Booked months in advance as a family of four with older kids, messaged to check sleeping arrangements well in advance and told would get 2 cabins (have in writing). The afternoon before the cruise informed by text message by them would only be one cabin and 3 beds for the 4 of us. When we questioned what they had previously advised they just cancelled the booking on us without even asking us for our permission to do so, leaving us to scramble around to find a last-minute alternative at significant additional cost given we were already in Luxor and our itinerary for travel around Egypt was already planned. We complained to Viator who reportedly have ‘no control over provider cancellations’ even though they impose a cancellation deadline of their own for purchasers (which had passed and would have meant no refund had we have cancelled at that stage). We would therefore avoid ‘Go Egypt tours’ at all costs based on our experience as the same could easily happen to anyone else.

Following your arrival in Luxor, we will assist you at the airport or railway station and take you to the Cruise. After lunch, your Egyptologist tour guide will take you to visit the Karnak Temple, which took more than 2,000 years to be built and is the largest in the ancient world. Next you will visit the Luxor Temple, built during the New Empire.

Early Morning pick up to the marine where we going to take a motor boat to the west bank of Luxor enjoy the life trip Hot Air Balloon After that we will start the visit of the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis by visiting the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs from the New kingdom hewn their tombs in the mountains aiming to hide their treasure and protect their mummies. After breakfast, Explore the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is very well preservation. Afterward, the cruise sails to Kom Ombo, which is the only double temple in Egypt, dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek. Then Sail to Aswan.
Once arrive to Kom Ombo, The Tour Guide will accompany you to visit the temple

Around 4:30, your guide will pick you up for Abu Simble trip (sharing a small group) with your luggage, to visit one of the most impressive places in Egypt; the rock cut temples of Abu Simble with their unique design built for King Ramses 2nd and his beloved Queen Nefertari. Back to Aswan and we will drop you off at hotel located on the east side of the nile, Aswan Airport or Railway Station. End of Trip

Check out after breakfast. Discover with your guide the highlights of Aswan and listen to the story of the Nubian immigration. Start your tour by visiting the High Dam; achieved in 1960 to protect Egypt from the flood and generate electric
Proceed to visit the Philae Temple dedicated to goddess Isis using a small motorboat to get there. Later on, you will be transferred to your Aswan Hotel/Airport or Railway station.

Hot air balloon ride over Luxor temples was amazing. It was good that the Nile cruise tour included both hot air balloon and Abu Simbel. Def highlights of the trip.
This was overall a very good experience: The positives: -the organizer was very responsive, great client service from day one of booking the cruise till the end of the cruise. -the program was really like explained in the description, even when there was a sand storm in Kom Ombo and we could not sail to Asswan for Abu Simbel the day after, the organizer arranged for our guide to pick us up by car and get us to the destination on time. -the food was good and varied, bed comfortable, staff very nice, the rooms were cleaned everyday -because this was a 4 nights (rather than 3 nights as most of the other cruises) experience, we had slightly more time to visit the temples - guides were quite good, very informative, leaving us quite a good time to visit the monuments except for Abu Simble where we had 1h30 on site for 6 hours of driving but when we asked to stay a bit longer he said no problem. The negative: -out of 5 days of cruise we did not sail that much (did not sail on the first and last days, and because of the sand storm we did not get to see the sail between Kom Ombo and Asswan) -the boat was looking a bit old / kitchy -the boats were following each other so felt a bit touristic, we were sometimes overwhelmed with pollution But it was wonderful experience !

It was a great experience! The personnel was wonderful, extremely kind, attentive, very helpful, they were always trying to keep us happy. The cruise was fine, clean and the food was good! The guides of each spot during the trip were EXCELLENT! They took care of us wonderfully and showed us the amazing history of each place! I do recommend this Cruise! Not too fancy but at the same time it wasnt a low budget one, it had all you need for a trip like this, so I do recommend it!

