone off the boat wanted tips for everything which was a bit of a pain! A great easy/slow way to see the sights and the Nile. Top deck small pool was not heated though and was very cold even in 40 degree outdoor heat. Liked the shaded cabana areas. Boat not full due to lack post covid travellers. I hope things pick up for them.
Since the beginning Hany was the greatest guide we would wish! Very kind and professional, always on time, with a large knowledge about what he was explaining! The trip was absolutely amazing because he prepared all the details. We really recommend him and also the cruise. We did the trip at the Jaz Crown Jubilee, the staff are also amazing in each detail!!!! We don't have words to express how it was awesome!!!
Exploring these temples was an extraordinary experience. But this was made possible because we had an extraordinary guide Hady who is genuinely passionate about his work and puts a ton of energy into it. If you end up with a bad guy it won’t be the same as you’ll be just walking around staring at a bunch of very old stones with hieroglyphics on it… Cruising was nice and our kids enjoyed it. The vessel is very old and definitely not fancy so don’t aspect anything at all from it ( including the food though it was ok ) but quickly you adjust as the beauty of what you will see makes it all extremely worthy.
My family and I had a great time during this trip. Hany at Imperial office has been very professional and trustworthy before and during our trip, replying promptly to all our enquiries. But the highlight of this holiday was Hady, our guide. We was knowledgeable, engaging, funny and with a real passion for his work, as well as being a caring and very kind human being. If you go for this trip, make sure Hady is your guide
I highly recommend the Le Fayan. The boat was well maintained, staff were extremely pleasant, food was great and the rooms were clean with excellent panoramic windows to enjoy all the Nile has to offer. The other highlight of our trip was our tour guide, Hady. His excellent knowledge of Egyptian history and local traditions made for a very enjoyable and educational trip. Hady was also available to assist us in all our logistical arrangements throughout the trip which was invaluable. Highly recommend!
We had a great experience from start to finish. We went as a couple with a a 8y. old child and it was very easy and enjoyable. Communication with the tour operator and guide was super quick and straitforward. We picked the boat Le Fayan and really loved it: great food, very comfortable cabins, and amazing staff. The tours were very well timed and organized, with still plenty of time to relax in between the visits to these amazing sites. One of the highlights of our trip was our tour guide Hady who contributed immensely to our flawless experience: very knowledgeable about everything Egyptian - ancient and modern - super nice, and fun. He organised everything for us, including pick ups and drivers to/from hotels, and made everything super easy for us. Highly recommend!
Experience on the boat was great. Great food. Friendly environment. Tours where great in Luxor Temple and Karnak. Some other tours in Komombo and Edfu were a bit less. harder tk understand guides. Sometimes could feel rushed and some individual decision making seemed harder. I personally prefer a bit more freedom. Nonetheless I enjoyed the peaceful sundeck and made a good friend.
What a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this trip. Hanny thé tour operator manager is always available to solve some eventual problems during the trip. Each time I had to complain about something HAny answered very quickly and did the best he could to solve my matter. He has also been very available before the trip regarding some questions about my journey. As a conclusion a very professional manager. However I would rather recommend going for the 3 night Nile cruise and do west and east bank of Luxor the first day. Unfortunately the boat draws alongside far from Luxor city center and is adjacent to many other boats. Thus there is no point of staying 1 night in Luxor much better to arrive the day where the boat starts sailing towards Edfu. The highlight of my trip was the encounter with an incredibly professional and friendly guide, Hady. He has been taking care of my well-being during the whole trip even when his guided tour had ended. His knowledge about the Egyptian history is fascinating every possible questions has an answer with Hady. His flexibility to my wishes regarding some visits, interests, … has also amazed me. He also helped me sparing some money by not paying some entrance fees for some sites which he considered less interesting and thus gave the explanations from the outside of the historical site. I knew I could count on him every moment of the trip! I also had some bad experiences with some other guide in Kom ombo and from that point you do realize how much a guide does influence your wellbeing during a journey abroad. As a conclusion If I could rate Hady he would get a 20/20 with no single doubt. I highly recommend you to insist having Hady as a guide during your Trip with Imperial Egypt Tours.
We spent 4 nights on the Monica cruise from Luxor to Aswan. All in all, great experience, friendly staff and a great way too see Egypt. (Just note that when the cruise says drinks not included , that also means water not included. 😉). For us, the highlight of the trip was our amazing guide, Mostafa Molattam. Mostafa is everything you could want in a guide- full of knowledge, positive, reliable and overall really great company. For those that aren't used to travelling with a guide, I would say that in Egypt, I really could not imagine not having a guide because at the end of the day, it really does make the experience 👌👌
Hady was our tour guide - you couldn't ask for a more helpful or professional guide! Amazing experience overall. Imperial are a great travel agent. I tried to book a cruise through a couple of different operators but they were really vague on itinerary and very pushy on prices. Imperial were completely different - Hany responded immediately on WhatsApp at 11pm and by 12pm we had a full fledged itinerary to match the extras we wanted and our travel arrangements, all at a great price. You can upgrade your boat for about 125 dollars, and it was worth every penny. On Le Fayan we had stunning rooms with panoramic windows, and Michelin level food every night.
Amazing experience, great to see the Nile pass by. We got to visit many places in a short period of time because of this cruise. Hany from imperial is really on top of things. It's easy to get ripped off in Egypt but we got a great price and he managed to fix a great itinerary for us, fitting everything we needed. We were on the Le Fayan boat, the room was very nice with a stunning view and the staff and food were incredible. We had Hady as our personal guide who was extremely knowledgable and always on time. He helped organise the trip for us and made the experience very easy and enjoyable. Hady went above and beyond to make our trip smooth, even helping us get a Sim card and get medicine from the pharmacy. Thanks Hady! If you wish to learn a bit about the Egyptian history and culture I would recommend Hady for your trip.
Great trip all around with Imperial egypt! Thank you Hany for helping us organize from abroad, and thank you Hany for taking care of all the details during the course of our 5 days! Must do the trip and make sure you get Hany as your guide. His knowledge and English were fantastic.
We did the 5 day and 4 night tour with Imperial Egypt, with Hady as our guide and we had such a wonderful time. Hady was an incredible tour guide who spoke impeccable English and had profound knowledge of Egyptology. He really made the trip amazing for us by being friendly and thoughtful, it felt like we were truly travelling with a good friend! I can’t recommend this tour enough, you won’t regret it!
Mr.Amr, our guide went out of his way to serve us and guide us. He has immense knowledge of the ancient Egyptian history. We really really enjoyed being guided by him. I cannot think of anyone better for this job. Thank you again and hope to see you next year too :)
We had an amazing 4D3N tour from Luxor to Aswan on MS Sarah. It’s our first time to Egypt, and this is a must do!! Our guide, Ahmed Aziz is extremely knowledgeable on the ancient history of Egypt, and explained the history of each site we visited with anecdotes that were clear and funny. The ship, MS Sarah was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. Our flight departed Aswan in the late evening, and they accommodated a late checkout for us. The food onboard the ship was delicious, and amenities top notch. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Overall, our trip was amazing and I would highly recommend anyone coming to Egypt to book a cruise with Imperial Egypt and ask for Ahmed! He went above and beyond in showing us beautiful sites in a good pace. In Aswan, Ahmed took us out to an amazing lunch and taught us about local Egyptian delicacies and culture. At the end of our tour, Ahmed and his colleagues arranged a last minute PCR test, and all communication from the beginning was responded to very promptly. This is a trip that you won’t forget, and be sure to ask for Ahmed!