This was a wonderful family trip! Our tour guide Michael Samy arranged a great schedule that enabled us to see all of the cites and still have time to relax in the boat at the heat of day. The additional excursions like the spice market and Nubian village were also a joy. The boy was lovely and the food was lovely. A great way to experience Egypt!

This Nile Cruise was a fabulous family vacation. The itinerary was very inclusive as we visited all the major temples including Abu Simbel. The hot air balloon ride was also a special treat. The ship was clean, the staff was very friendly, and the food was very tasty. Our tour guide Micheal Sammy was fun and very knowledgeable. He taught us a lot on the history of ancient Egypt. He was also very flexible with our large group. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone interested.
The Nile Cruise was a once in a life time experience. In addition to seeing all the incredible temples, the balloon ride was something special and a fan favorite from the trip. Additionally our tour guide Micheal Samy was amazing. He was extremely patient with our slower moving family of 17 and told us fascinating stories at each temple. He was so much fun and a joy to have with us on this trip.

We did an adventurous Nile cruise tour this summer with our guide Michael Samy, who made the trip exceptional. The cruise is a perfect combination of educational outings and relaxing downtime on the boat. the food was very good. michael samy was the most outstanding guide and absolutely made our trip. this guy was actually the best, wish i could’ve taken him home with me after the trip and miss him already.
I liked all of the experiences but at times it was overwhelming because we had to wake up really early most days. There was also an experience that wasn’t really reasonable because we drove a total of 6 hours just to go see a temple for one hour. Everything else was really fun and the balloon ride was incredible.

On m'a contacté quelques jours avant le départ pour m'annoncer que la croisière que j'avais initialement réservé était cancellé et qu'on allait me donne l'équivalent...foutaise. On aurait dit un bateau de service, ma fenêtre de chambre ne fermait pas alors bruits et odeur de carburant utilisé par tous les bateaux nous entourant. Bouffe boff...je ne parlerai même pas des boites déjeuner pour les journées d'excursion, je les ai donné aux chiens. seul point positif : staff toujours joyeux et dispo

! A FUIR ! Très déçu, je ne recommande pas cette croisière, ni le tour opérateur GO TOURS EGYPT qui n'a vraiment pas été sérieux. J'ai déjà fait des croisières 5 étoiles sur le Nil et le bateau n'avait rien à voir avec celui-ci. En l'occurrence notre cabine ainsi que le bateau étaient plutôt médiocres, très vétustes dans l'ensemble. Aucune isolation sonore à l'intérieur de la cabine (entente du moteur, des gens dans le couloir, ainsi qu'au dessus du plafond, et des travaux qui ont terminé à minuit dans les chambres voisines...). La salle de bain avait de vieux joints salles et la douche était cassée. La nourriture était mauvaise et nous avons été malades durant le séjour. Concernant les excursions, nous n'avons eu qu'un guide francophone pour 1h sur les 4 guides au total qui parlaient anglais pour la plupart, alors que l'annonce stipulait un guide français pour la totalité du séjour. 2 guides sur 4 étaient bien (professionnels et complets dans leurs explications). Donc assez déçu dans l'ensemble, c'est la dernière fois que nous passons par VIATOR pour nos excursions/ croisières car au final ils nous ont proposé un remboursement de 45 euros sur les 680 euros payés au total pour deux personnes. Dans les annonces, Viator s'arrange pour mettre des photos qui ne correspondent pas à l'activité/ au bateau avec la complicité de GO TOURS qui a osé nous répondre que les photos étaient celles d'un bateau d'une autre croisière/ autre itinéraire (avec un meilleur standing...) et qu'ils nous proposaient de nous installer dans un meilleur bateau mais contre un supplément. Un conseil, faite des recherches, trouver le nom d'un bateau avec un bon standing et réserver directement avec ce bateau afin de ne pas être déçu, et réserver vos excursions indépendamment à la journée sur une application concurrente.