The trip was 10/10. It was my first cruise and visit to Egypt and I enjoyed it a lot! I would recommend booking a tour (with a guide) as you would not be able to appreciate the history of ancient Egypt otherwise. Also, it’s so much easier when you have a guide to show you around and take care of the tickets. One of the highlights of the trip was the lovely tour guide Ahmed Aziz. He was extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egypt and would tell very interesting stories about the different temples we visited. I particularly liked the story about the Temple of Horus. Ahmed is also very dedicated to his job - we asked a very specific question and the next day he had prepared a long and well-researched response. He was also very friendly and helpful - as he arranged for us to check out late and took us to a local Egyptian restaurant in Aswan. I’d definitely recommend Ahmed. The cruise itself was great too - the rooms are spacious and the windows are big. The food was good as well. I plan to come back to Egypt soon.
We just came back from our trip to Egypt where we had the pleasure to be on a cruise on the river Nile organized with Imperial Egypt. The booking was made in a quick and easy way. This company has probably the most competitive price for Nile cruises. They offered us a free upgrade to the M/S Steigenberger Royale, that it’s a great boat, as the boat we wanted was full. We specifically requested as Hady as guide, since our friends recommended him. It was right the choice: Hady made our trip just perfect. He is a great person and an excellent guide, an Egyptologist, that with a very well English explained us in a detailed way the fascinating history of his country. His explanations were accurate and super interesting. We particularly enjoyed the ones at the Medinet Habu and Karnak temples in Luxor. Furthermore he took care of all our needs, protecting us from scams and teaching us how to give tip/baksheesh, a very important part of the Egyptian culture. If you decide to take a tour with this company, don’t hesitate to ask for Hady as your tour guide.
In Egypt, the difference between watching rocks, getting frustrated by hawkers, and sinking deep into history and myth has always been a good guide. In that regard Medo from Imperial Egypt was simply the best! (Well, he actually admits that Hady is the best, but the two guys are old classmates and good friends. Hady was with another couple on the same ship with us so we met him, too. They are both great!) When I was still doing my research, Imperial stood out with their excellent reviews, and they offered me a really competitive price for what I wanted so when I finally landed in Luxor, I kind of expected happy-in-life Medo, an Egyptology major from Cairo University, to take me around Egypt's highlights, keeping the engaging story about long gone kings and queens going, answering all our tricky questions. That was a given. The number of times they went above and beyond, however... Even before I got to Egypt, I planned my trip with the help of a guy called Hany. He is the trips administrator and manager and I asked him specifically about the condition of the boats. My request was to book us on a decent vessel. With that in mind, Hany suggested we alter our travel dates slightly so we get the best possible choice (due to Covid, only about 10% of all cruise ships on the Nile are currently working so choice is limited). We could change our dates easily so we followed his advice and we ended up on the 2015 Blue Shadow which is one of the best ships in its class on the Nile. That was all great, but what we didn't expect was that Hany also got us a free upgrade to Royalty Suite, the best cabin on the boat, a full-size studio apartment, finished in solid wood and marble, and a hydromassage bathtub! What a way to be greeted in Luxor after spending a cold sleepless night at Cairo Airport to make a domestic connection! As for our guide, Medo, he is genuinely an honest person and of good character. Right from the beginning, he explained to us where we should tip and how much. Tipping in Egypt is culture - to an extent where there are signs at the airport not to tip the security guards who search you. That goes for locals, too. Honestly, if you don't feel comfortable giving away $100 in tips in Egypt, you shouldn't visit. Added to the other costs, Egypt is still a cheap destination anyway. With Medo's guidance, we never felt we are giving too much and we were (for the most part) greeted with a smile. Our guide also often bought small things for us like coffee and water so we didn't have to pay tourist prices. He helped us avoid some of the most obvious tourist traps, but also helped a bit with the more obscure ones, too, like the obligatory one or two shopping trips between site visits. Honestly, I think these are literary government directive and can often catch you off guard, but very few tourists actually enjoy them. It is sad, because my understanding is one in ten of these shops could be genuine, but that is not a good ratio for any Westerner to ever feel comfortable in one. Medo understood that and was completely agreeable when we refused to go on those. Where he did take us, and I am deeply grateful for it, was on our last evening in Aswan when we had some extra time, he just took us for a walk around the souk area because we asked for umm ali (best Arabian dessert so make sure you try it). No guided tour, just going for a stroll, eating our desserts. At Abu Simbel, he also got us to a sandwich place where the drivers go to eat where we had the best falafel! I really appreciate these moments where one gets to see the real culture of the land, because the reality is the minute you step away from the tourist places, the people around become radically normal. After Aswan, we parted ways with Medo and left for Cairo, but he kept in touch over WhatsApp, sending us local food tips, etc. He also took care of our PCR tests prior to departure and got a doctor to come and see us in our room for them, all standard price again. Overall, we had fantastic time in Egypt and I can comfortably say that Imperial Egypt, and Medo personally, made a huge difference. This is actually the second time I am doing the Nile cruise, first time being in 2006, and this time was markedly better. Imperial saw us through and their excellent service really extended beyond the time we were with them. All in all, we got the best private tour of the country at the price of a group visit (or possibly cheaper)!
We were a little unsure what to expect with covid still at large in the world but couldn't have been happier once we arrived! Excellent assistance from Hany in booking the trip as there were limited boats available. Once settled Mostafa our guide took care of the rest. He did an amazing job in bringing to life the history of Egyptian civilisation during our Temple visits and seemed to know the Egyptian deities inside out. He also answered all our questions about local customs including where to get a local sim card! Would highly recommend this tour and if you have Mostafa then you'll be very lucky indeed! Abu Simbel is a must.
Great historical places, wonderful service, perfect guide, brilliant experience, outstanding food, divine overall experience.
Imperial Egypt is one of the best tour operators we encountered in Egypt and are very transparent and honest with the prices and what is and what’s not included in the itinerary. Whatever itinerary they give you will be exactly the same and you can choose to add or remove things without issues. Mr. Hany was very helpful with giving clear and concise information. Whatever questions you have; he’ll reply straight away with a lot of details and is very professional. He even gives you extra little tips like giving us a list of where to do the pcr test. We asked for Hady as a tour guide upon the recommendation of our colleague and we were so lucky to have him for our trip! I cannot stress enough how having the right tour guide can really make a difference to your trip!! He straight away explained to us how the tipping system worked which later helped us a great deal when dealing with the cruise and people we met. (Other guests we met weren’t informed about how it works and ended up giving way more than necessary and were a little frustrated.) Mr. Hady is very welcoming and knowledgeable not only about the tour but about the history of Ancient Egypt and really enjoys it! He would explain the significance of the site in the manner of storytelling which my husband and I found very interesting and gave life to the site. After his brief on the site, he’d give us enough time to snap some great photos. He was very patient with my husband who didn’t know much about history and would repeat happily so he can have a proper understanding of the information. He also took my husband to the city center of Aswan so he can enjoy the local culture (he didn’t have to do) and they had a great time. For our last day after we checked out of the cruise and finished our tour, he stayed with us (because he didn’t want us to wait outside the airport because they don’t let people in until 3hrs before the flight) and took us to a local place that served one of the best koftas in Aswan and then another place for coffee before dropping us off at the airport (he again, didn’t have to do!). It really felt like we were welcomed and had such an amazing time with Hady! So glad we had him! If you want to experience the local culture in Aswan or Luxor, ask him to take you around! Anything you want to do, just ask Hady ! TIP: FOR THE CRUISE-SHIP, AT THE END OF THE CRUISE WHEN YOU SETTLE THE BILL, THERE WILL BE A BOX AND ENVELOPES. THAT IS WHERE YOU LEAVE THE TIP MONEY. It’s more fair this way because they will split it between everyone on the ship because it’s not just the front staff that made the trip! Don’t tip during the cruise; leave everything at the end!
From the very first moment I started to communicate with Hany from Imperional Egypt via email, we already felt we were in good hands. Quick and precise when answering all our queries. The trip was very well organized in a very nice cruise (Princess Sarah II), clean, convenient and the food was varied and tasty every single day. Our scheduled was organized in a way of getting a good depth into the Pharao’s history. All crew involved during our trip were beyond expectations. Specially our Egyptologist tour guide Hady, who showed a big passion and thorough knowledge during all our trip. His English was excellent so it helped us to get the full picture every single explanation. I encourage you to ask for him when booking your trip. Our memories from Egypt would have been different if we didn’t have Hady with us. He became not only our tour guide but also our brother. He even helped us to book the PCR test and arranged the lab team to come and take the sample to the boat. How convenient that was! All tours are private so they know how to avoid the crowds and reach the temple at the right time, making you feel even more special on their hands. Such a pleasure having travelled with Imperial Egypt. Hector
It was such a pleasure to do the Nile cruise with Imperial Egypt especially being taken care of by Hady. All the excursions have been organized well with the great knowledge about Egyptogy of Hady - our tour guide. The cruise is nice, good food and nice service from the staff. We also received prompt response from Hani - the tour organizer - when we tried to ask for the information of the tour with no hidden fee. The price is extremely good comparing to the market. We had a wonderful time in Egypt thanks to Imperial Egypt and Hady.
Mido was excellent, honest and very knowledgeable! He taught the history of Egypt with great detail!
Great tour! Our guide Nido was the absolute best! He is super knowledgeable about the Temples, kings, and Egyptian history and I’m sure even more. He took great care of us, providing great hospitality and very friendly. I definitely recommend checking them out. If I ever come back I would book again.
The Nile cruise was the BEST way to be able to see so many temples and locations along the stretch of the Nile. It made exploring the distance from Luxor to Aswan super easy. You have a room, transportation, all your meals, a driver, a guide, and most of the entry fees covered. It’s a no brainer. Our guide was Hossam Rashwan. Imperial Egypt was very prompt with any inquiries and Hossam picked us up from our hotel promptly and had a very enthusiastic attitude. He picked up waters for us and stopped to get us falafels too. He started a What’s App group to send us information and pictures of places we’d be visiting and interesting facts about those spots. When Hossam took us to temples and tombs he knew the good spots to see and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. He was very helpful when we had questions about tipping, and other things we weren’t sure about. Hossam is an excellent guide and was a great asset in explaining so much Egyptian history that we were able to apply what he taught us when we visited the Cairo museum on our own later in our trip. I’d highly recommend Imperial Egypt as your travel company in Egypt and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get Hossam as your guide.
Imperial Egypt did a great job arranging our tour and arranging for Hady to be our Tourguide. Hady is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and speaks English very clearly and understandably.
We are nearing the end of our tour with Imperial Egypt. So happy that we were assigned “Hady” as our tour guide. He was excellent - so informative and a great communicator. You could tell he was very passionate about the history of Egypt and sharing his knowledge with tourists like ourselves. His English was perfect - so easy to understand. We had 4 in our group from the USA along with a family of 4 from Sweden. He made sure that everyone was safe and comfortable when going out onto the streets visiting the markets. I would highly recommend Hady as your tour guide. Thanks again to Imperial Egypt for arranging this tour and pairing us up with Mr Hady.
The food was terrific, the staff were friendly and every so helpful. They fixed my phone, my camera, and made the most fabulous creatures out of the towels in my room. I loved that. Nothing was too much trouble and the moment you rang because the TV didn't work or anything, it was fixed immediately. I could spend a lot of time on that boat.
My wife and I came to Egypt for our honeymoon, and part of our trip was a five day four night cruise from Luxor to Aswan on the Blue Shadow. Our cruise was breathtaking and the guided tour at each step was the best we have ever had. Hady, our tour guide, was with us for all five days and treated us just like family. He has an extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and culture, which far exceeded all expectations. He is fluent in English and German with a terrific sense of humor. More importantly, Hady is a genuinely good man. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout our stay. He was very flexible with our itinerary and moved things around based on our preferences. Knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and punctual, we could not be more happy with our experience. We would rate the experience above five stars if possible. Ps. He also knows where to find the best falafel!
